Create an army of botnets*
*Highly blackhat and you could end up in prison!
A massive part of SEO if getting domain authority, this is what you would split by having different sites...everything would get diluted.
Just one bad link would not harm you, but it IS possible to damage a site with bad links.
The head section of this page has:
NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX">
Which is why this page is not indexed by Google too.
Yes just looking at an email in webmaster tools right now
Dear site owner or webmaster of ....
We detected that some of your site's pages may be using techniques that are outside Google's Webmaster Guidelines.
Specifically, look for possibly artificial or unnatural links pointing to your site that could be intended to manipulate PageRank. Examples of unnatural linking could include buying links to pass PageRank or participating in link schemes.
We encourage you to make changes to your site so that it meets our quality guidelines. Once you've made these changes, please submit your site for reconsideration in Google's search results.
If you find unnatural links to your site that you are unable to control or remove, please provide the details in your reconsideration request.
If you have any questions about how to resolve this issue, please see our Webmaster Help Forum for support.
Sincerely,
Google Search Quality Team
You need to build some anchor text links with 'office refurbishment' in, OSE is not showing any.
You need to contact the sites directly or tell the SEO Company to do it. Its much harder undoing low quality links than building them!!
Forget Pagerank... it means nothing. Look at SEOmoz's domain authority (DA) instead. If they can supply you 50 links on 50 different sites with a DA of over 50/100 each for $250.... then DM me their details!!
Why don't you just block the other pages, so you only have your standard canonical page being indexed? You can then cloak the content by IP, but remember Googlebot always crawls from the US so make sure it is seeing the standard version.
This data is so so valuable...
From recent Google algo updates, do you think a page level algoritmic penalty would effect overall domain trust?
I'm seeing 10 external links to the domain. Just keep building links and chill!
That will definitely work, it will just take a few weeks for Google to re-crawl the site and remove these urls from their index. Sit back and relax... the job is done!
Definitely NOT worth the effort!! 301 redirects have lost a lot of power over the years. I've had clients in the past buy hundreds of sites with PR and redirect them all (not from my advice), and it still did not get them to where they wanted to be.
I'd just get an infographic designer to do, otherwise it will turn out crap. PM me if you need one...
Everything in moderation I say. I would only get a few of the top ones. I created a list and looked at the domain authorities if you are interested:
Also note how Matt has added no index, no follow to the paginated pages
So you are saying you have been only building links for 3 months, but looking at OSE the Canon TSi page has 425 linking domains and canon 7D 751 linking domains?? This is way too many for that time frame IMHO. I would say you have tripped a filter. Wait 60 days and see if it comes back up... it should do.
You used to be able to map a domain onto a high PR site and it would mimic the PR after a while.
Genesis is the other big framework but never used. I stick to Thesis, you don't really need any seo plugins for it anyway.
I also think people worry too much about their WP blogs being super optimized, just worry about the content and getting the content shared.
Or talk about the economic impact of deflation and its effect on the job market...
Is that one of Distilled's link building packages?
Create a dedicated sub folder for Sri Lanka /lk and geo target it to the country in Webmaster tools.
You don't have to do straight content either, get creative with linkbait, infographics and viral posts. These can also generate lots social signals which will help your campaign overall.
If they haven't hacked the site, they may do. Check it in http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/scanner/ and tighten up all the security.
A good idea is to get the link profiles of all your competitors on page 1. Then break all their links down by type, you will then get a good idea of what it takes to rank in that niche. If you aren't hot on excel, you could try cognitiveseo - they give this type of link profile breakdown... very useful
Sounds crap, just do it manually. There is no shortcut for good onsite SEO.
You could also try this tool > http://bit.ly/HRNQiF, it lets you create A/B tests without doing any major page design changes, comes with its own visual editor.
