Hello people ,
I have a site for my fireplaces store , but i get alot of spammers messages in conact form , how do I can prevent from this spammers sending me messages ? -
I have my website which has a spam score over 50% but I created almost 50 plus unique and high authority backlinks with a spam score below 5%. After doing this my website spam score went down to 4% from 61%. So, do this and you will solve your issue like I did that.

A score of 1%-30% is considered a Low Spam Score. A score of 31%-60% is considered a Medium Spam Score. A score of 61%-100% is considered click test a High Spam Score. A high Spam Score for your site, or a site you're looking at, doesn't mean this site is necessarily spammy.
When Moz analyzes your site, they look for a wide range of attributes, including those 27 spam signals. The more of these attributes your site has, the higher your spam score will be. You can access your spam score in Moz's Link Explorer, where it will show a percentage from 1 to 100. -
@swati26011089 said in reduce spamscore:
There are many ways to reduce spamscore on your website. A few of these methods include:
-
Implementing CAPTCHA, which is a type of test that requires the user to input a word or phrase that is only visible in an image. This can be done by using Google's reCAPTCHA service and implementing it on your website.
-
Implementing Akismet, which is also a type of spam filter. It uses machine learning to identify and stop spam messages from reaching your inbox, comment feeds, or blogs and social media posts.
-
Implementing trackbacks, which are messages sent from one blog to another blog with the intent of notifying the other blog that they have linked to them.
Great information

I have also 3 spam score on my website but I do not worry about it spam score is nothing more than a number

Agreed with @pau4ner - you should walk through all the spam signals and fix what you can. It sucks that some of the spam signals Moz has chosen can be bad (in other ways like adverse to pagespeed) to implement, like having a custom font - if not needed this slows your site and reduces your pagespeed - so to have to add a custom font just to please Moz's spam score is unfortunate - but if you want to improve your score - implement the 27 factors listed at the link @pau4ner gave. Also note they only update it quarterly, so even after fixing your site you might be in for a good wait to see an update.
What is further annoying is that even if you are in the low spam range at say 24% (e.g. my site atm: https://discoverquotes.com) still.. most webmasters see 24% and think that is a lot - so they won't link to my site. Moz's Spam Score is hurting me unfairly, IMHO, because my site is not spammy, and because many of the 27 items - things they feel you should have like custom font and linked in and ad scripts and google analytics scripts - all those things adversely affect page speed. So you can have a fast site, or comply with Moz's spam score requirements, but doing both is a challenge.

Hi, also facing the same issue on my newly created website: hdstockimages.com
-
Do some off-page link building with a 1% spam score or less with a high DA and DR website. And wait for the results. We have a client, and I found this particular page got spam on this URL.
https://www.cash4carremovalsydney.com.au/services/accident-car-removals/
We created a backlink with less than 1% spam link building and also, checked for help with already submitted website owners to remove the link, as we found those websites creating spam.
Try not to use many ugc blog commenting sites, as they create spam and non-quality backlinks. -

@serktba seriously man 2% spam score is not bad but for the future point of view create backlinks only low spam score websites.
-
2% spamscore is not that bad, honestly. Also take into account this is a Moz metric which may have no influence on your website's SEO results, although it helps as a reference.
Spamscore is tipically correlated with some features of your website or its external links, such as having low content published, tipically spammy TLDs, high backlink to content ratio, no GSC integration, etc. You can see all this factors here: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/spam-score#spam-score-signals
As you publish content and correct this issues spam score should decrease, although again it is not something I would worry about.

How i can Reduce Spam score of my website
Hi everyone, I'm reaching out to the community for some advice on improving my website's spam score. I've been using the Moz Spam Score Checker and my website, sngplbill.pk, currently has a score of 7%. While this isn't exceptionally high, I'd like to take steps to bring it down as low as possible, ideally under 1%. One factor I've identified that might be contributing to this score is a number of backlinks pointing to my site has a much higher spam score (over 80%). (screenshot attached)sngplbillscore I'm wondering if the community has any recommendations for how to address this situation. Here are some specific questions I have: Does disavowing the backlinks from spamy site seem like the best course of action?

Unsolved Looking for someone from Moz to comment on unrealistic spam score
Two years ago I bought domain name aroundtheworldwithme.com as a travel blog. I built the site up slowly and currently have a DA of 28 with decent Google search results. However, according to Moz my spam score is 43%. I am convinced that something funny is going on to give me this spam score. I have gone though all 27 factors that play into the spam score in great detail. I only fail a few of the checks. These are the Double Click Tag, LinkedIn profile, phone number, email, and Facebook Pixel. Which as far as I know, literally zero travel blog websites provide this info. So I am on par with evert other travel blog website. Now I know Moz will say this "doesn't mean your website is spam, just that our algorithm found that websites with similar attributes are spam." But this is completely bogus. All similar websites to mine have spam scores of 1-2%. All other websites I see with spam scores over 40% are literally spam websites. Why am I literally the only legitimate travel blog site that has a spam score over 40%? My backlink profile is similar to all other travel blogs. I actually have less spammy links as most, as I haven't been around too long. So I don't think my backlinks are causing the high spam score. The only thing I can think of is that my domain name used to be owned by someone else. I have a lot of backlinks from a random blog website that were discovered in 2018, three years before I bought the domain. Is it possible that the domain used to be an actual spam site name and I am now being punished for that? If not, then I cannot think of anything that would cause my high spam score other than fundamental defects in the Moz spam score algorithm. Something is going on, and I'd love someone from Moz to actually be able to have a look at my website and tell me why I have such a high spam score. I know Google doesn't care about Moz's spam score (thankfully) but other websites don't want links from me due to my completely bogus spam score. Thanks everyone
