View the source (Ctrl U or right click and select "view source") then hold Ctrl and hit the "F" key to bring up a search box that will search the active document - in this case the source of the web page you were viewing. Type in<a href="" and="" click="" next="" over="" until="" you="" have="" looked="" at="" every="" link="" that="" makes="" up="" the="" navigation="" or="" possibly="" not="" them="" if="" they="" are="" html.="" the="" html="" for="" a="" is="" <a="" etc....<="" p=""></a>
<a href="" and="" click="" next="" over="" until="" you="" have="" looked="" at="" every="" link="" that="" makes="" up="" the="" navigation="" or="" possibly="" not="" them="" if="" they="" are="" html.="" the="" html="" for="" a="" is="" <a="" etc....<="" p="">Does this help you? I assume you are afraid that the links are JavaScript? If you are wondering if it is Flash you can just right click on one of the Navigation links on the website and the box that comes up will say "Zoom In, Zoom Out..." etc...</a>

Html extensions
I have remodeled an old html site using wordpress. I see some instructions in wordpress that says I can add an .html extension to some of the pages, but it looks pretty complicated. Is there any benefit in going through that hassle? or should I just ask my web guy to rewrite via htaccess | https://sacramentotop10.com/Weddings/Dresses.html | https://sacramentotop10.com/Weddings/Dresses.html becomes https://sacramentotop10.com/weddings/dresses

Microsoft IIS SEO tool claims I have no H1... It's not true.
I have 4300 pages that the tool claims are missing the H1 value but they are there. Here is an example: http://antiquebanknotes.com/rare-currency/first-national-bank-atlanta-illinois-2283.aspx/ Has anyone seen this before?

What is the best program to create an html sitemap?
I already have an xml sitemap, so I've been researching how to create an html sitemap with over 10,000 urls for an ecommerce website. Any program, paid or unpaid, just needs to be created so it looks good to put in the footer of our website.

If I want clean up my URLs and take the "www.site.com/page.html" and make it "www.site.com/page" do I need a redirect?
If I want clean up my URLs and take the "www.site.com/page.html" and make it "www.site.com/page" do I need a redirect? If this scenario requires a 301 redirect no matter what, I might as well update the URL to be a little more keyword rich for the page while I'm at it. However, since these pages are ranking well I'd rather not lose any authority in the process and keep the URL just stripped of the ".html" (if that's possible). Thanks for you help! Dynamically serving different HTML on the same URL
Dear Mozers, We are creating a mobile version for a real estate website. We are planning to dynamically serve different HTML on same URL. I'm a little confused about the on-page optimization for the mobile version. The desktop version pages has lot of text content and I strongly believe that made us ranking for various keywords. Now if I'm creating this mobile version do I need to serve all the same exact text content on the mobile version too? I found zillow.com using the same method, their desktop version has lot of text content and mobile version is clean without any text. Does this affect the sites SEO anyway? Please help, share your thoughts. RIyas

What is the value of having an HTML sitemap on site?
For years now whenever we recreate a site we always set up both an xml sitemap and an html sitemap page. Stupid question maybe - but what is the value to having an html sitemap on site?

Micro formats to block HTML text portions of pages
I have a client that wants to use micro formatting to keep a portion of their page (the disclaimer) from being read by the search engines. They want to do this because it will help with their keyword density on the rest of the page and block the “bad keywords” that come from their legally required disclaimer. We have suggested alternate methods to resolve this problem, but they do not want to implement those, they just want a POV from us explaining how this micro formatting process will work. And that’s where the problem is. I’ve never heard of this use case and can’t seem to find anyone who has. I'm posting the question to the Moz Community to see if anyone knows how microformats can keep copy from being crawled by the bots. Please include any links to sites that you know that are using micro formatting in this way. Have you implemented it and seen results? Do you know of a website that is using it now? We're looking for use cases please!
