I'm just setting up a new project/client and see Moz has auto-populated the keyword field in the new project setup form.
Where does it get these from?
Since I'm looking at the client's site through the Moz browser and cant see any of these KW in the usual/ obvious places? Whats the data source for this auto-population?

Good news, it has returned without any further actions on my behalf. But I have started to receive some sales via branded search results, so I think we can all safely conclude that this is triggered by brand search CTR.

Yeah but i think your right and talking to a colleague also agrees with you its a CTR issue, and requires more brand searches and/or general activity
whilst the domain is ancient i had neglected it for a few years so lost the brands value over this time so now need to build it back up

the rank seems to have dropped slightly at the same time as the Google Business profile disapearing

Has been showing the results fine since going live end of April, then suddenly disapeared over the last 48 hours
This is the link to the results showing correctly when i click on 'View in Search' from my GMB dashboard, but can no longer replicate that for a direct branded search for 'shop21'

Thanks! Schema all supposed to be correct, which one do you mean specifically - organisation schema?
The weird thing is that it does all display correctly when I click 'View In Search' in my GMB a/c, only not when I check directly on search (weird because 'View In Search' within GMB looks like it links through directly to the same results just with the GMB pack).
Yes other things checked and not incognito & yes competitors all resolving ok

Just redeveloped my site and went live end of April
Since then whenever i do a branded search the GMB 'pack' has always shown on the right hand side whenever i do a branded search but it has disapeared as of the last couple of days.
Any ideas why this can happen ? and is it anything to worry about or just a google 'glitch' that should right itself soon?
If not any ideas how to fix ? (accounts and website all properly linked) etc
When i go to GMB dashboard and click 'View on Search' it does show up as it should, but not when i go to do a google search for the brand name !?

Thanks for your advice Alex, yes i agree, will ask Shopify if this was them (re default settings) or if my migrators have been over enthusiastic but contrary to best practices.

I've just had best practice site migration completed for my old e-commerce store into a Shopify environment and I see in GSC that it's reporting my standard pages as blocked by robots.txt, such as these below examples. Surely I don't want these blocked ? is that likely due to my migrators or s defaults setting with Shopify does anyone know? :

shipping policy
pricing policy
privacy policy
etc
So in summary:
Shall I unblock these?
What caused it Shopify default settings or more likely my migration team?

if I'm getting a keyword stuffing warning on Moz for a brand page for the brand name kw that shouldn't really matter should it?
Moz just oversimplifying it since seen the brand name says 27 times on a page think it's stuffed, but if its a 2000 word page all about the brand, those occurrences are totally natural & hence Google will think so too generally speaking?

I was just worried that 'swapping' via hreflang, to the very new & non SEO'd websites immediately would be a mistake since they wouldn't swap 'exactly' due to the brand new UK websites lacking any authority etc. Yes SEO'ing them is a priority, i was just wandering if some months of authority building should be carried out before attempting to roll out the hreflang, to help them swap 'exactly', or therabouts.
But will try think of a way to test anyway, at the moment, client is prioritising brand search results at the moment and the new uk site has different pages (and nowhere near as many as the .com) & different structure so the uk version is by no means a copy of the us site (does that have a bearing if not similar content & structure or should hreflang still be deployed ?)...so Home Page needs hreflang i would have thought. (Any tips here welcome

I have a question in regard to point 1 in Gianluca Fiorelli first comment on Aleyda Solis old but great international targeting article in regard to hreflang: https://moz.com/blog/using-the-correct-hreflang-tag-a-new-generator-tool it would obvs be amazing if either Gianlucca or Aleyda can answer but if anyone else feels they can do so confidently then that would be great too I'm advising someone in similar situation as that (their main brand is USA based on a .com showing up in UK searches too) and they have launched .co.uk sites (without any seo) to target UK brand searches, so obviously the .com is still dominating UK serps for brand, and the .co.uk is ranking on page 4 on average for a brand search. **BUT **before I tell them to roll out hreflang shouldn't they build up some authority etc first for their new country specific (.co.uk) site ? since they are very new and have no authority or even basic SEO and don't rank higher than page 4 for brand searches (the .com is in no1 in both usa and uk). I know hreflang needs to be used correctly here but im not sure when it should be, now or later (after authority has built up for the new uk focused sites) ? In other words I take it deploying the hreflang correctly wont simply cause these home pages to swap positions for brand search in uk (or will it) ? Im worried deploying it immediately could actually destroy the brands current page 1 serps for brand term (since will remove the .com page from the uk serp). Hence i take it its best to build up the new .co.uk sites seo/authority etc first and at least get that sites brand ranking moving up the listings before deploying hreflang on the .com, to then hopefully remove the .com listing in place of the .co.uk for brand ? Any ideas why doing a search for 'Family Portrait Photographer' from my location on the Isle Of Wight (after deleting cache/history) etc results in a load of results relating to Cardiff Wales (local serps and main listings)?
I am close to cities like Southjampton & Portsmouth as well as few other all much neaer than cardiff !

