Secondary related keywords
-
Hello,
Do my secondary related keywords need to also come out as subjects in my sentences or can they be objects / predicate.
Thank you,
-
"Mr X flew back to the United States last week"
In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with your sentence. I understand it. I think that Google will understand it.
Most of the writing that I do is very formal writing. Other people write in a relaxed manner, as though they are speaking. That type of speaking and writing is known as **colloquial. **
I believe that much of your writing is colloquial and Google will accept it without a problem.
The only thing that I might add to your writing is some periods and commas. You might do that when you write for a website as forum writing is not given as much time.

I understand but you are probably a good writer and English is your native language which is why you don't have to think about it but from my understanding most of out there and don't construct sentences correctly...and writing in the format of subject object predicate is much more complicated that it sounds.
Take this sentence : "Mr X flew back to the United States last week" most of us would think the predicate is to the United States last week but according to my understand of semantics there isn't any predicate which means that search engine don't understand my sentence.

I believe that your related keywords are important to have on the page, but that there is very little benefit to contriving sentence structures to present them to Google in a certain way.
I believe that it is more important to have natural writing in which the writer's only focus is to communicate clearly and in an interesting way.
I spend zero time "writing sentences to please Google". I spend massive amounts of time trying to write in a way that my visitors will find interesting and easily understand.

By the way there are some keyword that I found 3 weeks ago doing my keyword research that i don't find anymore in the list doing my keyword research, is it possible to that the list varies week after week ? Thank you,

A specific keyword has dropped from #1 in Google to nowhere at all...
Hi guys, I hope you can help. We have a large ecommerce website which has different domains for each language - GB, USA, DE, AU & CA. I've been working my way through the errors that have been flagged in Moz and today I noticed something quite worrying. One of our strong keywords has dropped from 1st place to nowhere at all. However, the Canadian version is ranking in the UK desktop search and our mobile site is appearing in the desktop search too. The keyword is 'personalised macbook cover' and the page in question is https://www.mrnutcase.com/en-GB/personalised-macbook-cover/ I'm confused as this page was ranking brilliantly a couple of weeks ago and now it's nowhere to be seen. We've added alternate and canonical tags to distinguish which site is mobile and which site is desktop. We've also submitted a sitemap so that it takes into account all of the languages. There are no harmful links and we've changed the content of the page across each language. I've attached what appears in the SERP's in the UK. (there is the mobile version ranking at the top and the Canadian version further down the page) Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Danny webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=personalised%20macbook%20covers

Possible for SERP appearance to change on a keyword?
Hi, We're currently working with a brand name which happens to be the name of a small town in the US (126 population). When Googling the brand / town name, there's a map on the right-hand side of the SERP. (Google Maps, with the town highlighted) We're based in Sweden, and this is even showing up on a search on the Swedish Google. I'm wondering; Is it possible for the map to "be removed" as our brand becomes more known? Does anyone have any similar experiences? Is it a better idea to just switch brand name?

Does this work as a tactic for including keyword in URL structure
Howdy, I'm planning out a website and need to plan out the URL structure for best SEO value. Generally I would do something like this:
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | IrvCo_Interactive
site.com/widgetssite.com/widgets/large
site.com/widgets/large/blue
etc. I think this is a pretty straight forward SEO tactic. The issue I have with it is in terms of natural language the "thing" you are searching for in this case is a widget, so typically you would type/search [adjective] [noun], or in this case "large blue widgets." So one proposal I have is to instead append the "widget" to the end of the URL:
site.com/large-widgets
site.com/large/blue-widgets
site.com/large/blue/square-widgets
etc. Obviously this breaks the whole silo concept since the square-widgets page is inside the /blue directory but the blue widgets page isn't at /blue it is /blue-widgets. My solution is to setup 301 redirects from /blue to /blue-widgets (even thought there are no site links pointing to that page). Does this seem like a good idea? Or does this break the whole folder silo concept? What I like about it is that it feels more user friendly in terms of natural language and for certain high value keywords we can get certain pairings of words into the URL more like how a person would type them in.0 -
How to Best Target Two Keyword Phrases for a Business Directory
Our client has medical centers all over the US and we rank really well for the term "DIALYSIS CENTER" as well as all the major markets "DIALYSIS CENTER LOS ANGELES", etc. We need to add in a Second Keyword Phrase of "CKD CENTER" (which is an alternate term for the same medical center). Should we change all the TITLE, H1, etc that we have done to a COMBINED term of "CKD DIALYSIS CENTER" or "DIALYSIS CKD CENTER" and all the local market variations? We can't create 2 pages for one business in the directory, but we're not sure the right way to make sure that the pages are now targeted for 2 terms. Thanks in advance for any help & advice!!!!

Better to re-direct to a completely un-related page or 404?
We have about 1000 pages we need to eliminate from our site (of about 18000 URLs). these URLs don't see a ton of traffic, but may have some valuable links. Would we be better to 404 these or re-direct them to our homepage? Could re-directing to our homepage hurt us?
