When writing my content do my related keyword need to be noun subject in my sentence or can they be predicate ?

Hi seoanalytics,

Your keyword should appear several times throughout the content and in my opinion it should appear in all possible variants and also with synonyms. So it could be sometines noun subjet and others predicate, both things.

However, I am trying to find a way to avoid the manual labour. Hi all, My website is www.bruadair.com which is a luxury 7 bedroom villa in Barbados primary suited for large groups and weddings , using googles adword keyword tool i have been trying to establish some long tail keywords that i could include in my website. However i am finding it extremely difficult to find any long tail keywords (such as: Luxury 7 bedroom Villa Barbados ) that are receiving any local or global searches, it seems that there are only extremely competitive keywords receiving traffic. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can find effective keywords? With this type of website is it really as likely to be able to rank high due to the pure amount of keyword competition? I would really appreciate any help given as i am really struggling with my keyword research 😞 Thank you very much!!

How to Choose the Best Keywords for a Website

I am working with an insurance agency that wants to target the below types of insurance in Dalton GA, Ringold GA, Chattanooga TN and and/or Georgia. Home Insurance
Auto Insurance
Health Insurance
Life Insurance
Restaurant Insurance
Contractor Insurance They are a new agency that doesn't have a website yet and only a small online marketing budget. Right now, I'm starting to work with them on their new site and want to make sure the on-site SEO works with the insurance/locations they want to target. What I'm having trouble with is the volume of monthly searches and trying to find keywords that they could realistically get some traffic and leads from. Most of the keywords I check with the Adwords tool are less than 50 exact match searches or just show a dash. The only keywords with a decent amount of exact searches are the main insurance types like "restaurant insurance" or "home insurance Georgia". How can I get an idea of the number of leads and amount of traffic this site might get when most of the keywords searched for only a handful of times per month? I can build the site to easily target all the above types of insurance in Dalton, GA, which has a population of about 33,000, but I don't know what kind of results this agency might expect if they were to rank in the top 3 spots. Thanks in advance for any ideas or advice!

How does SEOmoz account for articles (a, the) and transitions (in, on) in keywords?

For instance, if I want to track traffic for a sports memorabilia store in Miami, and I only have "sports memorabilia shop Miami" as a keyword to track, will it track traffic of people who visited the shop's site after searching for "sports memorabilia shop IN miami"? Or would I have to use both "sports memorabilia shop Miami" AND "sports memorabilia in Miami"? I know Google doesn't show results with "in", "and", "the", etc., but Google Analytics tracks them, so I'm curious about how SEOmoz does it. Thanks in advance.

Google keyword rankings

I show a MON icon (it looks like a calendar page) for all my google rankings. The icon is not clickable. Can anybody tell me what this is? Also, I use to be highly ranked in 100's of keywords in google now barely anything. The domain is several years old and has performed in well in the past. Can't figure out what is going on.

Keywords in google's webmaster tools

how heavily do the list of keywords in google's webmaster tools reflect your ranking for those keywords? For example see this screenshot: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/39497/Screen shot 2011-06-04 at 7.22.31 PM.png we are a self storage company, and our first two keywords in google's webmaster tools are storage and self. the problem is nobody searches for self storage (from my keyword research). most people search for "storage +cityname" like "storage toronto" for example. so i guess my question would be this: would it be effective to change all the instances of "Self" on our website to "Toronto" or other city names to try to push the city names higher in google's webmaster tools keywords rank?
