Hi guys, I have had to re-design my site although we are only 4 months into the seo game we have seen some good progress with our rankings. My question is there anything I need to consider before implementing the new designs so it doesn't effect my current rankings or any of our SEO work. Our current designs are content thing and so we have had to create more content to better optimize our site, however if doing so will this loose our current ranking position? Apperciate any advice around this Thanks

Hi guys! We are a start up and just launched our website in December.  We are having issues with our website not converting and we have identified a few possibilities of why it may not be converting after an extensive competition analysis.  Therefore, due to our limited budget we have had to cut our adwords campaign and now have 1 shot at fixing the conversion rate optimization by changing the registration process and also our offer from "FREE" to discounted rates eg: $1 per min for all new customers instead which will also work in with the way our system is configured as we have a deposit funds method. Our current offer stands at 3 FREE mins on all chat sessions, however this can not be claimed unless the client deposit is min $20 - now I realize why our competitors would use the discounted rates instead of the FREE minutes.  Other competitors can achieve this as they don't require the customer to deposit any amount as they just deduct the account after the 3 minutes is up from the credit card. After running 1 months of adwords on a limited budget (i know its not long enough to test) we gathered around 24 sign ups, 3 of which entered credit card details but no deposits, and the rest who signed up only got to our 2 step registration.  In this case we are working our way on changing the registration process and changing the offer. Hey guys One of our sites was penalised from a while ago and we use to rank page 1 for our keywords and now w can't be found.  Is there a way to recover from this? Also, I came across Rands video about site architecture whilst google were teaching us to generate backlinks, and spammy anchor text what would your suggestion be to recover from this?  Any ideas? How much content should you be writting on each page?

It seems for sometime now I have not been showing up the top for my keywords when I use to be ranking #1 and #2 for my main keywords, however now, I don't show up anywhere - this has been for almost a year now, can anyone tell me how I can find out (apart from google web masters tools) where I was penalised? Hi guys, I have 3 international sites So far I recieved a Sitemap that was generated by an seo company to use and submit to google, for our co.nz domain, I have been told to submit this also to bing and yahoo.  Can anyone tell me if I can submit the same sitemap for the com.au and com or would i need to generate a new sitemap for each domain? I have been told, everytime we change content we have to keep submitting, is there a way to do this autmatically as we will be writting alot of content daily. Any recommendations or suggestions?

Hi Guys As a newbie, I want to avoid any penalties or mistakes as possible that will be due to unknown and have taken some steps to educate myself around international sites and multiple domains. our aim was to target new zealand first and then branch out.  Whilst we are pondering the NZ site and writing fresh unique articles for the site and the blog.  And besides making the currency, language more relevant to these domains, is there anything else I could work on? I thought about making the meta tags different for the home page and adding Australia etc If we are going to spend time growing the site organically I thought I would make the most of spending the time growing all three together.... Any recommendations on how to get started and optimize the 3 alot better? Thanks

Hi guys, I'm targeting a specific country NZ to start off with as my site is only new 3months old - whilst I'm trying to rank for various keywords such as - psychic readings, online psychic readings, love psychics, clairvoyant, astrology, tarot card readings etc I can see I'm slowly ranking around 18, 20,30,40 through my blog page, but nothing from the site.  I know the site is content thin and were currently working on improving this, is there anything else you can suggest that perhaps I might need to be aware of? Or any tools I could use to go about getting information that could help put me ahead lol Thanks all!

Hey Guys Everytime I run the tester through google webmaster tools - I keep getting an error that tells me "Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead." I have just launched my brand new e-commerce site www.zenory.co.nz We are wanting to expand global as you can see we have com.au and also .com but due to our min budget we had to start with NZ first for organic search and a min monthly budget on adwords which doesn't come close to what our competitors are paying.  Really is it worth paying out our limited budget with adwords? Or should be put that into ranking organic search. While we have only just started our adwords PPC campaign and I think it has only been roughly two weeks - We have had around 18 people sign up, to which we have a 3 step process, however, we are struggling to convert and complete a transaction which customer places credit card details in step 3.  Does anyone have any ideas around how we could better optimize or perhaps make any suggestions? Our competitors spend rather large amounts of up to 3000k - 300k per month on adwords, and there is just no competing with that.  Any suggestions I would definitely be open to... Thanks alot

Hi guys, I'm newbie.... I have been told that my home page is content thin, and if I want to rank really well in the search i need to have more relevant content on my homepage - the site is only new 2months and I can see we are now at 39th place in the search, if i make changes to the home page design and add more content will this effect this current ranking?

I noticed for a while that our competitors don't rank for any keywords organically and they are using paid ads to gain traffic.  They have been in the industry for over 6 years and we are only new and have ranked above them already.  How can we find out if a competitor has been penalized? Thanks

We have three domain names co.nz, com.au and com.  We are very new and have been told to optimize for co.nz first before going into com.au and com.  Having said that, we have outsourced an seo company to optimize our co.nz site, however I would like to optimize the com.au and the com based on the information we currently receive for co.nz. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this? I looked at our competition and it seems they have the same content across all 3 domains, but they have changed the meta tags for each domain and that's about it. Any tips or ideas on how we could possibly do better? I know its early stages.... but as a newbie some advice around this would be great! Thanks
