Is the 9K difference the no-followed external links pointing to the site?

RE: Filling Up Content For A New News Publishing Site
Since all the research has already been accomplished, why not re-write the old articles (not spun) with a fresh outlook/viewpoint/call-to-action and have the best of both worlds...lots of quickly created content that you are not afraid of indexing?

RE: Get listed on DMOZ
At first glance I did not see anything that would stop your site from being added to that directory. Double check that you are following the rules here: http://www.dmoz.org/docs/en/add.html
If all looks good then the next step may be to become an Editor yourself like I mentioned above. More info can be found here: http://www.dmoz.org/docs/en/help/become.html

RE: Get listed on DMOZ
I am assuming you followed the instructions (any deviation can get your site skipped) so why not volunteer to be a DMOZ Editor and try to get your site added that way? You get the added benefit of helping others who may have been waiting for months/years too.

RE: Wordpress keeps reinfected
If you can reload the site via FTP to a state prior to loading the plugin that would be the way to go...assuming the plugin is the problem.

RE: What multi directory submit services should one use?
I have used both UBL and Getlisted with varied degrees of success. If you can afford it, whitespark.ca would be my choice.

RE: Can a Novice Fix Parallelize Issues?
Thanks for the input Brian. I am afraid of messing something up and being unable to correct it so will do nothing until/if I know what needs to be done (or pay someone to accomplish).
I do want my site to be faster but if this is only going to be a marginal improvement (if at all) I am not sure the increase outweighs the headache/cost.
I am still trying to wrap my brain around this techie "stuff"...way more of the elephant than I can chew at the moment.
BTW...What I failed to mention above is my site is currently hosted at GoDaddy. Not sure if that has any relevance or not.

Can a Novice Fix Parallelize Issues?
I was working yesterday on making my WP site quicker (sellingwarnerrobins.com) and after updating the htaccess file to solve some "Leverage Browser Caching" issues I re-ran a scan on Pingdom Tools and am now getting a zero for "Parallelize downloads across hostnames" with a list of 34 items to fix.
I did some web searches and when the articles started talking about cnames, subdomains, and hostname distribution it went beyond my capabilities.
Are these Parallelize "issues" something a novice like myself can easily fix? If so, how?

RE: Is it possible to track and rank internal links?
Have you tried running OpenSiteExplorer against the pages? It would need to be done 1 page at a time but would show you the links going to that page.

RE: Fixing Dead Links How To Figure Out Where I Put Them
If your site is Wordpress driven you can load the "Broken Link Checker" Plugin. It will show you on your dashboard exactly where the broken link is at and give you the option to either fix it or delete the link.

RE: Google Local Listings dropped in all major keywords
Experiencing similar issues from the latest refresh...just have to ride out the dance and see what transpires.
-
RE: Is this still Google?
It looks like the dust is still settling from the "updates" Google was applying last week. Some of my content has been dancing for the past few days as well.

RE: Are there advantages of switching Websites to a private IP from an IP shared on a Webserver?
Exactly the type of information I was seeking. Thanks so much Cyrus!

RE: What are your go to SEO & Marketing forums?
I am a fan of inbound.org because of its simplicity and often pop in at searchenginewatch.com because of the variety of content provided.

RE: Error: Missing Meta Description Tag on pages I can't find in order to correct
I had a similar issue with my authors and updated both the Author Archive Settings and Theme SEO Settings (metas) under the area mentioned above and it solved the issue. It had nothing to do with All in One.

RE: AuthorRank - The main aim for SEO?
AuthorRank helps and the more G+ engagement you have, the better. Here is an example: http://pandodaily.com/2013/01/07/how-google-author-rank-could-change-content-marketing-and-journalism/. If nothing else, I would be more apt to click on a link if someone's photo was next to it. Also, many are now getting their G+ post snippets to rank in the SERPs as well (Mark Traphagen comes to mind).

RE: Is a shorter subdomain better?
Go with subdirectories over subdomains for the reasons already mentioned. Also, a shorter URL is easier for consumers to remember so take that into consideration when coming up with your naming convention.

Check out this resource for more information: http://www.seomoz.org/q/are-google-now-indexing-iframes

RE: Anyone have any opinions with Rank Logix SEO Company
Never heard of them. Why not just slowly build the links yourself and ensure they are quality and from the niche you are trying to rank for?

RE: Error: Missing Meta Description Tag on pages I can't find in order to correct
Under your Dashboard, go to Users, and if you are the only user click on Your Profile, otherwise choose the profile you want to update. If I read the question right, you should solve at least 1 of the issues from there.

Are there advantages of switching Websites to a private IP from an IP shared on a Webserver?
I just did a reverse IP Lookup for both my sites and noticed they were on shared WebServers with 370 and 719 domains respectively. A few domains hosted on each IP looked very suspicious too.
Is there an advantage of switching my websites to a private IP from an IP shared on a Webserver?

RE: Removel of duplicate contant
If you know the page authority (either by having ran an SEOMOZ Campaign or by checking the site via Open Site Explorer) keeping the page that ranks the highest is what I would do.

RE: Facebook fan page does not show up in Google Search
You are not showing up on Bing either. Do you have Country and Age restrictions set on the FB page? Try leaving the Country blank and the Age restriction to Anyone (13+).
If you have a G+ page, make sure you have your FB page listed/linked on your G+ profile.

RE: Link Building Agency refuses to report Hours of work completed, is this normal?
The hours it takes them is really not relevant since the contract will be "x" number of links per month for "$y". Focus your correspondence on the quality and relevancy of the links they are providing. Hopefully the adding of links will take a natural progression and not all at once each month.

RE: Does displaying a mobile number for business hurt local SEO?
Just be consistent and list the number you use most often. For me that is my mobile number.
-
RE: Why is there no sitemap.xml for SEOmoz?
I had a template site and was not able to put any files on the root...going the robots.txt route worked just fine for me.
-
RE: Will you be adding +1 to your sites?
Not totally convinced on +1s yet but it's used quite a bit in my niche (real estate) so I have followed suit. Time will tell how much impact it has.

RE: Asking for a link in return for doing a webmaster a favor.
This sort of thing happens all the time, and since I am in your niche, I might be interested.
