Mobile Search Visibility Has Fallen Significantly in Recent Weeks
-
I checked my MOZ account last week to find that my site's Mobile Search Visibility has dropped pretty significantly 4 weeks after an algorithm update. It has ticked back up some but after weeks and weeks of steady position, it fell. I thought the latest update had affected the visibility but I'm not sure that is the case.
One of our competitors ironically jumped UP in Mobile Visibility about as equally as my site has fallen. I've attached a screenshot of the MSV graph. My site is plotted in BLUE and our competition is plotted in PURPLE.
Does anyone have a explanation or potential reason?

There's a lot that could explain the change.
I would look at all the competitors websites in your industry, not just one. Try to find a common trend between the ones that went up and the ones that may have gone down.
Also use tools such as google optimize and web.dv measure to compare the two websites.
Lastly, take a look your on-page analytics from GA for mobile in the past 3 months and see if there is a significant decrease or an anomaly in how users are interacting with your website.
All of these can be factors that may have been there all along and simply amplified by the algorithm update.
Once you pinpoint the cause, it will be much easier to fix.
Good luck!

Increase in Rankings, but search visibility is decreasing
I just started updating my site with the very basics, focus keyword, meta description, and page titles. I see that I am going up in my targeted keywords, however my search visibility has dropped from 3.34% to 2.78%. My assumption is that my keyword choice is a little off, however I see that I have increased in keyword rankings and dropped very little in what I was ranking for previously, plus the keyword volume seems relatively the same. In fact I've added far more keywords than I have dropped. Curious why my search visibility has dropped, however my keyword rankings only seem to increase.

MOZ not accepting recent changes
We have made some changes on our website according to the SEO standards per Moz report and did some crawler tests but it seems that MOZ is not crawling our recent changes. It is showing the results according to the previous data. What can be the problem here?

Bing Search volume 0 is this good or bad?
So this might be a stupid question, but that whole no such thing as a stupid questions applies here. I am trying to narrow down keywords for title tags and on page optimization. I am focusing on my local, instate SEO only. So no nationwide searches, just local. When I add in my state, so Colorado then keyword It shows 0 matches. When I add Keyword then Colorado a few matches But there is a difficulty rating of 30% or so. Would this mean that it would be good to go after this? or bad because no one searches for my term? Then when I add my keyword, and no state, 6000 matches. But would this mean everyone and there brother is going after it? So unless you are a big brand, stay away? Thank you for your help. I am just trying to make sure I am using it right. Chris

Duplicate Errors found in my search
I have run my 1st site check with SEOMOZ and have 4000+ errors. The "duplicate Page Content" culprit appears to be a extended url that keeps showing as duplicating. This is only a customer log-in and can be redirected back to the main cust log in page, but is there a short way of doing it (rather than 4000x 301's)? The format of the url is: http://www.????.com.au/default/customer/account/login/referer/aSR0cDovL3d3dy1234YWNiYW Thanks

How Can I View Last Week's Page Grading?
How can I see all my on-page grading reports for page grading optimization that decreased for the worse from last week - so as to know which pages to fix? My mozpro email report indicates only ten of them decreased from Grad B to C etc from last week. As I have just migrated to a new cms, I need to find and bring back to grade all effected pages. I can't find how to view historical page grades - just for last weeks. Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

Why does SEO Moz say we are ranked lower than appears on Google Searches?
We are currently ranked 18th for the Sydney Vet keyword in SEO Moz ranking tools, however in organic Google search we are ranked third. This search was conducted without Googles personalised results feature. Is this just an error? Or does it have something to do with Google Places not being counted in SEO Moz ranking tools? Any help would be much appreciated.

A question about Mozbot and a recent crawl on our website.
Hi All, Rogerbot has been reporting errors on our website's for over a year now, and we correct the issues as soon as they are reported. However I have 2 questions regarding the recent crawl report we got on the 8th. 1.) Pages with a "no-index" tag are being crawled by roger and are being reported as duplicate page content errors. I can ignore these as google doesnt see these pages, but surely roger should ignore pages with "no-index" instructions as well? Also, these errors wont go away in our campaign until Roger ignores the URL's. 2.) What bugs me most is that resource pages that have been around for about 6 months have only just been reported as being duplicate content. Our weekly crawls have never picked up these resources pages as being a problem, why now all of a sudden? (Makes me wonder how extensive each crawl is?) Anyone else had a similar problem? Regards GREG

How to rank each page correctly in the search engines
Hello everyone, I am new to SEOmoz and SEO in general. I am trying to wrap my head around everything and one of the issues I am having trouble grasping is how each individual page on our website plays into ranking for certain keywords. I will explain in more detail below: 1.) We are not a blog, we have a pretty static website. 2.) We can add as many pages to our website as needed (for SEO purposes) 3.) Our site is fairly small, about 25 pages on the website. Now with that information above, here are our main questions & concerns: 1.) What is the best way to rank in the search engines for 50 of our best converting keywords with only 25 pages on our website? 2.) We have 2-3 competitors that rank in positions 1-3 for about 30 of our keywords we are trying to rank for. But no matter what you type in, for example, "cars" "buy cars" "buy a car online" "truck prices" etc, the results that the search engines display our their homepages. Not the other pages on their websites that actually rank for each one of those individual keywords. Is this normal? That is something that we would like for our rankings to do if we have any control over it. 3.) Should each page try to rank for a unique individual keyword? For example, when using the SEOmoz On-page Optimization tool, should I try ranking 2 pages for "buy cars online" or just 1 page? Say my homepage has an "A" grade for the keyword, "buy cars online" but so does my second page on my website. Are these pages essentially competing with each other? Or will the search engines pick their favorite page and display the one they like the best? Any help is greatly appreciated and I look forward to getting this cleared up. Thanks
