OSE High Domain Link Total

Why does OSE report such a high domain link total in the SERP overlay underneath each result? I'm looking at at site that I know has about 90 links domain wide and the OSE overlay in SERP reports 610

Thanks Ryan. Makes sense. I should have thought of this. I do filter internal links when using OSE, but for some reason I didn't make that connection on the SERP overlay

Why does OSE report such a high domain link total in the SERP overlay underneath each result?
The tool is including all of your internal links which is skewing the numbers. I haven't looked at the total # of links information is quite some time. I filter it out in the way you might filter out noise in a loud room so you can listen to the person to which you are speaking. Perhaps others can comment as to whether or not they find any value to the total # of links offered by the search extension.
If you look in OSE at "The Garder Advantage" category page you will notice about 20 links. Then check each of the 4 sub-categories from that menu item and each of them have about 20 links. You add them up and it's 100 links right there. If you include all of the internal links for the site and combine that figure with the external links, you should arrive at the 610 figure.
My suggestion is to focus on RDs (linking root domains).

What I'm referencing is when I search Google for gardner controls below the SERP result for the company I see 610 links from 8 domains (for the root domain) on the overlay.

Can you share the URL involved? Or another URL with a similar issue?

How can i extract back link report in OSE of HTTPS domain?
Hello, Recently i was reviewing backlinks of one of the HTTPS domain and was socked to see the difference of backlinks in Majestic SEO and OSE tool. I tried a lot to find the option to explore the backlink of HTTPS domain but i think OSE is not providing that. Can anyone suggest the tool or method to find link report of HTTPS domains? Links (external and total) have significantly decreased in 1 month from August to October - why?
Greetings, After comparing a few stats in one of my campaigns, I noticed that External Followed Links, Total External Links, and Total Links significantly decreased from August 29th to when I just checked them a few days ago (October 3). Any ideas on why this happened? For example, Total External Links went from 50,589 to 39,203. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance! Jenny

How come there are no links to my website according to SEOmoz Competive domain analysis, while in google webmaster i do see links.?
I dont see any links to at all when i do a Competitive Domain Analysis in SEOmoz. However i do see links in google webmaster tools. this strikes me as odd. Also when i use open site exployer my website dont seem te be found. In google im on page 9 on my focus keyword so i do think there are links to my site. How do I find the most linked to page of a site?
I'm looking at a site for a potential link and am trying to find the most linked to page. The SEOmoz toolbar tells me the root domain (DA) is linked to by 660 root domains but the main URL (PA) is linked to by 38 root domains. I used open site explorer and got the same # of 38 root domains in the result. From the Top Pages tab, I clicked on the 2nd page down and the SEOmoz toolbar gives me 189 root domains linking to that page (PA). Then I ran a Linkscape report to see what that would say and I get 146 linking root domains. 1. Is this 2nd page down on OSE the most linked to page? 2. a. Is something off in these numbers?
