Error Message on Moz Crawler
-
Hi all,
Just ran into this issue, when analysing this site. Just got this message when using MOZ "Page Optimisation Error". Anyone know why?
It seems to be working fine on other SEO analyser tools.
Website is: www.sbpcreativemedia.com.au
Thanks in advance!

Hi there,
Jo again from the Moz help team.
I'm afraid we're still getting a 520 error when we try to access your robots.txt.
In oder to investigate this further I wonder if you could please ask your website administrator or host for a copy of your server logs so we can see how your server is responding to rogerbot.
Please send your server logs to help@moz.com.
Cheers!

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
It looks like we encountered a 520 error when we tried to crawl your site, if you check the Site Crawl tab in your Moz Pro Campaign you'll see that we were not able to access your robots.txt at the time of the crawl.
I'm going to kick off a recrawl at my end to see if this was an intermittent error and we can go from there.
Thanks for bearing with me!
Jo

Why are recently deleted pages still appearing in the latest MOZ crawl?
Newbie, so please forgive!! OK, so I'm doing my 1st site optimization. It is reporting errors from pages that were deleted a couple of days ago. And I JUST signed up today. Where is this info coming from? Thanks, Billy

Inbound links not found in Moz Pro(though they exist)
These sites have many inbound links but Moz Pro finds no such links. I also used SimilarWebPro Trial to confirm the existing of such links. (these sites have IP block so it requires an VPN to access with Japan IP) osakado.cc

oskd.biz Could anyone figure out why Moz can't find those links to those sites? Any tricks in place to hide those links from SeoMoz? If I pay to upgrade SimilarWebPro but Id rather stay with SeoMoz Pro. thanks in advance.0 -
Fastest way to get new backlinks recognised by Moz?
Hi all, I have seen a few discussions / advice pieces around this, but wondered what the current view is on the fastest way to get new backlinks recognised by Moz? I have seen people say that the content needs to be shared (e.g. on Twitter), and advice around creating Bitly links. I am not convinced that these techniques are working. On a related note, my website is very large. I have around 2.5m pages. Most of these pages are 3-4 clicks from the home page, but I have a small amount of important content much higher up in the site (1-2 clicks from the home page). Does Moz crawl pages nearer the home page more frequently, or does it make a pass of all pages on the site before it starts at the beginning again? If it makes a complete pass of all pages, then presumably making my site smaller will help to get Moz to see new content more quickly? Is there any other value to be gained in making a large site smaller? Many thanks in advance, Neil.

Confused about the link metrics showing up in MOZ & OSE
For my campaign "itelligence Applications" which is for site itelligencegroup.com/uk/ - MOZ seems to be giving me different stats on links, depending on which tab I look it in the Link Analysis section. Then when I look at OSE, the numbers are totally different again, not just a little bit different. Example: In MOZ Link Analysis, on the "inbound links" tab, it says there are 129 Root Domains and 6832 Total External Inbound Links. If I then look at the Competitive Metrics screen, it says there are 46,284 external followed links and 240 total linking root domains. If I then go to OSE for the same site, it says there are 14 Root Domains and 686 total links. I have no idea why these numbers vary so much or how to even report them to my client. Am I missing something here? Any help would be gratefully received! Maureen

Why does the number of the total external links and the followed linking root domains between Open site explorer and the campaign in Moz pro doesn't match?
Opensiteexplorer returns 52.473 total external links and 715 followed linking root domains while my campaign in Moz analytics return 35.899 total external links and 1092 followed linking root domains. Does anyone knows how this is possible?

What if all the URL's in my website reported by MoZ do not exist on my website? They existed on an old one that has now been rebuilt?
What if all the top URL's report by Moz in my website do not exist on my website? They only existed on an older website? The only exception in the homepage
