Frame forwarding my blog
-
Hello again..
Last blog question for a while, I promise!
The annoying folk behind my website say that the only way for my blog to be at http://www.celynnenphography.co.uk/blog would be to frame forward it, because of how they are hosting, managing it etc
Is this an acceptable and useful thing regarding SEO? (I want my website to benefit from my blog's content)
Thanks a lot guys!
Ioan

ahh what your talking about is a bit different from what I thought you meant, but ok lets focus on your question now that I know what your talking about.
I would make the http://cheshireweddingphotographyblog.co.uk into a landing page of some sort and work allot on usability and design and have the content focus on weddings.
if you use the frame forward you'll risk creating duplicate content and all sort of other problems. frame forwards are the worst thing that was ever invented and google hates them, allot. since your able to cheat Google's clients.

So taking http://cheshireweddingphotographyblog.co.uk/, forwarding it to http://www.celynnenphography.co.uk/blog will make http://www.celynnenphography.co.uk/ (my main and "most important" website) worst?!

I haven't read your previus questions but here's my two cents: Whatever you do, DO NOT do that!
it will make it very difficult for the robots to crawl your site and some won't even do it.
I would advice you to find a new host. and move all of your material to the new blog.
A iframe solution is one of the worst solutions you can make.

Blog page ranked in a matter of hours, now what to continue climbing ?
Hello, I just published a blog page a few days ago and it currently ranks on 3 rd page for the keyword "loire valley bike tours". Something I haven't managed to do for years with my page that talks about tours in the loire valley. My guess is that I have better content on it. Now my question is : will it continue climbing (if so at what rate) or will it stay there unless I improve my content and get links to it or will google calculate its PR and have it slowly climb over time...without changing anything. Thank you,

Does having a different sub domain for your Landing Page and Blog affect your overall SEO benefits and Ranking?
We have a domain www.spintadigital.com that is hosted with dreamhost and we also have a seperate subdomain blog.spintadigital.com which is hosted in the Ghost platform and we are also using Unbounce landing pages with the sub domain get.spintadigital.com. I wanted to know whether having subdomain like this would affect the traffic metric and ineffect affect the SEO and Rankings of our site. I think it does not affect the increase in domain authority, but in places like similar web i get different traffic metrics for the different domains. As far as i can see in many of the metrics these are considered as seperate websites. We are currently concentrating more on our blogs and wanted to make sure that it does help in the overall domain. We do not have the bandwidth to promote three different websites, and hence need the community's help to understand what is the best option to take this forward.

Including FAQ as Invividual Blog Posts Without Duplicate Issues
My website's FAQ section has a lot of detailed answers, of which I want to upload most on an individual basis to my blog. Example: I may have 30 FAQ and I want to upload 28 of these FAQ as individual blog posts, as it could be good additional search traffic. Question: how do I deal with duplicate content issues? Do I Include canonical? The FAQ are all on the same URL - not separate URL's - which means each blog post would only represent a small % of the entire FAQ section, though each blog would be a 100% copy of an FAQ.

Any tips for moving my blog from blogspot.com to a domain I already own?
I own a blog that's getting popular, http://iworktemplates.blogspot.com, and I have many good linking domains pointing to it namely, apple.com/iwork/resources. I wondered if anyone had any tips on how I could move this without loosing that tremendous link juice?
