Hi Guys

So we manage a client website doing their seo and ppc

The site has become a success so the client has now asked if we would like to create our own site and become an affiliate of theirs

The idea is target the same set of keywords etc.

My question is - in the world of google is this ok? I know about google penalising same business owners for having two websites targeting the same keyword....

But in this case - the websites are owned by different owners, different hosting, different domain ownership, different analytics code, different code development, different about us

Everything is different but I am just a little paranoid that google knows we SEO the clients website

Does anyone have any advice?

Hello! I am looking at a site that has its site name displayed incorrectly in the SERPS. The site name is showing as a company from the airline industry while the site in question provides hypnotherapy services. This issue is on every page except the homepage. I have checked source code and the structured data. Local business structured data with the correct company name - I can't find anything at all in the source code that refers to this random airline! How to get more keyword ideas

I am trying to get more keyword ideas for one of my project. For example the seed keyword is computer virus and the results which i get is keywords related to the phrase computer virus such as virus in computer , virus threats but actually i am trying to get search details on actual threat names or types of viruses and i expect output such as malware, trojan etc.. ( Currently using ad words keyword planner to fetch keyword data ) Is there any way to achieve this ? Even if i use "types of computer viruses" as seed keyword i am not getting the types of viruses people searching for instead i get keywords ideas such as computer viruses, computer threats etc... ? Can somebody suggest a solution ?

Merging B2B site with B2C site

Hi, A mobile phone accessory client of ours has a retail site (B2C) and a trade site (B2B). The retail site does pretty well and ranks highly for a number of terms. The trade site doesn't really rank for anything as they don't optimise it. They would like to merge the two sites and allow trade customers to log-in and purchase goods in bulk for their business. If they were to merge the trade site into the already successful consumer site, what would be the best way of doing this and what, if any, implications would it have on the organic visibility of the B2C site? Would it be possible to target retail and trade customers on one website? Cheers, Lewis

My website is ranking well on most of keywords. How do I find more keywords in order to drive more traffic to my website?

I have a website which is ranking well on some good keywords ie generic and long tail. It is also ranking for some really competitive keywords. and now getting constant traffic. I want to increase organic traffic to my website. What are the best possible ways to do this? How to research more keywords and how to identify that they will really work? Please help, I am confused.

Why does this site rank above us?

We own www.discountbannerprinting.co.uk and over the last 8 months have built some decent guest post, charity and customer links but still we seem to be beaten on good words such as banners, banner, vinyl banner, pvc banner etc by this website www-signfirm.com we just cannot figure out how this is happening and would be very grateful if someone with great wisdom could give us an in-site into why this is happening and we would be very grateful..

Has my site been penalized?

Our site was listed on the first page for the phrase Active SEO on Google.co.uk. We suddenly find ourselves on page 4 overnight and we're not sure what's going on. We have not undertaken an Black hat techniques however the site is fairly new. Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

Creating new pages for geo targeted keywords

What's the best way to go about creating new pages for geo targeted keywords for a business? I ask because, these keywords are areas that they provide service to, but the brick and mortar business is not located. I've already run into problems trying to put too many locations onto one page. What's the best way to attack content for these new pages in order to get these geo keywords in there?
