One of our clients ran a crawl report via Moz. These are the results. Can you please help us make sense of this? (I am a SCORE volunteer and we are working with a company that is trying to decide on how to proceed with an SEO company but would like to understand the process somewhat so they can make a better decision on who to hire. )

Can someone breakdown the importance

missing description- 934 total

missing canonical tags- 574 total

title too long - 199 total

duplicate content 74 total

url too long - 63 total

missing or invalid h1- 55 total

duplicate titles- 21 total

When you click on facebook post of Moz, the URL is domain is : MZ.CM ans after 301 to moz.com/article... Why ? Thanks

Copying & Pasting the Moz Glossary onto my site.. is this white hat or black hat?

Hi, I run a small business writing optimised content for small businesses in Melbourne. I want to add a Glossary page to my website that lists all of the different words associated with website marketing and SEO. I found the Moz glossary and I am wondering if it would be a bad idea to copy and paste the list straight into a page on my site. I'd prefer to not have to reword all of the descriptions as it will take me ages and I don't want to compromise the information in the descriptions. Does aggregating content hurt your moz / google rank?

I have a news section on my site that I aggregate from multiple RSS feeds. They are stored on my site and I have sitemap that links to them. Is this a negative thing to do? Since its overall duplicate content to another site, it may be a strike against me. Should I just leave it as an updating feed and not keep the articles visible on my site?

Users reporting that there is a virus on my site.

A few months ago I found out that someone had hacked my site and placed malicious code and modified my .htaccess. I am pretty certain that I have cleared up all of the bad code (within 12 hours of it being infected). Yet, I am getting people telling me that their virus checker is warning them of a trojan on my site. Is there anything that can be done? I have no malware warnings in my Webmaster Tools. The site currently has 2 articles that are going viral and I'd hate for that to be screwed up by a stupid virus!

Is it ok to add the SEO Moz logo to the homepage of your website ? Site structure question

I'm doing a site that will have many many pages.
Now I have heard that you get more seo value if its a lower tear so for example: site.com/product rather than site.com/brand/subbrand/product Is this correct? Should I structure my site like this? site.com/product
site.com/brand points to site.com/product (so all products are on the sub root.) Does that make sense?

Question about Google News Sitemap

I'm submitting my site to Google News, have a few questions for creating my sitemap. The majority of my articles (800) are in a category called 'Disability News' (which is one of my main keywords). Around half of these posts are we're automated RSS feed posts (first 200 words of an article directly copied with a link thru to the original). The past few weeks I've been posting tons of unique content so I was thinking about moving all duplicate content into a category called 'Syndicated News' and excluding that from my Google News sitemap. Is this advisable? or should I just leave it as is?
