Assuming that you plan on posting them on your site as pdf files then they are spiderable to some extent. Google does spider and index some pdf's. I wouldn't advise this as a plan because pdf's do not generally rank well in most areas. The only category I can think of offhand where they do are irs forms.
They would be much more likely to be thoroughly crawled, indexed and ranked if they are posted as actual webpages in html.

I would imagine that Nextag is one of Google's search partners, which is why they are showing google ads there. This is the section that mentions that in Google's support section.
You should be able to disable search partners in your shopping campaign settings.

I knew that the % meant it was encoding another character. I didn't know exactly which characters those stood for off the top of my head, so i just made educated guesses and got http://www.nextag.com/hp-p2015-laserjet/products-html
Generally html is the end of the url so I assumed the %3Fnxtg%3D116d0a1c0504- was a url parameter, which after looking at the table of url encoded characters, %3F is a "?" which is the beginning of a url parameter.

It looks like you are although possibly unintentionally. It looks like you're doing display advertising and are showing up here because it's a relevant page. It actually looks like a product listing ad.

This is a strategy called "Barnacle SEO." Essentially you optimize and build links to high end business profiles like yelp because they are more likely to rank due to their high domain authority.

The competitor you're talking about has a higher domain authority which already gives him a decent head start, but it's good that you're still outranking his website. What I see that's definitely helping him is that he optimized his listings for the city you're trying to rank in. He has more reviews than you and he has tons more facebook likes. He also has his Yelp linked to from his facebook and he links back to his yelp profile from his website.
Also, to answer your last question, part of the reason these are ranking is definitely because their is fairly low competition in the space.

I don't see any issue with this at all. This sounds like it's beneficial to the user and not spammy, so I don't see it causing any problems.

RE: Is there a tool to see all redirects?
The best tool that I know of that would do that would be the redirects tab under links in Ahrefs. If that's not showing you what you want, then I'm not confident that you will find another tool that will.
A chrome extension that could be somewhat helpful to follow redirect paths and see what types of redirects are being used is: Redirect Path
P.S. Thanks for asking this question because it helped me to realize that my site's .htaccess file somehow got deleted recently and my 301 redirects weren't working.

I took a look at your site and your wording is slightly deceiving. You're not using alt img text. Your're using text inside of an <a>tag (aka a link) and then using css to overlay your logo. To use alt img text the image would have to be coded with an tag into your html, which it looks like it is but is currently commented out and not showing.</a>
<a>Either way you look at it, at least in my opinion, your h1 should never be the same on every single page. There should be one on each page and it should be unique to that page. The h1 is supposed to be the main heading/title of the page and essentially you're telling google that the main title of every single page on your website is your brand name, which is incorrect.
I'm not saying that leaving the brand name tied to your logo is wrong, but I don't think that it should be in a sitewide h1 tag.</a>

It's really hard to tell without seeing the site and knowing what types of conversion goals and events need to be setup and how difficult it will be to actually get it done. If they're only setting it up for 3-4 forms then that definitely sounds a bit expensive for the required amount of time but like I said it really depends on what needs to be done. They easily could be trying to overcharge you if they think you can afford it.
One thing you also need to consider is that once you get much below $750, agencies may not think that it's worth their time to do the project, which could be why they're charging more.
Hopefully someone with a bit more experience with pricing can chime in on this because I'm more of a doer and work in-house.
