Have a site on 173.194.33.51 and site on 173.194.33.52, same server, different IP addresses, same network subnet.

Make one link from site residing on 173.194.33.51 to site on 173.194.33.52
Can this hurt?
Can it be beneficial if site on 173.194.33.55 has good PR?

Not at all. If you know the target site is reputable (i.e. is not likely to be penalized) then leave the link as followed. The primary reason to add nofollow to an external link is to protect yourself from being penalized for linking to a "bad" site.

Would it be better to make it nofollow if the link can bring traffic to the site?

Both URLs share a C-block so Google would likely discount the link. It shouldn't hurt, but it is highly likely it wont help either.
Obtaining IPs on the same server with different C-blocks would be an improvement, but you are moving into the direction of taking actions specifically to manipulate search rankings aka black hat seo.

We're looking at providing SEO for a website that has the majority of its incoming links from websites created solely to provide links. Few have bad spam rankings. How worried should I be about those links?
The majority of incoming links to a prospect's website are from website pages apparently created solely to provide links to the website. Few have high spam scores. The sites linking to the main site have versions of blogs with linked text. They seem to be providing positive SEO value now, but I'm concerned they might get noticed and hurt the main site in the future.

Citation Building et Backlinking: 4 offices with different adresses in different city
Hi there, We work with a client that has 4 offices with different addresses in 3 different cities. Each of them has a different google my business location. I was wondering what would be the best way to build the citations for them, especially if the website has a ''dofollow'' link. Would it be better to build one citation for each locations? That would mean 4 citations from each website. If so, wouldn't google find it suspicious that a backlink comes 4 times from the same domain? OR, would the best be to build only one citation from one selected offices? Other? Thank you in advance for your response,

Does the twitter link shortening service reduce link value (strength).
We have many SEO team members that use Twitters link shortening service, will this reduce the strength or value of the page to be indexed? Guest blogging, guest blogging, guest blogging. Since I started my career as a "brand manager" I've heard the term "guest blogging" at least a million times. So I've put a fair amount of energy into it and for a long time it worked beautifully, still is in many ways. However, in the last month or two nearly every blog I have contacted about guest blogging has said that "due to an increase in guest blogging request we are now charging a fee of x" so on and so forth. Doesn't paying for links put you at great risk for being deindexed? And can't bloggers get in trouble for this as well? Do they not know, not care or think it doesn't apply to them? And if it's a sponsored post, say I send them $100 of free product and pay them $100 to do it, isn't that just hiring someone to talk about my brand? Why would google punish me for that? Anyway around it? Thank you so much! I look forward to your suggestions/advice/criticism.

Can I Gather Inbound Links from Different Subject External Websites?
I am working on link building campaign and trying to gather inbound links from various subject external websites. I have big confusion with this effort. I am working on eCommerce website and getting inbound links from technology related website. So, Does it really matter for better performance? I want to give one example to get more idea. I am selling table lamps on my website and trying to get inbound links from that kind of websites which are highly dominating to table lamps or lighting industry. But, This is not only one case. Sometime, I have opportunities to create inbound links from different subject website. Simply, If I will compile one content for UGC section on SEOmoz and links to my website with table lamps so, Will it help me to rank for table lamps keyword? Exact match hyperlinks on external website always matter::: That I aware about it. But, what about subject orientation. I am Table Lamps monster & you are SEO monster. So, Will Google give benefit to that kind of links which are dominating different subject? I have solved some issues about quality of website after installing SEOmoz toolbar in my browser. Because, I or We are visiting multiple websites during daily stuff and may find out opportunities to drop our website link over there. But, I have fear to drop my website link in any website. Does it really matter quality or website & How can I judge it better rather than SEOmoz toolbar? I have added such a big question with proper declaration but, I want to jump in to link building campaign and want to earn good value after my long term effort.

Link Frequency
I understand that good link building is all about the quality of the link / the anchor text attached to it. But, what about frequency? Should I build until I can't build anymore? or create a plan to submit links to a certain # of sites per week/month?