All sounds very strange - when you look in GSC and refine down to the page level looking at a few individiual pages such as the ones you know havnt been showing up in results (over the time period this has been going on) are you seeing massive drops in impressions and clicks ? I think worth checking this just to double check that Google is dropping them out of the index for sure rather than it being simply a ranking position drop.

Yes thats what im looking into doing removing the products subfolders altogether and just go off the root
Should this be straightforward in shopify do u know ? Obviously i will ask Shopify forums and support etc just in case causes issues with their system/themes etc

Im SEO'ing a Shopify site (new/not yet live) at the moment and all the products are in a 'Products' subfolder along the lines of: domain.com/products/blue-widgets/ etc
I understand that many ecommerce SEO's these days go 'Flat Navigation' with all products 'off the root' rather than in a sub folder. Then they communicate product & categories/departmental relationships via breadcrumbs & other internal linking etc
In the case of a platform like Shopfy is this a good idea or is it best to leave 'as is' and the 'Products' subfolder is a perfectly good place for the product pages ?

Ive linked an adsense account to the relevant sites GA account but cant see an approporiate new section in GA with the Adsense data in it!
I presume there should now be ? If so where should it be and if its not there what's likely cause/fix ?

Can anyone recommend a free or v cheap graphics tool for social media company page profiles etc
Ideally looking to be able to upload a company logo that then gets converted into all profile image sizes, preferably with a banner option too and ideally with related extras like favicon creation etc
Anyone know of one ? (I have tried Pablo by Buffer but does images for social posting only)

I've just used Google Tag Manager chrome plugin to look at possible analytics issues on a clients site and it has reported that its Analytics ID is being tracked twice.
1 is Universal and the other is Universal Asynchronous
And when i click the question mark next to the 'Where to Optimise' info in GTM this page is displayed with teh following info highlighted:

ga.js is a legacy library. If you are starting a new implementation we recommend you use the latest version of this library, analytics.js. For exisiting implementations, learn how to migrate from ga.js to analytics.js.

I wouldnt worry too much since i think this is much more to do with MOz recent Index update.
If i look at my 'Manage Campaigns' page where i see a list of all my campaigns currently running (10 campaigns), 9 out of the 10 DA has dropped by a similar percentage.
Hence this IMO is a Moz crawl drop in DA rather than real world drop in site authority
Would be good to get a response from a Mozzer too just to confirm ??

HI David any news re the below/my last response since Monthly reports now created but no historical data in the campaign i reset the social accounts for ? Also no competitors listed anymore, they dont need to be rest too do they ?
Thanks David, Although weirdly it is on weekly data by default which shows just follower numbers and nothing else! Daily & monthly is totally empty (will they repopulate with data after 48 hours ?)
Shall i just give it another 24 hours and wait and see what haps ?

I had to reset my Twitter account in campaigns yesterday and theres now no data in them, i take it then that we must allow few days for data to propagate into our campaigns when we reset, or is there possibly and error ? (has been about 24 hours since i reset)

First of all thanks so much for taking the time to respond in so much detail i really appreciate it
For your info we are not deploying hreflang for this project/client since one of the country sub sites is actually on its own ccTLD and the foreign language site on a sub folder - we don't have a problem with the various languages ranking in other countries, in fact consider it better that way since some will use English in Turkey and Turkish in Turkey etc etc. However this clients developer has added hreflang fields so can add in the future if want or need to depending how things work out with it but internatinal seo strategist on this project advised not to use it in our particular circumstance.
Re Yoast Social Accounts:
The main English .com site does have all these socials entered into the Accounts tab/page of Yoast , i presumed it made sense to add the foreign language socials to the Accounts tab/page in the foreign language sub sites too BUT have been told by someone who had done similar that it screwed everything up. So just wanting to check if you agree here and they should be left empty since when they say **MAIN social accounts **they do mean just the English in the .com Yoast Accounts section and leave the Accounts tab in foreign language sub sites Yoast empty.
The articles you provided such as Yoast etc are all very good and i did look at these but none seem to address this specific question which is what im look to clarify, any ideas ?

What's the difference search engine wise and which one should I choose, i presume GB since covers entire British landmass whereas UK excludes Ireland according to political definition, is it the same according to Google (& other engines) ?

The campaign seems to have updated now in part only, on the dashboard but in search section still previous weeks date with some modules empty, ill email help@moz
Re On-Page Opportunities within 'Insights' - according to my understanding this module is completely meaningless without a keyword to give it context so, if i am correct just wandering when its going to be fixed (as in the keyword the rank relates to is actually displayed so we can see which is the opportunity keyword ?
