RE: Google Indexing Request - Typical Time to Complete?
Hi Seo 1805.
Put, indexing and ranking higher in Google isn’t an exact science. There's really no set timetable for how quickly your new page will be indexed by Google.
It isn’t guaranteed that the URL will be crawled again or that it will be done immediately. It usually takes several days to accept a request. Please also note that they can't guarantee that Google will index all the changes made, since to update the indexed content depends on a complex algorithm.

Have you analyzed the competition? It may be that the competition has very well optimized the web page. It can also be that the web is older, etc. What is your website to analyze it with respect to the competition?

RE: Google Search Console - Click Count Inconsistency
Hi Andrew.
In all likelihood, the keywords that you are getting from Google are not set and cannot be shown to you due to privacy reasons or are too low in search volume to be included in search tools.
It isn't a contradiction, those clicks exist: simply choose PAGES instead of queries in the top to see how it breaks down on a URL basis. You can check it in an excel download the file in CSV (or google spreadsheet). This will prove that the result of the sum is the same.
Google simply choose not to or cannot show you those keywords.
If the answer were useful do not forget to mark it as a Good Answer. Thanks!

RE: If My site has 20 DA will it be good to get backlinks from a very low DA 3 site for free
Hi!
Ultimately, Google doesn't care what the site's DA is. DA is also easily manipulated. Before you start obtaining links from these sites, it's important to do your due diligence. Ensure the site's aren't low quality or being spammed with low quality links (which could bring up DA while still hurting a site in Google’s eyes).
Realistically, the best links to obtain are going to be from quality sites with high relevancy. Quality sites are sites that have a healthy backlink profile and history.
Keep in mind, create link only with relevant site in a professional manner. Never do spamming.

RE: How can I use the images to improve my SEO?
Hola Lucía!
1. Google likes mainly these 3 formats: jpg, png and gif.
2. The less weight you have the images BETTER !. Here I leave a software where you can reduce the images with percentages of how much it reduces it and with different qualities: http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/imageoptimizer/ is very easy to use, try it and you will see.
3. Use the "alt" tag, or alternative text. Google is not able to interpret the information offered by the images; that is why you have to use the ALT attribute.
4. Use the "title" tag or title of the image. It never hurts to put the title on the images.
With these 4 things you will ensure a good optimization of your images.
-
RE: Never recovered from loss of visibility in Google, what did we miss?
I think that's the key: get more external links with the "follow" tag. Is that they have many more "follow" links than the rest of competitors (including your client).
-
RE: Never recovered from loss of visibility in Google, what did we miss?
Hello, KAWP.
An analysis in Moz Pro, according to the dates, has made me doubt in the following image. There are two timestamps in which the competition has managed to grow its external links in a potential way. Could it be that it coincides with the change of positions in google with your client?
In that case one of the solutions would be to increase the external links. So so much.
If the answer were useful do not forget to mark it as a Good Answer. Thanks!

How I can improve Local SEO in 2018
Hi. I have already applied this strategy:
- Capture Your Space on All Local Business Directories.
- Leverage the Power of Local Link Building
- Focus on Reviews and Ratings
- Use Local Structured Data Markup
What could I do to improve my strategy in 2018?

RE: No opener
This tag is automatically added to all the links, both internal and external, that you want to open in a new tab. Although it seems very intrusive, it isactually a security measure to prevent malicious links from taking control of an open tab.
It's not advisable to delete the rel = "noopener" of your posts .It doesn't affect the SEO, it does not have any impact on the different analysis tools and neither the affiliate links are affected. The only thing it does is to protect your users from possible malicious links that can hijack your tabs.

RE: Least Text for Home Page
Hi Kingalan1.
I'm going to copy and paste this text from John Müller, Webmaster Trend- Analyst, Google Schweiz:
"There is no minimum extension and there is not a minimum number of articles per day that you have to publish, not even a minimum number of pages on a website. In most cases, quality is better than quantity. Our algorithms explicitly try to find a recommended website that offers content that is high quality, unique and attractive to users. Do not fill your page with low quality content, instead it works to make sure that your website is absolutely the best of its kind."
So, I use this tips:
1. Good keywords analysis
2. Good URL with keywords
3. Good Title (keep in mind the H1, H2.. tags)
4. Good Description
In conclusion, be the best. If after analyzing the competition you think there is room to improve the present, do it. A simple way is to use the skyscrapper technique . It basically consists in detecting what is working for the competition and multiplying it by a thousand .

