Unexpected % of new visits from search traffic.

Hello
Three days ago launched an AdWords campaign (text ad) designed to bring people to my site (www.quipeutlefaire.com).
I've been tracking the visits using Google Analytics and I find that 67% of Paid Traffic visits are new visitors (see attached image).
I find this very weird, I was expecting that people who come to my site through adwords to be completely new visitors (100% instead of 67%) . What's happening? are people using my ads as a sort of "bookmark" to come back to the site?

I see it across all keywords, some have a % of new visitors that's pretty low (20% to 30%) and some have a slightly better figure: 50%.
Were talking about tens of visits per week for each of these keywords (there are about 20 of them in total). While this might not ruin my business, I do find it annoying :).
99% of my visitors come from France (It's a French website :)) and 100% of paid traffic comes from France too

i would then look at the search quires in analytics to see if this trend of % new is across all words and all geo locations or just some keywords

It seems to me that some of my visitors are using my ads as a "bookmark". Has this ever happened to you (or to any of the readers of this question)?
Additionally, lets say Joe visits my site today by clicking on an Adwords ad. Joe likes the site and bookmarks it on his browser. A couple of days later, Joe comes back to my site,
I know that Analytics will count Joe as a new visitor the first time and a repeat visitor on the second , but the question is What will Analytics consider as the SOURCE of the SECOND visit? "direct traffic" or the ad that brought Joe to the site the second time around ?

Not necessarily - there are numerous possibilities why is happening. For example, someone clicks on your ad the first day and leaves your website after browsing it for awhile. They come back the next day and perform the same search and click on the same ad (maybe because that's how they remembered you) - that would make this person a returning visitor and NOT a new visitor.
That being said, you'll need to do a deep dive analysis to figure out what's really going on. To start, try creating an advanced segment between new and returning visitors, check out the navigation path, top content, see where they fall in the conversion funnel, etc.

I've 'lost' my Google Referral international traffic
We recently launched a new version of our website on the PrestaShop platform. On our old DNN platform, we would typically see several thousand clicks a month from Google Referral (domestic) and several thousand more collectively from Google Referral international traffic (i.e. UK, Canada, Germany, France). This was the data being reported in Google Analytics. Once the new site went live however, Google Referral traffic, both domestic and international, all dropped to 0. My question is: Did we lose this traffic due to some improper setting on our new platform, or is this Google Referral traffic simply being re-categorized into another category, i.e. Organic Search?

Can you market to someone 30 days AFTER they visit your site via PPC?
Hi all, I'm looking to market to visitors 30 days AFTER they have been to a website. Their is a coupon this business wants to run every 30 days to its' repeat customers (and if they purchase again); thus, 30 days more will resume. I'm aware that your remarketing list can capture audiences from 30, 60, and 90 days past. I'm talking about future display ads running 30 days after visitor has cookies enabled. Thanks for your help! Google Display Network had 3000 new placements in May
Hi all, I'm running through traffic figures from May as there was a huge spike. This is down to a spike in Adwords, specifically the Display Network. In May 2014, there is a total of 4337 placements. In April 2014, there is a total of 1561 placements. With nearly 3000 new placements where the ad could be shown, would anybody be able to explain as to how and why this has happened? I've run through the change history, and nothing i've done explains the extra placements. Auto add placements was on, but has been on for 12 months with no more than 50 extra per month. The only change that has been done that may link is I've added a mobile phone extension on ads displayed on mobile devices? The significant extra cost has been of no benefit to the campaign, as the advert displayed on various apps, forums and irrelevant websites.Would be great if anybody could shed some light here! G Analytics Appears to Show Bing but not Yahoo Paid Traffic
I am running ads across Bing / Yahoo network. I have set up a unique destination URL for these Bing / Yahoo Ads, using Google Campaigns URL Builder. However, in Google Analytics it appears to keep showing as organic traffic from Yahoo. What may be going wrong here?

Will a javascript rewrite of city names on a home page from PPC traffic affect SEO negatively?
We have a client that was originally based out of Orlando and the entire website is SEO'ed for Orlando. In the long term we will start SEO'ing for Tampa. But In the short term, we want to drive traffic from Tampa to the website but we want that traffic to know the business specializes in Tampa service (he has local teams there). We are already using a ?_vsrefdom=changemynumber to change the phone number dynamically to a tampa area code for tracking purposes. We want to dynamically change all iterations of 'Orlando' with 'Tampa' using the same javascript. Does this cause any SEO problems or trip any alarms with Google?

Best keyword traffic analysis tool for long tail search terms?
Please bare with me, this might turn into a bit of a waffle, but I'll get to my question... I promise! I've just been looking at our CPC traffic for April and 2 search terms jumped out at me. I recognised them from previous keyword research because they are search terms that I expected to be high traffic (from past experience), but Google Adwords keyword tools showed them to have no potential traffic, and next to no potential traffic (literally 0 local searches and 12 local searches per month). Last month search term A had 46 visits, with 19:25 average time on site and 8.70% bounce rate and search term B had 10 visits with 14:47 average time on site and 0% bounce rate. For very boring reasons we are not currently able to measure conversions on these terms since (they are related to consumer finance and when a customer applies for finance it is all done on our finance providers website) but despite the low volume, these are pretty good figures for on site behaviour and so it got me thinking... Is there a more accurate tool to estimate traffic volume that we should be using rather than the Adwords tools? I appreciate that the estimates are probably made based on historic search behaviour and April's traffic could just be a one off, but these particular terms used to be insanely popular 4-5 years ago when I worked at a competing company.

Do Google Autofill and Instant Search affect Adwords' Keyword Tool reports?
While performing keyword research around the term "windows", I noticed the keyword "windo" gets 18,000 global monthly searches with .23 competition. Why is this? Do y'all think the Google Autofill and Instant Search features affect reports generated by using the Google Adwords keyword tool? For example, if a user starts typing a search query only to find the site they were looking for before they finished typing the search query, does Google count the partial keyword the user never finished typing into the Adwords Keyword report? I've always wondered about this. Sometimes I find it tempting to attack a misspelled keyword because of the massive search volume and low competition for that keyword. I realize that many consumers may not be very good at spelling, and this may reflect a large search volume towards a misspelled keyword. On the other hand, I see this trend of high volume, misspelled keywords many times while performing keyword research for a variety of clients. Thanks.
