100+ PPC Landing Pages Linking To Main URL... Hurting My SEO?
-
I started another thread around this question but don't think I was articulate enough. So, I have over 100 various landing pages that I use for targeted PPC. I don't really have any interest in these pages amassing their own SEO value; I simply use them for my PPC accounts. However, they all link back to my home page. Is this considered a link farm? And, if so, is the best option to simply add a nofollow attribute to all the links pointing to my home page? Would there be any reason to keep the links as follow? I don't think they're giving my site any SEO value but I'm concerned that they could be harming it instead.
Any expert advice would be much appreciated.

To answer your questions:
1. Yes, these are all different domains (ie. southcarolina-waterbottles.biz, tennessee-waterbottles.biz) but all these domains are hosted on the same ip address.
2. Yes, all the domains basically have the same content and the same links to the same pages on my main url. The only difference on the pages is some verbage that distinguishes each by state.
3. These pages do NOT link to each other; only to my main urls.
According to my SEMRUSH backlink audit, which most of these links show up on, these links have high toxicity markers, and most of them are identified by their ip network. I'm worried that Google has identified these and may be doing more than just devaluing them, which would really be the best case scenario. I think they may possibly be harming my overall rankings because of these links. It seems impossible to know.
What do you think, based on the information above?
-
It depends.
I have a few questions.
- Are these links all coming from different domains (e.g. carparts.com/ppc-page, waterbottles.biz/landing-page)?
- Are all these links pointing to the same page on your site?
- Do these pages link to each other? (i.e. waterbottles.biz links to all your other PPC pages and all your other PPC pages link to it).
If the links are coming from different domains, not linking to each other, and linking to different pages on your website, that all looks pretty natural and non-link farmy to me.
The question for me, would be what value do these links to your site deliver? Are they distracting the user from the main call to action? Are you hoping that these links will tell users you provide PPC services? Just curious.

PPC: how to get rid of an ad appearing on a keyword we don't want?
Hi, Our ad on Google Ads is appearing for a search we don't want. it isn't in our search keywords and when i try and ad it to our negative ones, we get the error " You cannot exclude keywords that are targeted " which i assume means that google thinks we are bidding on it? We have a selection of broad phrase matches so i can only think that this is where it's coming from? Do you have any tips on tracking down which keyword is generating this ad and how we can turn it off? (we don't want to pay for clicks on this search if possible!) Btw - i have turned off each keyword in turn to test it = nothing. have then paused the whole campaign = gets rid of the ad (but this is our most successful campaign so i can't just turn it off). Any advice super super welcome. thank you!

Can I dynamically add city name to my PPC ad text and URL based on the user's search?
I have looked into DKI (Dynamic Keyword Insertion), but have not found a solution and thought that some excellent Mozzer might be able to help. Here is the idea: We have landing pages for hundreds of cities. The local content on each of these cities changes page to page, however the keywords that we are going after are the same. So, I am trying to create a dynamic ad group that looks something like this: Headline: {City Name} {Keyword} Description: We cover {City Name} {Keyword}, get more info now! URL: http://www.website.com/{City Name} Please let me know if you can assist with this, B

What is the definition of 'Paid links' for Google ?
Many high authority sites are doing paid text linking and linking sites through 'Sponosred linking' sections, But, Google does not seem to be bothered. Just because they are already ruling the industry. Sponsored links are obviously not natural, they are absolutely paid, still Google is giving them priority that is why only people are paying huge for them. Please go through the website http://goo.gl/tgfH and see "Sponored link" section So, What actually Google considers as paid link? nNolr nNolr

Launching a PPC Campaign during the Holidays
Hi Mozzers- I have a client who is interested in running a PPC campaign. We are all setup to go...Here's my dilemma. The client provides moving services - household and commercial. I'm torn whether or not to launch the campaign during the holidays. Pros: We're not paying for impressions so it won't cost us any more $$. Cons: It probably won't show the best outcome over December - clicks/conversion. Thoughts? Pull the trigger and launch or wait until January? Thanks!