RE: Local Business Schema Image requirement
Hi. First, I had a speech therapy clinic in Madrid (related with dentist). We have our website optimized for Schema.org.
This technology is not mandatory, but it is recommended to provide data to search engines such as Google or Bing.
Our website is configured with the option of Local Business, but I did not know anything about the images that can be put.
I understand that the images can only be put in Blog Articles and in Cooking Recipes.
If I'm wrong, please correct me. Thank you.

RE: What will SEO be like in the 2020's?
Hi Ryan!
That is a very distant date, but I would bet on the following:
1. Mobile First Index
2. Voice search optimization
3. Artificial Intelligence and SEO.
4. Long term business with the right SEO strategy
5. SEO and Social Media: Instagram
Personally, I think the growing of Artificial Intelligence is likely to cause individual ranking factors to become less critical.

RE: How Can I Get more traffic for me own blog ?
Hi there!
I would recommend you follow these steps:
1. Perform On-Page SEO
There are many SEO tactics you can perform on each of your website pages to increase their rank in search engines and get more visitors. This includes producing high-quality content that your audience is searching for, and writing concise meta descriptions for your pages. The meta description appears below your URL in search results. Knowing what a page is about and what will result in a click makes users much more likely to do so.2. Get Listed
Another way to increase traffic to your website is to get listed in online directories and review sites. For most of these sites, your profile will have a link to your website, so actively updating these listings and getting positive reviews is likely to result in more website traffic.3. Post to Social Media with Hashtags
Use social media to promote blog posts and other useful content on your website. This way you can get your social media followers to your site, as well as users in your followers’ networks who share your content.4. Use Landing Pages
Create landing pages specific to your offers, such as for redeeming discount codes, downloading a free guide, or starting a free trial. Landing pages are another source of traffic to your website. Plus, they contain the details users need in order to move forward and convert.5. Target Long-Tail Keywords
While short-tail keywords are often searched more frequently, it is more difficult to rank for them on search engines. Targeting long-tail keywords, on the other hand, gives you a better chance of ranking higher (even on the first page) for queries specific to your products and services—and higher ranking means more traffic. Plus, as search engines and voice-to-text capabilities advance, people are using more specific phrases to search online.6. Start Email Marketing
Sending out regular newsletters and promoting offers through email is a great way to stay in touch with your customers and can also help to get traffic to your website. Provide useful information and links to pages on your website where they can learn more, such as through blog posts and offer landing pages. Just make sure that you don`t continually bombard your readers with emails or your customers will either disengage with, delete, or unsubscribe from your emails.7. Advertise Online
Online advertising is perhaps the most basic way to get more people to visit your site. Social media, paid search, and display advertising are all excellent channels for PPC advertising to boost website traffic.8. Guest Blog
Having a micro-influencer publish a blog post on your site can help to increase your web traffic, as they are likely to share the post with their large audience. It can also help to add more variety to your content and show your visitors that you are active in your field. Alternatively, you could ask the influencer to mention your business in their own review or round-up post, or you could turn an interview with the influencer into a blog post that is likely to get traffic.9. Engage Online
Be active in online groups and on websites that are relevant to your business and community. Comment on blogs and social media posts, answer questions people are posting, and participate in conversations about your industry. The more you engage with your community, the more exposure and profile visits you get. If your social media profiles contain a link to your website, then you’ve turned your engagement into another channel for website traffic. Just be sure to engage moderately and in a sincere way, and avoid including links to your website in your comments10. Learn from Your Analytics
Use tracked links for your marketing campaigns and regularly check your website analytics. This will enable you to identify which strategies and types of content work, which ones need improvement, and which ones you should not waste your time on.I hope I've helped

RE: Keyword research tools that provide specific suggestions re: Voice Search?
Hi Luke.
What I do is write those questions in google and write in an excel those that appear in first position. All this I adapt in a page of my web that is of FAQ, so that it is as much as possible SEO-friendly.
I would also suggest Ubersuggest with wildcards.
How * money *
Why * car *
Whatever your questions are - you can just wildcard some stuff in there.

