What are the new ways of Link Building which will get quality links?
-
Hi
We are doing following kinds of Link Building:
1. Article marketing
2. Directory Submission
3. Guest Blogging
4. Press Release submission
5. Infographics (Viral Marketing)
I know blog commenting and links from discussion forums are considered as greyhat / blackhat by google.
So I want suggestions on some other ethical(Whitehat SEO) ways of Link Building to get quality Links.
Also suggest me some Free article submission sites which give " dofollow-links"
Thank You

What you're doing is great if you have the content to back it up, especially if you're in a niche market. Make sure your infographics are of the highest quality possible. There are so many infographics out there that you really need to make yours stand out to have it picked up.
You should also be doing some link baiting for all of these articles and press releases you're doing. Writing a random article or press release just to get you a link can only help you so much. If the article or press release is getting tons of views and comments from different IP addresses, you'll find yourself in a good spot.

AWCthreads makes a huge point. The best SEO resource I have found the customer, or page viewer. If they are truly helped by the content you offer they will eventually do the best link building you can hope for. Generalzod also brings up a good point, if you have great content that is just sitting there because nobody can find it.. then what good is it really doing?
If you don''t have good regular traffic that may stumble upon the new fresh content then you'll have to go where your demographic is.
I will give an example: About 4 years ago I was working in the gaming industry as a software seller . A new game was coming out, I talked with my distributor, and got in on Beta testing. From there I joined the game's official forums. I soon found most people were using a fansite to talk about the game, so I joined the fansite. I played the game sporadically enough to engage in general conversation. Eventually, after being a somewhat established member (about 2 weeks of posting) I decided to let the people know I worked for a company that would be selling the software and could get anybody who wanted it a discount. That caught the attention of the owner of the fansite who in turn posted my sites banner on his page for free. That little work turned into 100's of sales and tons of links on all sorts of similar type forums and blogs.

Digg is a great medium. I would also suggest writing a great piece of content, and using that as an ice breaker for requesting guest posts.
Like:
Look what I can do! Let me do it for your site!
-
I'm with you on that! Great content and well presented content will give you links.
In fact it is as simple as that, as long as you have the best content, product, presentation or navigation. Look at your competition and make sure that your site, content, product is 10% better than theirs.

Chicken and egg. Writing great content is a good idea...but if nobody can find it, nobody will link to it?
I'd expand on the above idea and suggest writing a great article then perhaps push it out through Digg so that people will see it and likely talk about/links to it. Works for me anyway.
Good luck!

How about creating some content that is unique, informative, relevant, timely and worthy of linking to.

Tracking New Links
Hello, We are looking for tools to be able to track new links to one of our pages. I've explored OSE, Google Search Console, ahrefs, and Majestic. I've noticed that there is a delay in which new links are found; that not all the links are reported; and that many of these tools do not provide info on which links are new (vs. old). Are there certain tools you recommend over others to track new links as they come in? Any insights or best practices on link building tracking would also be much appreciated. Many thanks!

Is link exchange a reliable source to get back links?
I read a latest post on seomoz that _“Do not buy or exchange link with anyone who contacts you. This is completely against Google's policies and if they were to find out, you could be penalized." So I went through Google's ''Link Schemes'' and found that ''Excessive link exchanging ("Link to me and I'll link to you")'' can negatively impact a site's ranking . _ So is it the ''excessive'' link exchanging that can cause a negative impact? Exchanging links with good quality, cached sites (without excessive doing) can do good or bad? Can anyone please explain to me in detail?

Link building
Hello all ! I would love some opinions about one Link Building technical aspect from SEOs, link builders ... How important is the number of outgoing links on the page you have the opportunity to place a link ? (from a scale of 1-10 / what about where dose this factor fits overall with your check list , as important to consider as far as link building) Would you place a link on a page with 200+ outgoing external links if the page is ok (not involved in selling links, all links are related with the subject, target page, anchor text etc) or you would go with a link on a 10-15 links per page but not that 'powerful' and not that related (not spammy but more general on the subject that can contain links to some other non related resources). Eg: Option 1: www.whatever-name.com/links.html the entire domain is about x. It has 250 links in that page (in the links.html) all links on the links.html pages are somehow related / resources with x. Your link can be placed with an anchor text related with x that will target a page on your site related with x. Domain page rank : 6 (as a general indicator), Page PR, the links.html one, PR: 2 Option 2: www.some-other-name.com/x-is-so-great the entire domain is NOT about x, just the page. It has 5..10 links in that page (external links more or less related with x - but not spammy) Your link can be placed with an anchor text related with x that will target a page on your site related with x. Domain page rank : 3 (as a general indicator), Page PR, the links.html one, PR: 1 What's your best option ? Thanks !

Which link building method is most effective?
I have been looking at different seo companies for link building. I found a ranked list on Topseos.com. Many of them offer the same services as offshore SEOs, namely: Article marketing blog comments forum comments/profiles bookmarking PR directories Link acquisition by contacting relevants sites and negotiating a fee for a link I know that custom link acquisition is the most effective, but it gets very expensive. And, you don't know what each link is going to cost you. Here are my questions: Of the other methods (other thank custom link acquisition), how would you rank their effectiveness? The other methods seem kinda gimmicky, is it worth the time/money? Have you seen sites rank well for competitve keywords using articles/bookmarking/blog comments/directories etc? How do you know i a company is going to them manually as they claim? as opposed to using some automated software. Thanks

Linkbuilding: Checklist for quality of a link
Hi everyone, During linkbuilding you often stumble upon those links you are not quite sure of. At first it may seem like a brilliant idea to get a link fom that site but on a second look it may be not. So what would be a checklist of things to look for, if one is asessing a website's link quality? (e.g. how do you spot a bad neighborhood?) If you are using SEOmoz tools for the quality asessment, which one would you use? Looking forward to your answers! Thx for the help in advance! Regards Thorsten
