HTML E-mail Preventing Link Request?

Hi there,
The last couple of months we have had quite a few link request e-mails apparently not being received.
Our e-mails are sent out through Mozilla Thunderbird, so not an e-mail platform. However we use a HTML template to ensure our business logo and footers are consistent and to help raise awareness of the brand.
Is there any chance that some e-mails may well be blocked (e.g. by filters) because we're using HTML e-mails rather than a standard e-mail format and does anyone have any advice for ensuring e-mails get through (other than getting the right contact name if possible).

Thanks, I will check it out. I only understand basic German so I will see if the site translates into English. But we need to be aware of a few options.

Hi Martin, yes u are right its no sew easy
Since about 6 month we are using a Link managing Tool that also provides a Mail-Ticket System inside - since that time we don't have this problem any more.
The Software is Calley http://www.linkbird.de/ (I think its also available in english)

We are just using a .png - how do you avoid keyword blocking though? It's not like you can instantaneously avoid the word 'link' or providing a URL somewhere in the e-mail. How do you get round it?

yes i think so - sometimes we have the same problem.It can also be a .gif image ore some words in your post causing that.

Why am I getting links in my link report from sites that no longer exist?
So, I have a link report from Link Detox. And I'm going through all of them and considering what sites need to be removed. and trying to find emails and contact webmasters. There is just one odd thing i'm starting to see more of. A lot of links are on websites or webpages that no longer exist. The link no longer exists. Some of the domains are even available for purchase. Why are these links showing on the backlink report and are they really harming my website? Also, do I need to add these links into the disavow document that I will submit to Google?

Spammy Links in MOZ but when I go to the external link I can't find a link to us
I was going to try to contact webmasters to see if they would remove some of our spammy links. I see alot of them in MOZ but when you go to the site our anchor text is not there. Is this good? How often does MOZ refresh external links. Links to main landing category page or links directly to products
I have an ecommerce website and a manufacturer is providing links directly to my website from their products pages because they do not sell directly online. What is my best linking juice power for this situation:

Manufacturer A has a number of different brands: brand1, brand2, brand3 and a number of different products in each of it brands. They are currently linking their individual products to my individual products on my website. My website is setup like this:

--Linking manufacturer product to my associated brand page
--Linking manufacturer product to main manufacturer page

Deep Links From Same Domain
I know that it is best to diversify your inbound link profile, but I would like to know the best practices for a domain as a whole as opposed to the domains component pages. If I have a good link source (say for example Squidoo) that can provide links to a website's home page AND a few of its lower tier pages, are all these links of more or less equal value (for seo purposes) to each of the link targets, or does Google simply use a "one source domain, one counted link" approach? Total Links vs Ext. Followed Links
Hi I'm fairly new to SEO and SEOMOZ. I've created a campaign for my own site and I've added 3 competitor sites. There are 1,385 total links to my site and a massive 49,450 links to one of my competitor's site. However under "Ext. Followed Links", there are 1,045 to my site and only 911 to the same competitor site. Am I correct that it is the "Ext. Followed Links" which are more important from an SEO point of view as the other links have the "no follow" attribute set? Or have I got this wrong? Thanks James
