Most of the backlinks not listed
-
Hi, I'm running a website since one year and a half, and I'm periodically watching with Moz OSE tools the number of backlinks it has.
It still shows only 11 backlinks from 8 domains, even if my actual backlinks are much more and come from about 40 domains.
I've already searched the forum and read that Moz scraper updates once per month, but all these backlinks are like 6 months old, and still no trace.
Many other competitor tools, including the simple google search console can see all the backlinks, only Moz can't retrieve them.
Do you have any idea? Somebody else in the same situation?
Or is there a way to submit to Moz links to pages containing that backlinks?
Thanks

Having the same issue. I have numerous dofollow backlinks from high DA sites and also from some of the best ranking legit directories in the industry yet they are nowhere to be found. I understand that "not all" will be found but "none at all" is very disappointing.

Hi, thanks for your reply,
It's still a bit strange because the missing backlinks are from the most important websites with higher DA and relevance (some like linkedin, couchsurfing, ect).
So I suppose there's no page submission tools available and just need to "hope"?
Thanks.

Hi there — thanks for writing in and sorry about the trouble.
This is definitely due to the way we collect this information for our link index, and it is actually expected that we won’t find every page and link, because we aren’t looking for them all. When we collect this data, we’re looking specifically for the most valuable links and, rather than crawling your entire site or every site, we collect this by starting our crawler on a few highest ranking sites and letting it perform a breadth first search to see what it finds.
For each page that we crawl, we first collect each of it’s links before following these and collecting the details of each page that these link to and so on. There’s a set limit of links that we’ll crawl per page and pages that we’ll crawl per site so it’s expected that we may not follow every link on your site this way.
Generally, we recommend using a wide variety of backlink tools to get the most illustrative picture of how your site's backlink profile looks. OSE and Ahrefs index differently and have different purposes. Ahrefs is good for quantity while OSE is great for finding higher quality links. Domain Authority is our own proprietary metric that is closely correlated to Google rankings, so our customers often use OSE to research influential sites to build links.

Give a Solution my DA is not increasing and not index my backlinks in MOZ??
DA of my site is not increasing. It seems like Moz is not indexing my backlinks. Multiple backlinks of my site [ Tech Spotty ] is not indexing in Moz that is why DA is not increasing. Backlinks of my site have indexed in both Ahref and Semrush both not showing in Moz. DR has increased to 51 but DA is still 7. If anyone has the solution please let me know.

What steps should I follow after submitting disavow link list?
Hey Moz Team, This is Devesh Srivastava, you can call me Dev.
Link Explorer | | nikh26
Recently there was an update from your side and that was pretty good. I have analyzed model factors regarding Moz 2.0. Though my DA score has been down to 36 from 52, I would still say that an update was really necessary. I have some questions which require some clarification or you can say a proper solution.
As of now, I have removed all the Spam links which were coming to my website (https://edugorilla.com) and I have submitted the disavow list to GSC but I would like to know how should I begin my link building strategy keep everything in mind. And now that, I have removed those spam links how would Moz or how should I tell Moz or Google that those have been removed so how soon can I get back to my previous DA score? I am very much confused with the link building strategy now. What steps should I follow after submitting a disavow list and would Moz stats will change after Google Disavowing those links? Can anyone answer my question?1 -
Backlinks dropped in OSE
Hi Webmaster, I just checked my website backlinks In MOZ OSE (Open Sire Explorer) tool, from the recent report history, I took the following details, June 29,2014 - 775 links
Link Explorer | | zco_seo
Aug 13,2014 - 783 links
Apr 06,2015 - 861 links
Aug 10,2015 - 880 links
Sep 16,2015 - 880 links
Feb 16,2016 - 569 links
Mar 03,2016 - 672 links
Mar 23,2016 - 55 links (Only coming from blog comments, also different targeted pages, I just removed few blog & forum links, that was around 100 only) Is there any tool issue? But In Google search Console (Google Webmasters Tool) it was saying more backlinks. But, at the same time, I checked my competitors website too, they were having more links with target page only. If anyone know the answer for this, it will be good for us. Thanks in advance,
Cheers,

Local listings aren't being crawled?
Hello, SEO brainiacs. Here is the problem I can't figure out:We have a lot of clients and all of them have local listings, such as Insider Pages, Yahoo local, Bing locals, Yelp, Yellow Pages etc etc etc.
Link Explorer | | seomozinator
And all of those local listing have company's website link. But none of those links are considered (found) in reports, such as opensite explorer or in Link Analysis Section of Moz PRO. I do know that MOZ crawl considers only high DA websites, but all of local listing domains have above 80-90 DA score, so they can't be NOT crawled. I will say that some local listings do appear on very few reports, but far not all of them. So, what can be the problem?0 -
A simple count (with list if possible) of the external and internal links on a website
Dear Moz Community, I am trying to find a way to easily analyse a website (http://uk.chm-cbd.net) to determine the number of internal and external hyperlinks throughout the (roughly) 490 webpages within the site. It would also be extremely helpful to have a list of all the links with their url. Does anyone know of a tool, methodology to do this? If it requires a lot of programming then that does not help me very much as I am not very computer literate!! So a software to download or an online service would be very helpful. Open Site Explorer seems to be limited, such that I would have to do an analysis on each page within the website. BUT, if anyone knows how I can do using OSE, then please tell me. Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help Hugh
