Pro Dashboard Rankings Report not accurate for the UK?
-
We rank in the top 5 consistently for our keywords on www.google.co.uk
However, the ranking report (set to Google UK) shows that we don't appear in the top 50.
When looking in more detail at the keyword in question, it shows the top ranking sites to be all US sites with .com domains that don't rank at all on google.co.uk.
Can anyone shed some light on this or tell me if there is any way of getting accurate ranking reports via SEOmoz tools for UK sites, so I don't have to do it manually?
Thanks in advance

Thank you for your response, Megan - I can confirm that I'm now seeing UK results for Google UK in my reports. So that's great!
Thanks

Just tested mine in the UK and seem to be correct

I am getting fairly similar results for Google UK and Google US. I haven't noticed anything strange for Germany, France or Spain either, but I have been using the SEOmoz Rank checker for about two months only.

Hi John
I'm not sure - we only target the UK so have never monitored other countries.
-
Heather do you know if this is the same for other EU countries France, germany, Italy?
-
Our UK rankings reports are all incorrect this week as well.
-
Me too - perhaps a staff member can look into this and give us some insight?
-
I am getting this too, it has been happening since the panda update.

Massive Rank Changes in Bing/Yahoo Only - What's up w/ Rank Tracker?
I'll be honest, it's pretty shameful how little attention I give Bing and Yahoo. But something recently caught my eye - I have a client who according to rank tracker is all over the place in yahoo/bing...up 20 positions for some kw's, down 12 for others...meanwhile Google's holding steady, and Google data seems mostly accurate - with one exception of showing 46th position for an exact match branded search that they're #1 for. I know Rank Tracker has been going through some fine tuning, right? I don't manually check Yahoo/Bing - I can't imagine those #'s are accurate though. Am I right to assume it's incorrect data? Just curious, any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks

Rankings Report not working
Hi (What happened to the User Voice feedback in PRO campaign reports? Another cutback because of scalability?) I'm getting sent here for Help on the reports It's Friday morning here in France ; I'm preparing a meeting with a client and as part of this I want their Rankings Report from the campaing I set up for them month's ago Half the keywords are showing up as "SAT" ; the message at the top says "Your keywords are updated weekly on Saturday. The last update was January 26th, 2013" They're not new keywords, if I click on them I get historic data up untill January 19th I'm guessing you had a problem on January 26th but why not put January 19th rankings rather than SAT ? The report is now useless. Here's the url if useful http://pro.seomoz.org/campaigns/54444/rankings Neil

Rank tracker based on personalization or not?
I have been using the rank tracker to update clients on their current positions/improvements etc. but have been told a number of times now that the results they were seeing were not the same. Does the rank tracker work by giving results based off my location or from somewhere else or what? I should mention that I am based in Malta and my clients are based in the UK and Italy (with their sites being optimized for local keywords) I also ask them to clear their browsing history and to restart their browser before they check.

Inbound Links Report Problem
While looking over my competitors inbound link report, they have a reported 5K inbound links. The first 20 listed inbound domains are things like UPS, and other sites that when I look at them, and the source file has no link to their domain at all??? So are they using some kind of Black Hat technique, or is SEOMoz not reporting properly? Help please.

On Page Optimization Reports - Huh?
I've been working hard to use this EXCELLENT tool for optimize some of what I consider my most important pages . . . But the automatic tool that pulls pages and grades them (the "summary" of the "on page" report) . . . I don't get it. It only graded three of my pages, and I don't understand how it chose what keywords to grade it for? I'm just very confused. I don't understand how it chose the pages to grade, not the words it chose to grade it against. 😞
