Is Moz more accurate than Ahrefs ?
-
When I check my this website https://joinpakarmy.com.pk/ on Moz it gives me DA 3
But when I check it out on Ahrefs, it tells me there is no authority for this site.
So who is more accurate in the result?
thanks -
Hi - thanks for reaching out.
One thing to keep in mind is the data we collect in our index will vary from what they collect in there's. If you are seeing data in Link Explorer but not in their tools, most likely this is because we have data around your site, and they do not.
We hope that helps, let us know if you have further questions we can assist with.

Actually, even Google folks don't really know how exactly the algorithm works, all due to machine learning.

Take into account that, both MOZ and A hrefs have the tendency to still list links while being removed for a while.
Really these numbers dont mean alot in comparison to google. Both are not asociated with google but do their own maths or calculation on how to summerize it's DA/PA. What google does is litterally a mystery for everyone except for who works at google obviously.

Hi there,
Well, It's not about which tool is more accurate.
MOZ and Ahrefs are using completely different ways of calculating DA and DR, therefore, scores will be different.
If you check your URL, you can also see that MOZ reports 19 domains and 53 backlinks, while Ahrefs reports 45 domains and 134 backlinks.
Ahrefs has much bigger index, so, technically, Ahrefs is more "accurate". The way I distinguish Ahrefs vs MOZ's indexes is that MOZ shows "important" backlinks, and Ahrefs shows everything.
Here is a link to MOZ's description of DA: https://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority
Here is Ahrefs' DR: https://ahrefs.com/blog/dr-score/
Hope this helps.

Moz Crawler Causing Server Timeouts... Crawling thousands of non-existant pages with query parameters
Moz crawler is crawling all pages like this: http://www.xxxx.com/?product_count=100&product_order=desc&product_orderby=date http://www.xxxx.com/?product_count=100&product_order=desc&paged=1 http://www.xxx.com/?product_count=100&product_order=desc&product_view=grid Last month it crawled 80,000 pages on a site with less than 100 pages. Is there a way to select only certain pages to be crawled? Right now it is still crawling this site, since Monday morning and it's Tuesday mid-day. Every Monday it is causing time-outs from high band width on our server. Just getting ready to delete this client from the account unless there is a solution someone can give us. Thanks.

Moz keyword mention on-page counting errors
Hi. Moz is showing 18 mentions of the keyword 'street furniture' on this landing page https://www.broxap.com/street-furniture.html But I can only count 6 in total in the body copy and 13 if you include navigation links. This is the same on other pages too for that keyword. Does anyone know where it's counting these extra keywords from? I don't want to fall foul of keyword stuffing but as far as I can see we're not! Could Moz be miscalculating? Any help appreciated! Thanks Joe

MOZ crawler 404 errors on wordpress
Hi all, I've got hundreds of issues coming up on the MOZ crawler with 404 errors, I don't know what these URL's are. Here's a couple of examples; http://www.theswagbagco.co.uk/category/watford/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.theswagbagco.co.uk%2F2015%2F10%2F15%2Fnew-products-2%2F

How non-US Moz customers will use Keyword Explorer after the Keyword Difficulty tool is retired?
The new Moz Keyword Explorer looks good but its search volume is US based and completely useless for non-US websites. This is from Rand's post: "while the tool can search any Google domain in any country, the volume numbers will always be for US-volume. In the future, we hope to add volume data for other geos as well." In the Keyword Difficulty tool, Moz shows Google search volume data, which is similar to what I see in the Google Keyword Planner and Google Search Console. For example, keyword X in the Australian search market has 6-7k searches in the Google Keyword Planner and 8k searches in Moz. The very same keyword has 118k-300k search volume in the new Keyword Explorer! Obviously this new search volume is not useful in the Australian market. I often used the Keyword Difficulty tool to identify new keyword opportunities but what can I do to complete the same tasks after they retire the tool?

Moz.com Report a Problem or Provide Feedback
Two things. First, I could not find exactly where to report an issue or provide feedback about the website. I don't need to contact about Moz Analytics or any other products. I just want to provide feedback about the Moz Blog. I think it would be nice to be able to report an issue or provide feedback to "Roger" and have that item sent to the appropriate department for review. A lot of websites tend to use "webmaster@example.com" for this, but anything would work. My suggestion is to offer a feedback form on the Contact Moz page. Second, the issue I wanted to report has to do with blog comments. I left a comment early this morning and, with me being on Central Time and the timestamp for comments using Seattle local time, I was surprised to see that my comment had been posted "2 hours ago" immediately after I clicked "Submit." I presume this text is dynamic and that, in Seattle, you see "seconds ago" or something but, being in Wisconsin, I see "2 hours ago." This is confusing mainly because I have no idea how long ago other comments may have been posted. P.S. There isn't a question category for the Moz Blogs so I am choosing Moz - Other Research Tools. I view the blogs as a Product Moz provides so maybe adding "Moz - Blogs" to the Moz Product Help list of categories would be appropriate.
