How can a competitor show no internal links?
-
I'm comparing metrics between my site and competitors. Statistics on Site Explorer show that one competitor has no internal links. How is that possible?

Thanks for your insight.

Can you share the URL of the competitor's site?
Alan is correct that one possible cause is a site could not be indexed by OSE, but that is not the case in this situation. That would only apply to a new site or a site with very low DA. The site you list with the problem shows a PA of 49 so it should be listed in OSE.
My next thought is perhaps the site is fully flash based or otherwise has a bad navigation design. If we could see the site we could offer better feedback.

Yes, OSE is due for a update any day now, so you may have to wait another month if you only added a day or so ago.
-
We've only had them listed for a short time, maybe a day or so. So, it's safe to assume this is a false return and would need more time to do a full crawl before having a definite number?
Thanks for your help.

If OSE has not crawled that site, then they will not have that info. How long have you had them in your campaign as a compeditor? I assume that OSE exporer will crawl them next time since you have them listed.

Plan for Analyzing and Optimizing Internal Link Structure
I've noticed that our site has what appears to be a poor ratio of external-to-internal links. I know there are no hard and fast rules in SEO but generally I've come to understand that this ratio should be relatively balanced, and in some cases I've seen some correlation of high-performing/ranking sites closer to 70-30 (external-internal). I'm not going to get into specifics, but our ratio is well-below 50-50 (heavy on internal links compared to the volume of inbound external links). My hypothesis is that this is diluting the link equity/authority for the domain. Moz's tools don't really provide any data beyond the initial data point of the volume of internal links compared to external. Being that I've never really gone down this rabbit hole before, I'm wondering if anyone else has ever experienced anything similar and could point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for any assistance or guidance!

Tumblr and Link Equity
Hi Moz Community, I've recently decided to start a project where I gather 1,000 great examples of something that's searched for often, and am thinking that posting it to a Tumblr site like the following website did could be a great way to pass link equity back to my main site (with a little "site by [my site]" somewhere in the header or footer). While I was super pumped about this idea today, and have now gathered almost 500 of my examples (mentioned above), I am not seeing link equity passed from this site, even on the non-redirected links here: http://gothamlogos.tumblr.com/ Anyone have any experience with projects like this? I've checked read the Moz Tumblr and SEO article from a few years ago, which makes it seem like this should be an SEO "win"... But using the Moz Pro account tools, I'm not seeing any of these non-redirect links (ordinary links) giving any value to anyone on this example site. Thanks so much in advance, Zack

Inbound Link Tool?
I signed up for SEOMOZ so that I could get a conclusive list of links for my competition. I hope I can get this information with this tool. Can I? And where can I find the tool? P.S. I don't need my own inbound links; I can get these with google webmaster tools.

No internal links showing up in OpenSiteExplorer report
Hi there A simple one. I was just looking at our site in opensiteexplorer and notice that it says we have no internal links at all: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s244/sh/dd8cc88f-fee4-4ba2-8ec0-f3f8d5c408db/8d3fc3d2aa6fc9d5406051bc91731402 Rather odd as we do. Is this a bug with OSE that anyone knows about or something else? Any ideas / thoughts gratefully received.

Can I add more than one domain in a campaign?
There 5, 12 and 30 campaigns limit in Pro, Pro plus and Elite plan. Does that It mean that I the number of domain we can monitor per plan is equal to the number of allowed campaigns? Lets say I have 50 domains and I want to track them all. Can I manage them like the way Google Analytics do. Thanks

In my crawl diagnostics, there are links to duplicate content. How can I track down where these links originated in?
How can I find out how SEOMOz found these links to begin with? That would help fix the issue. Where's the source page where the link was first encountered listed at?
