I'm curious what tactics people are finding successful in converting readers into leads, inquiries, or sales.

Offer sweet deals that blog readers will think are exclusive to them - and put a time limit on them.

"Today only, for our dedicated blog readers you can buy half a pair of pants for just $10"

Moving from Blogspot to blog hosted on our domain

Hi there, I work for a furniture retailer in the UK and I have a question about moving our blog. We have had a blog at www.ourcompany.blogspot.co.uk since 2012 and it was last updated mid 2014. There are about 100 posts and the content is actually really good, not spammy in any way and not stuffed with links to our site. The content is essentially guides to buying the right furniture. We have now launched blog functionaility on our website at www.ourcompany.co.uk/blog as I feel this is a better long-term solution to increasing site traffic and page rank. I want to pick your brains on the best way to handle the old content. A: Copy all the Blogspot content across and back date it to the same date it was originally published and then delete the old Blogspot account? Or will Google see this as duplicate content. B: Backup all the Blogspot content now, delete the Blogspot account and then repost this content at a later date? Will this still be seen as duplicate content? 😄 something else. Thanks for reading.

Safest Way to remove a blog?

I have a Magento site that is around 4 years old. It has 2 different wordpress blogs on the same domain. domain/blog domain/nicheblog I would like to completely remove the 2 blogs as the information on them is of low quality and its outdated information. What is the safest way for me to remove this content with out having negative effects on my rankings? thanks

Guest Blogging

If I am looking to guest blog for back links, do I need to reciprocate and provide guest blogging opportunities for them on my site? OR is it better to ask other site's to link to articles on my client's page with the understanding I will link to their page (if they are not competition)? I am trying to do some link building for a bankruptcy lawyer and I am considering possibly searching out guest blogging in different cities/states. Bankruptcy is primarily a federal matter, so reaching out to neighboring states. Not sure the client will be interested in this or not, but it's something I am considering. Our blog has got more than one page (containing blog posts) what do we do about the fact that we have 20 odd blog pages but only the first page has a Meta title and description? Very similar to the moz blog? Thanks

I wrote this blog, now what can I do?

Morning Guys As part of a bigger SEO Project I am writing some blog posts. I am trying to use information we have based on shopping habits within our store. So I have written this first blog post: http://blog.uniquemagazines.co.uk/2013/03/top-10-womens-magazines-purchased-as.html What can I do with my blog now to get more exposure? I have submitted our blog to a couple of RSS directory lists. I also created a pintrest board, and announced the blog post on our facebook and twitter accounts. I am hoping to do 1 of these bigger posts per week, and this took me about 3-4 hours to research the stats and compile the information, so obviously the more I can get out of it the better. Also, I am hoping over a number of weeks I can identify what sort of content relates best to our customers/browsers. Thanks Paul

I have created 2 blogs for a client as they have 2 domains (1 for their core business, and 1 for a product). I want to use the same content on both blogs. What is the best way to set this up so there are no ranking or duplicate content issues?

We are pushing SEO for only one of the domains, therefore I would like one to be dominant. We will be sending the blog post via email to their database, therefore each blog needs to have the same content. Thank you!

Leverage My Blog

Hello All, We have a local service based website that caters to all types of services. We have a blog with over 130 original articles published. I recently hired three writers that each write at least one article per day. The topics we blog about are based on hittail.com and google webmaster keyword searches.
