We found this website
https://shareasale.com/learnmore.cfm
Actually is an affiliate site, where the users there would be in charge of driving traffic into our website, and then we pay them in some way, I just wanted to know if this can affect my seo efforts negativele?

If your website is all about green widgets and you say... "Hey, I'll pay you good money for referring buyers to me!".... there might be quite a few extremely smart people who own strong websites decide to take you up on the deal. They then add lots of pages about green widgets to their website - absolutely saturating the keyword spectrum - and tomorrow morning when you wake up their pages will all be above yours all over the web.
Don't underestimate what one affiliate can do. He could own six powerful websites that are somewhat related to you. Just adding a page to them about green widgets could be enough to out rank you. And if he uses all six of those sites you are bumped - overnight - from page one to page two.
So, in addition to "working for you".... affiliates can "compete against you".
I rank above my affiliate program sites for their main keywords. Do they think its a "negative"?.... I don't think that they like my site above theirs - but at least I am selling their widget and not the other guy's.

Hi,
no, implementing a Shareasale affiliate program should not have any negative impact on your SEO efforts. All affiliate traffic must be channeled through Shareasale redirects, and all affiliates will link to these redirect links.
It means that affiliates will not generate any strange backlinks to your site.

What is a good crawl budget?
Hi Community! I am in the process of updating sitemaps and am trying to obtain a standard for what is considered "strong" crawl budget? Every documentation I've found includes how to make it better or what to watch out for. However, I'm looking for an amount to obtain for (ex: 60% of the sitemap has been crawled, 100%, etc.)

Broad stroke drops in Keywords on a good site
Any thoughts on why there would be an across the board drop in keyword ranking for a site that hasn't changed any of it's content marketing strategies? All above board and DA continues to be strong. All indicators that the site is healthy. Many competitors in the space (in Australia) continue to rank in the top pages with little change. As an example take the term "web design sydney" the leading pack here have ranked for 3+ years with very little change and rather consistent questionable tactics. It's a mystery. 🙂

What SEO factors do you consider when selecting a CMS?
I'm assisting evaluating 5 different CMS solutions for a client. As a part of this evaluation, I want to ensure we fully explore the SEO capabilities and short comings of the different platforms. Which factors would you recommend we consider? Currently, I'm thinking: custom URLs custom page titles, meta data, etc automatic sitemap updates customize robots/indexing settings site load times rel canonical support code & css quality 301 redirect functionality What else should be on this list? Is there anything on my list that you would de-prioritize? At risk of making this question too large: any opinions out there on what the most SEO friendly CMS systems are?

Wordpress SEO Errors - Any advice?
Hi all! My site is on the WP platform and I'm having a crawl error. Wondering if you guys could possibly help me figure out what's going on? I have a good number of 404 errors where the links seems to be appended and I can't figure out why. I've scoured my individual posts and cannot seem to find the broken link? The crawl error looks a bit like this: http://preciousthingsphotography.com/2007/12/10/chicago-family-photographer-welcome/http:%2F%2Fpreciousthingsphotography.com%2F2007%2F12%2F10%2Fchicago-family-photographer-welcome%2F You can see that my original link is somehow being doubled with the slashes being replaced? This is happening on all of my posts. Any ideas as to what could be going on? Thanks so much!

Site links in the footer template – still good for SEO?
Hi there, When I did a redesign a few years ago, I had it in my mind that site links in 3 or 4 columns at the bottom of the home page, and every other page, would be good for SEO. Having links to interior pages using keywords and phrases from the home page and all that…. I think this might now be outdated thinking? As long as there are some links from the home page to important interior pages to pass link juice that is what matters? Google might not even looks at links in the footer? Is this correct? Thoughts? Thanks so much!
