Internal Website Linking from Syndicated Blog Posts

Does it help, hurt, or do nothing for my website's SEO if I do internal linking from syndicated blog posts (on my blog) to my website pages?
For example, a syndicated blog post on winterizing your house has instances of "homeowners insurance" linking to my webpage on homeowners insurance.
Proper canonicalization is done as well.

It depends, if the links are topical and flow naturally in the content then they should help.
If they are spammy and not related at all to the content, then I would think they will be ignored at best.
Internal links help show Google etc. which pages you believe to be the most important on your site, that doesn't mean you should include lots of spammy links on your pages though.
More internal links pointing to a page that is topical and relevant to the content is the best way.

Do a bunch of footer internal links help or hurt?
We are an ecommerce site... In days gone by, having a bunch of footer links with your top products / categories was a good idea - as it created a ton of internal links to these products. Now, I am hearing that those links "dilute" the value of our other links on a page - and essentially, there is more harm than good from these. Question Re Cornerestone Page And Anchor Text For Internal/External Links
Suppose I create a cornerstone page with the targeted keyword "Dog Collars". I write a dozen articles on various dog collars and point a link from each article to my cornerstone page. Should the anchor text for the links from each of those articles to the cornerstone page be "Dog Collars" or should they vary, but still be relevant to "Dog Collars" for best SEO? Should half of them be "Dog Collars" and the other half various? Also, if I have 12 articles and all of the anchor text is already "Dog Collars", should I go back and change them so that they all don't say the same thing? Should i nofollow outgoing links on posts
Hello, on my blog i don't nofollow the outgoing links inside roundups like : http://www.designzzz.com/extreme-demos-html5-jquery/ a friend of mine suggest me to nofollow all out going links in such postings. he added that it will help increase posts PRs and better search rankings. Any thoughts? cheers

Why DoFollow & NoFollow Attributes on Same Internal Text Links?
I want to know that, why SEOmoz have defined DoFollow & NoFollow attributes on same internal text links? Please, find out attachment to know more. Left bar have On-Page / Site Optimization link with dofollow attribute but, right section have nofollow. Is anchor text link juice passed in internal links?
Let's say I have www.bobswidgets.com. If I have "widgets for sale in tuscon arizona' be the anchor text on an internal link on www.bobswidgets.com/page1 which goes to www.bobswidgets.com/page2 - does the value of the anchor text (widgets for sale in tuscon arizona) get passed internally? External links pass the value of the anchor text but do internal links?

Internal Links - more the merrier?
I have just recently spoken to an SEO consultant who is pushing the opinion that more internal links would be better for me. They are particularly focused oin aligning a large number of content articles that I have developed over the years, and getting more keyword focus, and more links (inpage within site) onto these pages. I have to agree on a certain level that maybe this large base of unique content is unedr utilised. What is the general opinon, more internal links are better?
