When using GA on my Website do I need to have a disclaimer that 'We are using Google Analtyic to Track information'?

In Austria we have to claim the usage of GA in the disclaimer by law. We write some lines in a paragraph about the usage and we embed the link, too. I guess the German text we use won't be any help for you.

yes, you need to add that as a disclaimer on any website you are using Google Analytics.

Conflicting data in Google Analytics

Hi Guys I've been looking at the data for a client in Google analytics and I was wondering if anyone knows why some of the data doesn't tally up. In my case its the following: Under Aquisition
No of Sessions for a Keyword shown in Organic Search tab (compared to)
No of Clicks for a Query in the Search Engine Optimisation tab For example, for a brand term, Google are showing 17 Sessions in Organic Search.
For the same term Google are showing 90 Clicks in the Queries section of Search Engine Optimisation OK, we know that Google are a little cloak and dagger regarding keyword data but surely Sessions and Clicks for the same keyword should be identical unless I'm missing something.

Is it possible to import data from an old Google Analytics profile to a new Google Analytics profile?

We have encountered a situation where a client's old SEO firm is refusing to grant us Admin access to our client's existing GA account. For security purposes (so the other SEO firm doesn't delete the existing GA profile) we have started a new Google Analytics profile. Again we do have access to the data in the old account. Is it possible to migrate this old data over (if we just have user access)? Thanks for the help

Google analytics : exclude traffic to a subdomain

Hi, I have a website with a client access on a subdomain. I want to exclude the traffic to that subdomain because it messes up my conversion goal for the main site. Per example, 2 out of 10 visitors are existing clients that want to access to my SaaS product. The 8 other are potential clients. I want to exclude the 2 clients from my stats so I could have the good conversion percentage for my free trial for the other 8 potential clients. Thanks in advance for your help!

Why isn't Google showing the first keyword result in Analytics anymore?

Just checked my Google Analytics traffic sources under organic search and it dosen't display the first keyword, it says "not provided" is there another way of determining the #1 organic searched keyword that my site was found under?

Multiple Domain Tracking with One Google Analytics Account

I am working on multiple online retail stores as follow. Right now, I have tracking facility with multiple account. Attached image can give you more idea about it. http://www.vistastores.com/

Why is Webmaster Tools not Linking Correctly Google Analytics?

I have a global site with .com as the US site and then /country for all other markets i.e. .com/uk .com/de etc. Each site has it's own WMT profile. Each site has it's own GA profile. Since Google added Search Engine Optimization to the GA interface, I can't track these sites separately under this new feature. It seems to me that it can only be associated with a single WMT profile at a time or rather that WMT can only be associated with a single GA profile at a time. The numbers for the UK and US site are identical, but when I try and link the UK WMT account with GA it removes it from the US profile and vice versa.

What is the best Wordpress Analytics Plugin to use?

I am installing a new instance of WordPress and want to use Google Analytics. Which Plug-in is the best to use? I am finding several Plug-ins that all seem to do the same thing: Google Analyticator Google Analytics Dashboard Simple Google Analytics Ultimate Google Analytics Wordpress Google Analytics Maybe one of these are not the best? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Seeing / and no / in Google Analytics

When I look at my Google Analytics code, I see that the same content will show up twice, once with a / at the end of the URL, and once without. My site is at http://www.skypeenglishclasses.com. Does anyone know why this would happen? Is it duplicate content?
