Not ranking in Google.com
-
I put up my last site on the web since a month. So far I have been optimizing mainly to Hungary and I got used to that my content was indexed in a day and if content was good it sometimes appeared in the first two pages in a couple of days.
Now with my new site I am targeting google.com. I put it up since a week, sent the sitemap to google, it was intresting for mee te see that even the pages to get into the web index needed two days.
Seomoz says my site is all right besides some duplicate content issue i will solve soon. So it is past a week and even if I copy a complete sentence from the beginning of my home page and paste it into google my site does not appear.
I also purchased couple of backlins but they have not appeared so far as well. Is that really this slow? Am I to impatient? Or should there be something else problem I should be looking for?
Thanks for any feedback

Can you find your site with site:domain.com
Read the post i made today about a domina nme i had that just stoped ranking. i had to change the domain name.
For duplicate content, i would not remove from index, i would use the canonical tag, all pages have pr if they are in the index.
The canonical id for this purpose to shown google what version to rank.

Hi Zsolt
Duplicate content could well be an issue, my immediate thought would be to resolve it, either by changing some of the content so that it's all unique, or using a NoIndex tag and removing the duplicate URLs through Google Webmaster Tools. Could also edit your robots.txt file to disallow indexing of the duplicate page(s).
There is a time difference between new pages getting indexed by Google and those pages ranking for anything.
Purchasing links (buying links) is high risk, this could potentially harm your website. Natural free links from other reputable websites is the way to go.
So get the duplicate content issue resolved and obtain some good natural links, wait a little while longer and your website should start to appear for your targeted keywords, though not necessarily very high up just yet.
Regards
Simon

Hi Mozzers, Just wanted to double check that when a website domain changes from .co.uk to .com - do you add .com to the referral exclusion in GA? Do you also keep the .co.uk version in the list too? I have updated the property settings to .com Thanks Anthony

Google Analytics global page empty
Hello, I don't know what happened with my Google Analytics initial page. For around a week I have there all my websites, but they show no results on global page. If I enter on any property I can see everything as normal, just not on the initial page. Screenshot: http://imgur.com/JKFVIh4 For sure I changed anything that I shouldn't. Perhaps you know what's wrong? Thank you in advance.

Is there a way to find out who the admin of a Google Analytics account is?
We have a client who has been searching high and low to gain access to the GA account that is tied to their website, but previous agencies keep stating they don't have access. Is there a way to find out who the admins are on a GA account with the tracking number so we can reach out to that person and ask them to admin the client?

Google Analytics censoring keywords?
The top keyword on our real time GA is showing as a blank. There's a topic of a sexual nature in our talk threads trending on Twitter right now which is driving a lot of traffic and I'm wondering whether Google have censored the keyword. The next few keywords are our name and variants of. Could there be some other reason why this word isn't showing up? Has anyone else experienced this?
