Reg. internal followed links
-
Our site is new. So far we have a 534 pages. Our competitors have around 5000. I'm working on building more, but that's a lot of catching up.
The report says we have only 174 internal followed links. Why is that? I have all links set in the site to be nofollow links, but not the inside links.
I also have lots of landing pages, which are not added to the main menu, obviously. But the the main menu shows up on all landing pages.
Just wondering if either the nofollow has anything to do with it or the landing pages set up, or the numbers are accurate.
Any ideas? Thanks!

I haven't heard back and would really like to figure this out. According to Google webmaster tools, the pages are indexed and crawled and I know they come up in the search results. The main menu is linked to the landing pages.
Any reason why you think this may not be showing up in the analytics report? I need to figure out if I need to do something or is it just an error from the analytic tool?

Hello,
Thanks for your answer. I need to add this info to what I wrote above:
Our Page Authority is 76. Our competitors's are 73, 75, 78. We are best at Total linking root domains, Linking C blocks. We need to add both internal links, and incoming external links. That's where we lack as being new.
But I think our pages getting crawled ok. The pages are indexed by Google and we are building links to those landing pages as well. The main menus are located on all landing pages, so the robots can access the landing pages easily by following the main menus.
Also, those landing pages are coming up on the first pages on Google. In Google Webmaster tools it shows around 400 pages are indexed out of 540. Only in SEOMoz, it only shows Internal links 177. Is it SEOMoz that haven't crawled them all and I shouldn't worry about it?

As your site is new, I assume it has not built up much authority yet which will influence how deep your site will be crawled. Also, if you are creating pages (landing) that are not linked to internally then I doubt they are getting any link juice and wont get crawled unless they are getting some decent external links.

Unsolved Is Moz Able to Track Internal Links Per Page?

Spam links with high DA
I'm running through the spam analysis and noticed a few links that are considered to be 9+ on the spam score (high spam level), but some of them have DA of 60 -75. How can this be possible? When I view the sites they appear to be be pretty low quality. If i'm considering disavowing a site should I focus on spam score or DA? A DA of 75 is a pretty reputable standing.

How do Infographics provide links? (example inside)
Hi, I don't get it...
Moz Pro | | BeytzNet
I've encountered the following infographic that seemed to do well: http://www.brilliance.com/4cs-of-diamonds-infograph As you can see, the page has thousands of social shares from Tweets to Facebook and obviously Pinterest. However, when I placed this page on Open Site Explorer (click to view) I see only 9 external links and page authority of 28/100. And this seems to me like a successful infographic. Any explanations? Links don't add up
Sorry if this is obvious, but I'm new to seomoz. I've run an analysis for one of my pages and it's showing 624 total links - 118 internal and 6 external. Why doesn't the sum of the internal and external links equal the total links?

Difference between Webmaster and SEOMoz back-link stats?
Hi there, I just noticed that there are differences between the links to my site showing on my Google Webmaster account and what is showing on my link analysis on SEOMoz. Has anyone noticed this? In webmaster I am showing 857 links to my site from 92 different domains. In SEOMoz I am showing 816 links to my site from 53 total linking root domains and only 39 followed domains? Does anyone know why this there is a difference? Are the links showing in Webmaster all indexed and followed links? Thanks in advance 🙂 Karl

I see an abundance of websites that don't link out at all, and there is no data available to seoMoz for the sites, some like http:// regal - diving dot com (trying not to get moderated AGAIN Innocent need to show which link and its a competitor kind of) are not linking to anyone else just internal links. How come they dont show info to SEOMOZ Should I link out from home page, is this detrimental does ANY single link from home page show google that I am not a PROPER web business. thanks

How can I reduce the number of links on a page and keep the site easy to navigate?
The SEOmoz Site Crawl indicates that we have too many on page links on over 9,970 pages. This is an ecommerce site with a large number of categories. I have a couple of questions regarding this issue: How important is the "too many on page links" factor to SEO? What are some methods of reducing the number of links when there are a large number of categories? We have main categories with dropdown menus currently and have found that they are used to browse and shop the store.
