We've had a problem with the crawls doing this lately. Could you please send an email to help desk with your campaign information so we can track it that way? help@seomoz.org. Thanks so much!

RE: Looking to hire someone to help on my website. On page issues with subpages outranking homepage
Nux,
Do feel free to ask a question in private Q&A. It's private, so it is not indexed, and not visible to anyone but SEOmoz staff and associates (who are all under NDAs) and yourself. You can name the sites in question, and get a bit more of a personalized response and some direction there in addition to what you're getting here in public.
You get one private question a month as a pro member, and this sounds like it could be a good reason to use that private question credit.

RE: About http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/
Hi Samir,
Have you opened a ticket with the help desk? That would be the best thing to do right now is email them at help@seomoz.org and let them know what browser you're using, what error message you're seeing (if any), and what IP you're using.
Thanks!

RE: How Do I Create Multiple Pages In HTML Sitemap?
100 links is certainly not a hard and fast rule, and there are times when it does make sense to use more links on a page. Ryan Kent is fond of Verizon's sitemap at http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/sitemap.jsp. They have a comprehensive site map, but don't necessarily list every single page on their site map either.

RE: Why Is SEOMOZ No Longer crawling All Of My Site
Here are some common reasons why only one page of your site may be crawled http://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/409821-why-isn-t-my-site-being-crawled-you-only-crawled-one-page. For more specific help, sending an email to the help team at help@seomoz.org is the best way to get your particular issue looked at.
Thanks!

RE: How to crawl the whole domain?
Hi Eduardo,
I'm sorry you're still having problems. At this point, it'd be best for you to send an email to help@seomoz.org and have our help team look at it for you. They'd be the ones who could give you the most advice for diagnosing this.

RE: Title Tag Not Relaying In Google Search
JohnMu from Google gives advice as to why Google may rewrite your title tags, and Barry Schwartz has summarized it at http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/023139.html. I'm thinking it may be because your title tags look a bit stuffed/spammy.
In short, John says it may happen when:
- Titles are particularly short
- Titles are shared across large parts of your site
- Titles appear to be mostly a collection of keywords
What do you do if this happens to your titles? John said:
One thing you can do to help prevent this is to make sure that your titles and descriptions are relevant, unique and compelling, without being "stuffed" with too much boilerplate text across your site.

RE: How long does opensiteexplorer take to generate exportable reports
It's not supposed to be nearly that long. We've had a couple of glitches with it recently. Your best bet is to email help@seomoz.org, which opens a ticket with the help desk and they can get things fixed for you. I'm so sorry you've had a problem.

RE: Best way to develop a WordPress version of your site and then move it?
Here's another post that may be of help in moving a dev wordpress site to a live site.
http://www.billerickson.net/how-to-move-your-wordpress-website/
Some services, like page.ly (which has a new discount for pro members now! http://www.seomoz.org/pro-perks) make it real easy to do a dev site on their sub domain while your current site is still live, then switch it over after you finish everything in WP.

RE: How to compete with spammers
You can always use a private question credit to ask your question of SEOmoz Staff and Associates and include your URL. Those questions are not indexed or visible to anyone who is not a staff or associate, and we're all under NDA regarding the content of those questions.

RE: How to tell if you have been penalised?
I see your homepage is back in the index in Google when I do a site: search, and in google.com it's showing up on the first page for a search of Advertising agency Cambridge from California.
Did you figure out what happened and why you got back in? Or just celebrating that the page is including again? Glad to see it's back in there!

RE: Google Plus 1
With the key here being natural Google+ votes. If you have an auto repair shop in Texas and 103 votes, with 100 of those votes being from Austria, that will NOT look natural.

RE: How do you get an e.mail response from SEOMOZ?
Hi Frank,
Can you let me know what email address you've been using? You should be getting really fast responses from the feedback form or from email help@seomoz.org. Let me know what address you've been using and I'll look into why you haven't been getting a response, and I apologize in advance for any problems you've had.

RE: Competitive Domain Analysis Observation
The domain authority may be high, but the page authority is usually fairly low. The search engines are wise to people creating thin content on sites with a high domain authority, and they realize that anyone is able to create a site on wordpress.com and take that into account.

RE: How do I back track Broken Links?
What you need to do is export the errors to CSV, then a column that tells you about these links and where they were coming from magically appears.

