Strange Top URLs for Keywords in Google Webmaster Tools
-
When we click on one of our keywords under the keywords section of Google Webmaster Tools it shows our top URLs for that keyword. The problem is that it is giving us some very strange URLs that we have searched high and low to try to find but we don't know where they came from.
Here is a screenshot: http://bit.ly/pl6mB3
Do you know where this type of URL string could have originated and how to fix it?
-
I just don't know. Would you mind putting in the URL to your homepage. I am just going to scan the code for anything unusual. I once had some strange code show up on every page of my group of personal websites. I somehow got hacked. It is a shot in the dark but I don't mind doing a quick scan.
You may also want to post this on the Google Webmaster blog as well. Also, if you do any paid advertising with Google.. ask your account rep.

Clicking on the little box opens up the homepage of our site, for all the strings with numbers in them.
Obviously they are not all representing the homepage, otherwise they wouldn't all show up as different URLs, right?
-
Weird! It looks like an IP address but I can't find any info when I run it in a ip address / domain checker. It also does not resolve in the browser. However, to the left of those mystery URLs is a little box with an arrow in it that takes you to the page... can you click that and tell us what page you get?

How to get google to forget my old but still working page and list my new fully optimized page for a keyword?
Hi There! (i am beginner in seo) I have dynamic and static pages on our site. I created a static page for a specific keyword. Fully optimized it, (h1, alt, metas, etc.....maybe too optimized). My problem is that this page is alive for weeks, checked it in GWT and it is in robots.txt, google sees it, and indexed it. BUT whenewer i do a search for that keyword, we still appear with the dynamically created link in the google listings. How could i "redirect" google, if sy make a search for that keyword than shows our optimized page? Is there a tool for that? I cant delete the dynamic page... Any ideas? Thx Andrew

Ranking on google.com.au but not google.com
Hi there, we (www.refundfx.com.au) rank on google.com.au for some keywords that we target, but we do not rank at all on google.com, is that because we only use a .com.au domain and not a .com domain? We are an Australian company but our customers come from all over the world so we don't want to miss out on the google.com searches. Any help in this regard is appreciated. Thanks.

Does Google pass link juice a page receives if the URL parameter specifies content and has the Crawl setting in Webmaster Tools set to NO?
The page in question receives a lot of quality traffic but is only relevant to a small percent of my users. I want to keep the link juice received from this page but I do not want it to appear in the SERPs.

Having some weird crawl issues in Google Webmaster Tools
I am having a large amount of errors in the not found section that are linked to old urls that haven't been used for 4 years. Some of the ulrs being linked to are not even in the structure that we used to use for urls. Never the less Google is saying they are now 404ing and there are hundreds of them. I know the best way to attack this is to 301 them, but I was wondering why all of these errors would be popping up. I cant find anything in the google index searching for the link in "" and in webmaster tools it shows unavailable as where these are being linked to from. Any help would be awesome!
