I want to know about link building strategy and does it matter the amount of times someone clicks on link on to your site from the external site to affect your domain authority

In my experience it doesn't from an SEO perspective/DA perspective. The additional traffic will help in other ways! I hope that helps!

Links from non existant sites?

Hi! I'm new at all this 🙂 I've taken a look at the backlink profile for one of my sites as it's seems its been hit by this last Penguin update. I'm finding links to my homepage from sites that no longer exist, like this one: http://mikimoto-pearls.org - does this hurt my backlink? I mean, I would figure it does since there's nothing there? If so, how do I get the link removed? Do I even need to? Disavow tool maybe? Thank you!

Link building external trusted help out there?

Hi there guys and Girls, I am a newbie to the seo world but learning quickly. Unhappy with seo services offered for startups I have taken on the role myself for my website. I think so much of what can be learnt online here I can implement myself with a few hours of work each week. So my dilemma! I have lots of ideas of for content which i know will be valuable and I was considering outsourcing just for link building (the long haul work) The trouble is I am wary of who to use and if such service is out there? I have tried searching on o'desk and freelancer etc but I guess i am too frightened of spammy links or postings on irrelevant sites. I guess initially I am looking for someone who can help my link building campaign whilst I build up my own blogging contacts etc. Does anyone know if these types of services exist? and if any are recommended for small companies? Creating your own blog for back linking to your site

Our competitor seems to be linked to a blog that they have created themselves. From an SEO perspective is it worthwhile creating a blog that is related to your particular industry and then only including links back to your site. Also is there any way to upload ,articles etc automatically to the blog to cut down on the people hours involved in updating content?

Domain Authority and nofollow links?

Hello, I'm wondering, are 'nofollow' links from websites with high domain authority beneficial? Would they boost our own DA? In essence, I'm wondering if there is added value (other than visitors clicking the link) to being linked to by a 'nofollow' link. Thanks!

OSE - why are some external links not showing up?

We use PRWeb for our press releases and carefully choose the anchor text with a link back to our site at metrix.com. This year, we've put out about 8 releases, all with these links included. However, when I drill down to prweb.com in Open Site Explorer, I'm only seeing one link coming from one of those releases. It is definitely an external, followed link when I highlight the releases with MozBar, and I don't see any other differences that would help explain this. Can anyone explain why these links aren't showing up? Thank you.

Question about forwarding domains and link juice

We currently have a domain that has a small amount of inbound links: http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/www.1800wecoach.com/a!links We decided to switch over to a different domain name, which currently has 0 inbound links. What we were wondering is which would be better: link to the new domain from the old domain in a prominent location on all pages. or forward the old domain to the new domain? does forwarding a domain pass linkjuice?