RE: International Country URL Structure
Hi. I just answered something similar in this question. Look at it if it can help you.
https://moz.com/community/q/unique-content-for-international-seo#reply_384463

RE: Unique content for international SEO?
Hi.
It's common for websites to provide similar or the same content in different languages when targeting different regions while having different URLs.
Google is okay with this as long as the users are from different countries. Your web will not be penalized when translation is manual and accurate. Even though Google still prefers unique content for each version. It understands that having unique content can be quite tough. Google clearly states that you dont need to hide such content by not allowing Google to crawl it using a robots.txt (for example).
The circumstances are entirely different if you're providing the same content to the same audience through two URLs. Imagine you've created yourbusiness.com and yourbusiness.com.au. One targets the USA and other targets Australia respectively. Since both are in English, this will cause duplicate content. Luckily, it can be easily solved using a hreflang tag, which is widely accepted by all search engines globally.
The hreflang tag protects international SEO campaigns from being penalized with duplicate content. It's usually required by businesses that cater to different languages or countries through sub-domains, subfolders, or ccTLD. The hreflang tag also is important if you have multiple languages for one single targeted country.
How to implement it:
1. We must handle language targeting. You'll have to list out the URLs that have equivalents in different languages. Any stand-alone or non-equivalent URLs would not need the hreflang tag, so don't list them.
2. Now comes setting up the tag. This is what a general hreflang tag looks like:
Let's envision that the page in question is www.mysite.com/page2.html and you want a Spanish version of it.
You'll simply change it to
For having a site that targets different countries in same language, you'll use code like:
3. Please note that the hreflang tag should only be placed before the closing of the tag and the tag of self-page shouldn't be added. For example, the page
http://en-gb. xyz.com/page.html
Should only contain the alternate versions like
and for page http://en-us. xyz.com/page.html/, the tag should be.

RE: Best site Template, Structure, etc. for SEO
I recommend this page where you can find a lot of templates for woocomerce. They are pretty good and have good seo structure and logically are paid:
https://themeforest.net/popular_item/by_category?category=wordpress%2Fecommerce%2Fwoocommerce
I don't know exactly what you want it for: service, product, online business, offline, etc. If it exceeds exactly the web you want to create, it could be more specific.
-
RE: Moz's new Link Explorer, including our revamped index and DA/PA scores is now open to everyone!
Thanks to all the Moz team. I've been using it for some time and this graphic for me is pure magic.
Thanks again.

RE: Best site Template, Structure, etc. for SEO
Wordpress and Woocomerce and similar, are not platforms that start from scratch, but they do not bring it all-inclusive either.
You will have to work to manually implement all the products to make it to your needs. Each case is unique and as much as there is something similar to what you are looking for, you will have to customize it.
Anyway, nowadays any platform (Joomla, Wordpress, etc.) are good for SEO in a structural way to how search engines track it.
It already depends on each one's abilities to personalize and optimize the structure and content. The idea is to stand out from the competition. And if it is a saturated niche, this is really very difficult.
I hope I've helped.

RE: H tags and Topics
Hi seoanalytics. It's not necessary that your H2 tags respond to people's questions.
H2 is for subheadings of that H1. Use it to divide content into scannable blocks; both Google and your visitor will like it. H3 is for subheadings of that H2, preferably. Sometimes I use H3 for blocks that should be H2, but just don’t hold that much information for the visitor.
H2 tags make you think about the structure and page layout of your blog. An 800-word blog may seem like a good idea. And, in fact, Google loves a page with a lot of information and depth. But you should help your audience out and give them lots of subheadings to make reading easier.
Think of H2 tags as tiny table of contents pieces, showing your readers where to go and what they can expect to find in the given sections of your blog. What’s more, H2 tags must be optimized accordingly with your keyword phrases of choice, since they help SERP crawler bots interpret your pages and rank them accordingly.
-
RE: Why is this spammy tactic working?
Well, it works. According to the spam spam analysis, they are at level 3 of 17. You can see it yourself here:
-
RE: H tags and Topics
Hi seoanalytics.
The h1 tag is one of the most important among the more than 200 SEO factors , as it helps Google understand what is the highlight of your article . It must be unique for each article or page. The h1 must contain keywords (keywords in English) that help position the article taking into account what people are looking for. The titles you choose for your posts are actually the h1.
The h2 are the subtitles . They are perfect to separate content and give a little more information to Google. They should contain synonyms or words related to the main theme of the post. They can also be used as an introduction. This is what I do in all my posts and it works very well.
The h3 are subtitles within h2. They are added the same as the h2 and should focus on the content of the subtitle. The content of the h3 must contain related keywords that help position. Next I show an example :
-
How to be an SEO expert (h1)
-
Necessary knowledge (h2)
- Paragraphs
- Programming (h3)
- Paragraphs
- Marketing Digital (h3)
- Paragraphs
- Social networks (h3)
- Paragraphs
-
Courses (h2)
- Paragraphs
-
Experiences (h2)
- Paragraphs
- In companies (h3)
- Paragraphs
- Personal projects (h3)
- Paragraphs
-
Conclusions (h2)
-
Paragraphs
Another example. Here is where I live:
Earth
Europe
Spain
Community Of Madrid
Madrid
Puente de Vallecas
I would recommend that possibly you keep your pages specific about one topic and use:
- One h1 Element
- As many as required h2 elements to denote sections on the page (1-3 h2 elements).
- Consider using h3 Elements for useful link groups to other relevant sources but advice would be to try and keep headings for main context text content and not to group template navigation, for instance.
I hope I've helped.

