I am hoping this is the right forum to ask this question. But, I was looking at my backlinks and noticed that I had some go to a page that resembles my site, but had porn words on it. however, it would link to a place on my site. Under more information it has a real link to my site. What is this? I noticed the domain authority was in I believe the 70's; but PA was in 40's. I am new, so can someone explain this. Thank you.

Well I think that this is something you need to take seriously. Linking from or to porn would most likely get you into SEO problems. I have heard that there are malicious competitors who do that type of thing. I would advise that you do a Google Disavow for the links coming from these porn sites. Please be in the know that SEO experts warn against over using the tool. If you are not familiar with the Disavow tool. I hope it helps and good luck.

@Fashion22 Someone might have been trying to link your website on porn for negative SEO, you can just list the URLs and disavow them in your search console.

How To Encourage Google To Discover Links?
I got a valuable backlink from a high authority website (MSN), but the link is placed in the middle of a slideshow with 20 pictures, and the only way to reach it is by clicking through the slideshow. After 6 months, this link still hasn't been noticed by Moz or Semrush, and I assume Google hasn't seen it either, because it's in the middle of a slideshow. Is there any way to encourage Google to find this link? Or am I all out of luck?

Why doesn't Moz crawl whole pages of our website to report All On-Page issues?
Hi friends & mozzers, How can't Moz crawl whole pages of our website: https://www.4atvtires.com/ to report All Serious On-Page issues. We have more than 15000 product pages. And how could it be possible that Moz isn't able to crawl whole, just got crawl report upto 258 pages of our website, and also I can experience the same in Google webmaster ?? Half of my backlinks just disappeared!
I was just starting to feel like I was getting traction and all of a sudden half of our external backlinks just disappeared! Over the past 4 months we've taken our total external links from about 2500 to 6500 and with the lastest report, we seem to have lost more than half and are now around 2100. Our domain authority has dropped accordingly too. I realize that backlinks aren't forever but what in the heck could cause you to loose over 4000 in a one month period? eK9w

How often are there enough backlinks
Hello, I'm slowly finding backlinks for our niche site. 90% of the competition is using internal pages so mining competitors is hard. I'm mining sites that are in the backlinks of my competitors. Question: In cases like this, what percentage of the time do you think that it is possible to find enough backlinks to rank in the top 3? For example, is there always enough backlinks to rank high enough? Is there only enough half the time? I know this is a general question but maybe you could try the answer it followed by a statement of "why I gave this answer" Thanks!

Do I need backlinks?
Hi, My theory is yes I do. But the problem I have is a small budget and competitors who have a big one. My problem is we have a small number of external links and linking root domains. But what I need is a big bump in these numbers as my 3 compeitors are pulling in silly numbers such as 308, 7000 and 45000 external followed links. I am using twitter and facebook quite a bit, and seen growth on Twitter go from 40 to 1,350 followers over 7 months. Visits to the site over 7 months have gone up 50% as well. However sales are still looking about 10-15% up on previous year. I need more links coming into the site don't I? And what is the most important part of the Domain Analysis, what shoudl I want to increase first and foremost? Any ideas? Cheers Will0
