Where is the Spam Analysis tool?
-
Hi, reading the Article Spam Score: Moz's New Metric to Measure Penalization Risk I became curious about the mentioned Spam Analysis tool:
Right now, you can find Spam Score inside Open Site Explorer, both in the top metrics (just below domain/page authority) and in its own tab labeled "Spam Analysis."
I could find the Spam score of my site within the link explorer but I could not find the Spam Analysis tool that checks the 17 key indications that a site might be a spam site.
I am also a Free Trial subscriber right now.
Where can I find the Spam Analysis tool?

Hi Georg!
Not a problem! Moz's Spam Score is the percentage of sites with similar features we've found to be penalized or banned by Google (it's not based on the spam score of the sites linking to you). To improve this score I would recommend reading our guide which explains the 27 factors used to make up this score (we don't identify which ones specifically are affecting your site within the UI). You can then look at your site and investigate areas you would like to improve on your site:

Sorry about the confusion there! The Spam Analysis tool was part of Open Site Explorer, and Open Site Explorer has been retired and replaced with Link Explorer and Link Explorer's Spam Score section. Instead of seeing the number of flags, you now see a percentage number - you can read more about this here: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/spam-score

Dear Sam,
thanks a lot for your reply!
The thing is: I'm not only curious how much "spammy" my site it – but also why it is.
This is why I got interested in this list of factors, as can be seen here in the picture of the above mentioned blog post. Having such a list of factors that apply to my site I would know what I could do to improve.
Is there any way to get this list for my site?
Best,

Competitive Analysis
Ok I've installed a few tools over the past week but I'm pretty sure at one time in MozPro I entered three competitor's domains and a list of KWs and it showed our ranking vs theirs for Google and Bing. I cannot for the life of me figure out how I did it or how I see the data. Is this going to be in one the reports that comes out every Tuesday (haven't gotten my first one yet)? Sorry for the newbie question. I've been tearing my hair out, searched the forum real quick and didn't see it. It's late and I want to wake up and be productive. Thanks all!