RE: Is it better to optimise for several keywords/keyword variations on one page, or create sub categories for those specific terms?
Hi Adam. The practical tips that I propose below will allow you to adjust the structure of your blog.
First, good practices for the use of the categories:
- The categories must be able to classify the main topics that are covered in the blog.
- Create between 5-7 categories.
- Define the categories at the beginning of the creation of the blog.
- Index categories.
- Do not use uncategorized: it is better to create a category of "others".
- The categories must appear in the main menu or in the sidebar.
- On the main page of the category includes an explanatory text.
- The number of posts by categories must be balanced. If you identify that a category contains most of the posts, you may need to divide that category into two (or more).
- A post can be included in more than one category, but it is not necessary. If we think it can help the user, there is no problem, although you always have to think if it is really necessary and if it will add value. In some cases it will not be necessary, in others, we may discover the need to create another category that better encompasses a main theme.
Then, good practices for the use of tags:
- It is advisable not to index the tags.
- It is not necessary to include them in the main menu.
- Tags should never have the same name as a category.
- The tags are not meta keywords.
- Do not create infinite tags. Each tag must have a meaning and be able to encompass several posts. A practical exercise is to think: will I use this tag for more than one post? If the answer is no, it is advisable not to create it.
- Less is more. Do not include more tags than necessary by post. There is no limit number, but remember that they have to add value.
- Choose if we work the words in plural or singular.
- It is also ideal to define the tags when starting the blog. To do it in an orderly way we can define the tags according to the category. But never use the same tags in a category.
And don't forget the URL structure. Its very important too. If a blog is SEO friendly, it is also seen in the structure of its URLs. When you define them, remember to include /category/ or /tag/ in front of the category or tag as in this example:
In this way, you will create a healthy structure and avoid possible 404 errors and duplicate content. I hope I've helped.

RE: Redirecting traffic to https
Hi Sharon. The basic steps are as follows:
- Purchase an SSL certificate.
- Perform a full back-up of your site in case you need to revert back.
- Configure any hard internal links within your website, from HTTP to HTTPS. This show green lock.
- Redirect any external links you control to HTTPS, such as directory listings.
- Update htaccess applications, such as Apache Web Server, LiteSpeed, NGinx Config and your internet services manager function (such as Windows Web Server), to redirect HTTP traffic to HTTPS.
- Implement 301 redirects on a page-by-page basis.
- Update any links you use in marketing automation tools, such as email links.
- Set up an HTTPS site in Google Search Console and Google Analytics. This is very important too.
I think you don't have any problems whith this steps.
-
RE: I am having an issue with multiple Google local listings.
Hi Vera.
You can choose to just list the primary number, or to include more numbers. Do you want to channel all calls through one line? Then just include the primary number. If you want to allow your users to directly call the department they’re looking for, then include some secondary.
In any way, I am attaching this link with the terms of google about the phone calls. I do not know if they are the same conditions that you have read.
https://www.google.com/intl/ALL_us/+/policy/call-phones-terms.html
-
RE: How to increase external and internal followed links?
External links are more complicated to achieve. But you can follow the guidelines indicated in the answer above.
For internal links, you can do them yourself. In SEO it is advised that there are not more than 100 links that point to a page, but I have not tried this yet.
In short, make a keyword plan to make internal links in a structured way. It is the best option for SEO.

RE: SERPs for English search terms in Google.es show NY and USA companies?
Hi Gareth.
I think it does not matter if you're connected to google.es or google.co.uk, for this case. Think that to most people, google will ask for your location. In this case I think that what could work for you is to use local seo techniques.
In this link you have an article from the MOZ blog to know how to do it.
https://moz.com/blog/local-seo-checklist
You can use the local seo for each city in Spain where there are more inhabitants of the United Kingdom.

RE: Wrong image shown to represent brand in mobile search
Hi Barret. I think you can try to change the video thumbnail on YouTube. It would be necessary to access as administrator the account where the video is. Then you would have to do the following steps:
- Sign in to YouTube.
- Go to Creator Studio > Video Manager.
- Next to the video, click Edit.
- On the left of the preview screen, choose a thumbnail.
- Click Save changes.
You can try doing another search and see if that forces Google to use the thumbnail.
