These are "Not Found" errors, meaning they are pages that do not exist but are being linked to somewhere on your site or another site.

If the page that is not found is a relevant page that holds a prominent ranking position, then by all means you probably want to either fix the broken link that was found or 301 redirect this broken URL to the correct URL.

You can check what page is linking to this broken URL by clicking the URL in the error report and switching to the "Linked From" tab and then decide if it's something that needs to be fixed.

This would affect your Google Analytics data if you regularly use the Page Title dimension when reporting. I would recommend making the necessary changes and reporting using the Page dimension (URL). This way, when you optimize your page title, the URL will remain the same and not be split in your report.

When you say 138 links I'm going to assume your site has 138 pages and only 43 pages are being indexed. If not, let me know.

Have you submitted an XML sitemap with all 138 pages? If you have and still only 43 are being indexed, I'd take a look at the quality of your pages. If you have several pages that have similar or duplicate content, Google may decide to index only one. Also, make sure all 138 pages are easy to navigate to from either the nav bar or an HTML sitemap (or both).

If all else fails, try the Fetch as Google tool within Search Console to submit your non indexed pages and then click submit to index. I usually find this rarely does anything, but it's worth a shot.

A Sitemap file located at http://example.com/catalog/sitemap.xml can include any URLs starting with http://example.com/catalog/ but can not include URLs starting with http://example.com/images/.

Having all my sitemaps in a /sitemaps/ folder meant that each of those sitemaps could only include URLs beginning with example.com/sitemaps/. I moved all my sub-sitemaps to my root (similar to how wordpress does it) so that they cover the scope of my entire site.

I have a sitemap-index.xml file in the root. I then have several sitemaps linked to from the index in example.com/sitemaps/sitemap1.xml, example.com/sitemaps/sitemap2.xml, etc. I have seen on other sites that for example a sitemap containing blogs where the blogs are located at example.com/blog/blog1/ would be located at example.com/blog/sitemap.xml. Is it necessary to have the sitemap located in the same folder like this? I would like to have all sitemaps in a single sitemap folder for convenience but not if it will confuse search engines. My index count for URLs in some sitemaps has dropped dramatically in Google Webmaster Tools over the past month or so and I'm not sure if this is having an effect. If it matters, I have all sitemap files, including the index, listed in the robots.txt file.

Here's what I would do for each:

1. List NAP for each location on a contact page and clearly label both so there is no confusion over which information belongs to which location etc.
2. Visit this page https://support.google.com/business/#contact=1 and have a Google rep call you directly. They are extremely helpful and rather than dealing with the headache of verification, duplicate listings, etc, they can recommend the best course of action for you and make immediate changes. I also believe that if you visit google.com/business and claim a page, there are instructions for claiming a business with multiple locations.
3. Publisher tags, I'm not entirely sure what the best practice here is as I don't use them that often so maybe someone else should answer this part.

Looking at this again, It could also be due to the fact that part of the keyword searched for (PSZ-HA1T) appears at the very end of your title tag and would likely not show up in SERPs (due to your title tag being too long).

Try reworking it so this keyword would appear in the first ~512 pixels.

Hreflang tags are great. I would highly suggest implementing these. Something that I was confused about when I first started using them was that all tags should be on all domains including its own.

For example: firstcountry.com/faq.html should have tags for:

• firstcountry.com/faq.html
• secondcountry.com/faq.html
• thirdcountry.com/faq.html

and so on.

You can check that these have been implemented correctly in Google Webmaster Tools under "Search Traffic" -> "International Targeting"

Google may have thought that the title was misleading and may cause searchers to think they are visiting a website that is official endorsed by Sony. Try adding some branding to the end of your title tags like Google did for you in the example. Something like "- Tape and Media" or " - TapeandMedia.com" to avoid that kind of confusion.
