Why does site explorer keep crashing?

For around the last 24 hours, every time I run site explorer it gets to just over a quarter of the way through and then just stops.
I've tried this with different sites and it makes no difference.
Although this is the first time I've had this problem (I don't use the tool regularly myself) one of my colleagues says it often happens to her.
Is this a problem SEOmoz can explain and/or fix?

Sorry about the belated reply; I haven't had any more problems over the last couple of weeks so as it stands, it looks all sorted.

Hello Robert and Rand,
We had issues with our servers at Amazon over the last two days. We have corrected the issue causing OSE to crash. If you are still having issues please let me know and we will get them addressed ASAP.

Hmm... I haven't seen a lot of errors/reports coming in, but I will check with the team. It should be pretty stable- I know we had some Amazon issues with EC2 for a bit, but that shouldn't be strongly affecting.

Link from Gizmodo disappeared from Open Site Explorer
Hi, I have been using OSE to check competitor links, DA, PA etc. And recently noticed that an author at Gizmodo was kind enough to link us to a blog post of his. This is great news as Gizmodo has a DA of 94 and a PA of 50 (Which is pretty big compared to our DA of 30 and PA of 42). The link to the post is here: http://gizmodo.com/5956401/everything-you-need-for-the-best-trick+or+treating-house-in-the-neighborhood And the link to our website is: http://www.electromarket.co.uk/lighting-effects/lighting-effects/strobe/ffa0144 It was showing on OSE for the past few days but now it has vanished and it is showing channel5 (TV Channel in the UK) as the highest DA linking to us, which is still pretty good. But I just want to know why the link has stopped displaying on OSE 😞 Any help or insight is appreciated! Tom

When do the "just discovered" links on Open Site Explorer count?
I have been working hard to get follow backlinks but they have all been in the Just Discovered part of Open Site Explorer for a long time. So they don't count in my stats for Domain Authority and such. When do they move OUT of Just Discovered?

Seo moz has only crawled 2 pages of my site. Ive been notified of a 403 error and need an answer as to why my pages are not being crawled?
SEO Moz has only crawled 2 pages of my clients site. I have noticed the following. A 403 error message screaming frog also cannot crawl the site but IIS can. Due to the lack of crawling ability, im getting no feed back on my on page optimization rankings or crawl diagnostics summary, so my competitive analysis and optimization is suffering Anybody have any idea as to what needs to be done to rectify this issue as access to the coding or cms platform is out of my hands. I heard from a company that is trying to get my clients SEO business that they discovered multiple sites mirroring our site's content. Does SEOmoz have a tool to find these websites? Or does Google?

My domain authority is 1, and I am not seeing any links to my site.
I know that there are links to my site, but nothing shows up. My website is www.mullinsgeoffrey.com. I have tried with and without the www. I am using wordpress for this site, but competitors are as well, and there authority seems fine. is there a hidden setting somewhere that is screwing things up?

If my keywords aren't driving any traffic to my site, why am I still ranking for them?
In several of our campaigns we have watched our keywords steadily climb the rankings without ever registering so much as a blip in the traffic data column. If these keywords aren't driving any traffic to our site, how are we still ranking for them?

I see a link to my site on a couple different url's, but they are not listed in OSE. The links have been active for a long time too. Does OSE not track all inbound links from all sites? Thanks, Stephen

When to stop link building because page authority is low - open site explorer
Hi, I'm link building with Open Site Explorer. I'm really picky in get links from only high quality sites. When do you stop going down the list of possible backlink providers because the page authority is too low. I usually stop at 40, but what do you do, why, and what does it depend on?
