Why Is SEOMOZ No Longer crawling All Of My Site
-
Hi all,
I joined Seomoz over a month ago and Roger has been crawling all of the pages on the site approx 20 pages. Through out the last few weeks I have been working on the errors and notices identified by Roger. However, this week Roger has only re-crawled 1 page and is not picking up all the other pages.
Has any one come across this problem. can you recommend any thing to resolve it?
Many thanks in advance....

Hi Greg,
I haven't heard of that one before..hate to sound like a broken record, but best to email the help desk for this one too. Thanks!
-
I am not sure If I have the same problem... I previously had 46 pages crawled and added a couple in the last week. So the last crawl should have said 48. Oddly though, it reads N/A.
I would think a little tooltip should explain what N/A means there. Does anyone know?

Hi Echolls, so sorry to hear that. Can you send an email to help at seomoz dot org and let our help desk know? Thanks!
Keri

Just chiming in to add that I have the same problem going right now. Worked totally fine for a few days with 200+ pages crawled, now just down to one.
-
The re-crawl today has now picked up all the pages on the site. The problem was only for a few days.... Many thanks

There's a known bug at the moment that we're investigating that has some crawls suddenly dropping down to only a page or two. I believe both of you have sent your information to the help desk, and they'll help you from there. I'm making this comment so anyone else searching the forums in the next couple of days can see this answer as well and just contact the help desk directly.

Hi Seb,
Yeah, sent it through now waiting for a reply. Let me know if you have any joy and if it's an error on their behalf?
Many thanks
Danny

I did come across that answer but none of them really applies to me. Have sent a help request. Many thanks for your help.

Here are some common reasons why only one page of your site may be crawled http://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/409821-why-isn-t-my-site-being-crawled-you-only-crawled-one-page. For more specific help, sending an email to the help team at help@seomoz.org is the best way to get your particular issue looked at.
Thanks!

Shopify crawl issues
Hi Moz'ers, I am a total newcomer to this level of seo. Recently I transitioned to Shopify and I'm puzzled by why I'm getting 803 errors - incomplete crawl attempts due to server timing out. Wouldn't this have to do with Shopify? How would I go about fixing it? I'm also getting 804 - SSL issues, but I assume that will go away. Any advice? Thanks! Sharon

Pages Crawled: 1 Why?
I have some campaigns which have only 1 page crawled, while some other campaigns, having completely similar URL (subdomain) and number of keywords and pages, have all pages crawled... Why is that so? It has been also a while I waited and so far no change...

Open Site Explorer
Hi - open site explorer always showed backlinks to my site's blog for Wordpress, a couple of edu sites and others that ranked somewhat high. These are no longer being shown. However, they do show up on some other backlink check tools. Does anyone know why and if this should be a concern? Thanks. Don www.uniquegiftsanddecor.com

To Many Links on site
I've had an issue with to many links on the site. My drop down menu, secondary footer and footer. The report told me that I had 253 links on each page. I then programmed my secondary footer to dynamic and ran a crawl and my links reduced accordingly to 201. Then turned the footer into dynamic and ran a crawl with my links increasing to 1500. This also happened between each phase but en went away. Oddly enough, my domain authority increased as well as other factors in the crawl report. This too many links thing is driving me crazy. Please provide some guidance.

Links not appearing on Open Site Explorer
My site gained several new inbound links during December and only two of them are not all showing up on the latest Linkscape update. It seems to be the links that were created at the end of the month which are showing up, whereas a handful at the beginning of the month are nowhere to be seen. All the linking pages have been indexed by Google the links are do-follow, and one of the sites in particular is not obsure and has a DA in the 90's. I appreciate the Linkscape doesn't index everything, but I would have thought that more tof the results of my efforts would have shown up in OSE. I'd be really grateful if anyone could explain this to me please. Thanks Ben

Certain Domains no longer recognised by open site explorer
Afternoon everyone (well, it is for me), We've been tracking the linking root domains to our domain for around 6 months now, alongside tracking these domains we have also been engaging in linking building activities. Our initial activities worked quite well with linking domains rising from around 620 to 720 in 3 months. However, recently we have seen those numbers begin to fall away, in many cases it is because certain domains have stopped linking to us, have become no=follow sites or have been archived. But, in some cases we can see the link is still there, and is being registered by other tools such as yahoo or webmaster tools. My question is really, does anyone have a way of working out why a link, that was in the past being registered by open site explorer, is no longer registering and presumably no longer passing over juice to help with domain authority. What kind of signals should i be looking for to tackle a 'decaying' link? Looking forward to hear your thoughts!