RE: Can we assign multiple admins and users with different role in one PRO account?
Hi James,
Sorry to say, but that's not an option right now. It is in the user-generated feature request list at http://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/20199538-is-there-a-way-i-could-add-another-user-to-access-my-pro-account. You can add a comment or vote up this request over at that page (though I believe you need to log into/create an SEOmoz zendesk account first).

RE: Target the homepage?
Hi Tommy,
I've asked our associate who specializes in local search to come take a look at this question. She should be able to give you some helpful advice with how to proceed.
We understand that many times you cannot divulge information about your client or their business, especially if they haven't launched yet. Do feel free to tell us if that's the case here.

RE: Links from low PA pages on high DA sites... What effect do they have?
Christopher, you might want to ask this as its own question, as this is an old thread and new responses won't bounce a thread to the top. I only know of this question since I happened to be subscribed to the thread.
I'm not an expert in PA and DA, but my guess would be that a new release from 2009 doesn't get a whole lot of links and traffic in many cases.
A common response to the question of "should I build links to one of my inlinks to increase the authority of my inlinks" is that you should spend that time getting links to your own page, not doing someone else's linkbuilding work for them.

RE: 1 Goggle Analytics Account or Multiple?
I agree here with almost everything, especially with linking and transferring the GA accounts.
About five years ago an AdWords customer of the one person agency I was contracting for disputed about $30-40 total worth of charges, spread over three payments. All of the AdWords accounts I had were suspended without notice, even those on different credit cards and those not at all related to this agency. Most of them did have an analytics account in common, and they were all on the same Google Webmaster Tools account. Google would not say how they had determined which other ads to shut off, but I did get the rest of the accounts back online in short order and never had another problem with them.

RE: Hey, I want to get 10 Best quality Links soon, Please suggest
Getting the links is easy. Getting them to stay, and getting them on a relevant site and getting them to count in the search engines is the tricky part.
Can you give us some more context about this request, so we can better help you? You're not likely to get what you're hoping for, but we can help you with what are some reasonable expectations and how to do this sustainably.

RE: Anyone seeing ose csv exports hanging?
Just to let anyone else watching the thread know, the solution has been started, but it may be until Monday before things can be finished and this fixed -- but it has been started.
-
RE: Anyone seeing ose csv exports hanging?
Thanks! Sorry to make you go on two places, but the Q&A system and help desk system don't have a function where I can turn this into a help desk question. You might not hear back from the help desk until they officially open again on Monday, but there's a good chance there's a staffer or two hanging around the help desk and avoiding holiday shopping, so you might hear back earlier than Monday.

RE: Anyone seeing ose csv exports hanging?
Hi Jassy,
Could you also send an email to help@seomoz.org so this can be logged with the help desk? That will get a help desk person to respond to you, and also help us with any trends that might be going on.
Thanks!

RE: 2 Titles
You know, I'd leave in the msvalidate and remove everything else. Bing is offering a LOT more information in their webmaster tools and this now means that you have some historical information built up in your webmaster tools account (presuming it was installed correctly).
-
RE: 2 Titles
I'm seeing two titles in there. View source on the home page, then do a control-f for find in your browser, and search for the word title. The second one is right below the msvalidate.

RE: Help Understanding Crawl results on this site
The flash intro could be why the crawl data isn't showing up. How many pages are crawled? Here's information from the help desk on some of the issues that affect Moz being able to crawl a site:
http://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/409821-why-isn-t-my-site-being-crawled-you-only-crawled-one-page.
Others will be able to give better answers than I regarding the link building, but I wanted to get at least part of your question addressed here.
-
RE: How does a sitemap affect the definition of canonical URLs?
Bing has said that anything over 1% of bad URLs in a sitemap constitutes a dirty sitemap to them, so yes, it is very important.
Are you able to share the system that you're using? Others may have experience in working around this already.

RE: Is There A Way To Automatically Ping Your New Content

Have you tried any of these? Joomla has an extension directory that lists several pinging extensions. Also, a Bing search on [joomla ping] turned up several useful results with detailed explanations.

RE: New Links - Not Found
Hi Stefano,
For SEOmoz, it can be two crawl cycles to pick up links, so it can take two months. OSE also doesn't cover the entire web, so if they are low-value pages, they might not show up at all.
I wouldn't worry just yet, and keep your eye out for the next index release, which is scheduled for January 4th.
