Well, I've been using Nichebot (wordtracker), and it is totally different in terms of keyword phrases and search counts than google tool. That's my concern. Why the BIG difference?

Most Accurate Keyword Count
Okay, there are so many keyword tools out there, and I would like to know the one that is most accurate for search volume.

Has anyone used the new wordtracker link building tool?
If so, please give your opinions.

RE: Submitting multiple sitemaps
Can someone help me here?
I used the sitemap generator, got like 500 plus pages.
I uploaded it to the root of my server, submitted it a second time to google, and got:
Parsing error
We were unable to read your Sitemap. It may contain an entry we are unable to recognize. Please validate your Sitemap before resubmitting.
I don't know how to fix this**.**

RE: Submitting multiple sitemaps
Well, I created a new sitemap using the above; renamed it; uploaded it to server; submitted it to google, and google did not accept saying error.

RE: Submitting multiple sitemaps
I'm not saying the sitemap is html, I'm saying the pages are html. And, that already have one xml sitemap that is autogenerated by the new wordpress platform, but I have a ton of html pages the new sitemap is not picking up.
So do I just create another one and add all those pages? So then there will be 2 sitemaps.
Edit: Just ran the sitemap generator. Pretty cool. Now there are some duplicates. So do I need to go in and remove those pages that already show in the first sitemap, or is it okay to have them in both sitemaps?
-
RE: Submitting multiple sitemaps
Well, the current sitemap google is recognizing is the wordpress (newer one) that is a .xml.
So how can I create an additional one that will show all the html pages, so google can easily find them?

Submitting multiple sitemaps
I recently moved over from html to wordpress. I have the google sitemap plugin on the new wordpress site, but in webmaster tools, it's only showing 71 pages, and I have hundreds, but many are html.
Is it okay, to submit an html sitemap as well as the wp sitemap that's already in there?

RE: Pages not cached
It's weird. When I take some specific copy and insert it in google, the article comes up, but then when I click the "cached" link it doesn't show a cache. What's that?
-
RE: Pages not cached
I have a link off my homepage to my main article directory page. On that page is about a dozen or more category links. Click on a category, and then you have links to all the articles in that category So that's what, one click off homepage, second click on category, third click on actual article.

Pages not cached
Sorry for all the questions.
I have dozens of article pages that are not cached by google. How can I get them cached?

RE: Best keyword research tool
Couldn't install it as it says it's not compatible with firefox 5.0

RE: Best keyword research tool
When you say SEOmoz tool, do you mean Competitive Link Research Tool?
-
Best keyword research tool
Okay, what is the BEST keyword research tool?
I've heard all across the board, but I'm looking for preferrably a free tool, but just want to use one that can do competitive research, as well as find me a ton of long tail.

RE: Link Building
I have changed all my product descriptions from all the other retail sites in my niche, for that exact reason. To not have duplicate content, or at worse, the same content as all my competitors. But you gave me some good ideas Do you want to right these for me

RE: Link Building
The only issue with producing good content is when you have an ecommerce site, and it's mostly product pages. Then what?

Crawl Errors
Okay, I was just in my Google Webmaster Tools and was looking at some of the stats.
I have 1354 "not found" pages google says.
Many of these URL's are bizarre. I don't know what they are. Others I do know.
What should I do about this? Especially all the URL's I don't even know what they are?
-
RE: Getting page cached
Stupid question Joe, but is that safe to do? I just submitted 3 URL's successfully, and says I have 47 left. Is 50 a monthly number allotment? So if it was fetched successfully, does that mean google will be caching page soon?
This is pretty cool if it really works.
Thanks,
Mike

Getting page cached
I am reworking some content that is deep in my site. What is the best way for google to find it? Some of the pages were cached about 3 weeks ago, but I don't want to wait too long to get them to see the new content (and links).

Finding 404 links
My first campaign is nearly complete and I have like 40 - 404's. How can I find where these links are on my site? We recently moved over to WP from html and that's what happened.

Website Content
Is it bad to have html pages on a blog?
I converted a completely HTML site to wordpress, but havd hundreds of article pages that are still html.
-
RE: Link Building
That's what I thought. It seems there are only really maybe a half dozen to a dozen effective link building methods and strategies.
-
Link Building
I've been hearing about going after niche directories, and my question is most of them have a ton of links on any given page. Is it even worth taking the time to approach these sites knowing they won't pass a lot of link juice?
-
Internal Linking
Okay, if I write 10 different articles on my site that are related to one of my products. Can I safely have a link in every article to my product?
-
RE: How many times to use keyword
Do you then interlink them?
I'm not explaining myself very good.
So I have a keyword.
I would like to do a blog post with it. Then an article with it. And if it makes sense have it on my main site maybe as a secondary keyword phrase for a product I'm selling.
How could you link the above as it is all the same keyword. Not a variation, although if I should vary it, that's fine too.

RE: How many times to use keyword
Yup, but then I still have the article opportunity as well, and that is what I was asking was how to crate content on blog and in articles and if I can link them? Again, this is all on one domain.
-
RE: How many times to use keyword
Yes, I have my main site, then my blog, then a third article directory on the site that has keyword themed categories covering lots of different keyword variations. All residing on the same domain.
-
RE: How many times to use keyword
Thanks, but what I was talking about was the 3 different opportunities on my site I could possibly create content for the same keyword, and if so, can I then interlink them?
-
How many times to use keyword
So if I have my main site, blog and article directory section, can I use keyword in all three places, but obviously different, unique content? And if so, can I link them to make it even more powerful?
-
BOTW listing
Okay, I've heard a lot about botw.org listing and how it should be on our list. So I dig down to my category, and according to seotoolbar, page does NOT show a google cache date.
Well, wouldn't that be a wast of $150?
Also, I think I'm in the wrong business. I'm seeing these HUGE fees for seo and link building services. Even just consulting is outrageously high.
There has got to be an option for us little guys, but obviously professionals in the seo market are making a ton of money.

RE: Page title
I used that link and wrote a post on one of my golf blogs.
-
RE: Page title
One question, isn't using "and" twice kind of a waste of characters, as that means nothing to the search engines seo-wise?
-
Nofollow blog links
Does a nofollow blog link pass any link juice back to the site the link is pointing to?
-
RE: Double Listing
Well is there anyone in the golf niche I need to be worried about in regards to exposing my site?
