Did the SERP Overlay CSV export disappear?
-
I'm using Google Chrome with SERP Overlay and it use to say Export to CSV... now it says Get Keyword Difficulty Report. Was this purposely removed?
This is one feature that I really liked (SEOQuake does this)... basically where I can export the search results with relevant metrics.

Hi Candice,
Would you mind asking this question in a new thread? Thanks so much!

Following up on my own question here. I found a way to expand it to 100, but I still have to do multiple downloads (one for each page of 100 results). Anyway to download beyond that at one time?

Hey Jon - I realize this is a bit of an older thread, but I'm wondering if there isn't a way to get all of the search results in one export, or at least some number more than the first 10 that show up. Can we expand that somehow?

Hello!
We actually published 2.61 to Mozilla on July 1st. This fixes the issue. It is currently sitting in their approval queue (number 38 - so not long to go!).
Sorry for the delay, it should automatically update when it is approved.

Seems like that's the end of that then. Could it be because of the same pressure from Google applied to Raven regarding their Google SERPs feature?
-
We are working on it this week, there are a few issues we are fixing in the next release so we will bundle them all and publish together. Can't give an exact date but I am hoping by end of next week we will have it released, published and approved by Mozilla.

Any news on a time frame?

Hey! Thanks for the feedback, this is a known issue. We missed this during the testing for the rebrand but it is being worked on. Really sorry for the inconvenience!

Bump
Since the re-branding its vanished....
-
Thanks Karen. That would explain it!
-
Ahhh, clarification. Thanks Karen

I am using Chrome and if what you are looking for is the Keyword Difficulty and Ranking report download, I have attached a screenshot of same. It is right under the top ten ranking pages for keyword. There is a download for excel and one for CSV.
Hope this was what you needed.

Are the metrics in Moz's SERP analysis relevant in my area?
Our site (https://loco2.com/) specialises in train journey planning at ticket booking, so we want to improve our ranking when people search Google for a specific journey they want to make (eg "London to Barcelona by train"). We have a set of about 400 Guide pages (eg London to Barcelona) which we want people to find when they search for those journeys. I've been trying to find out why some of those pages do better than others in search, and what our competitors are doing better. I was hoping that the SERP analysis and Keyword Reports tool could help me with this, so I ran analyses for a set of the keyword phrases we want to rank for, but I was surprised to find that most of the metrics in both the basic and full reports don't seem to relate to how high in the search result a page ranks. The screengrab attached shows the results for "Brussels to Paris train", which are fairly typical - many of the top-ranking pages have fairly low scores for most metrics, and the metrics don't seem to have much effect on how high they are in the search results. ( I assume N/A means the Page Authority is very low, or is it not calculated for some other reason?) I looked into this a bit further by downloading full reports for 11 keyword searches, and comparing the average scores for each metric with the rank, but I still couldn't see any effects of the metrics on the ranks. If anything, pages with higher Page Authority and Domain Authority were further down in search rankings. Does this mean that link metrics aren't very important for the kinds of pages we're looking at? This makes sense to me, because if I'm searching for tickets from London to Barcelona I want to find a very specific results page which is unlikely to have many links, but I keep reading that link metrics are one of the most important factors in SEO. Am I misunderstanding something? wJ9uUcG

SERP Changes depending on ISP
If I search Google for my site using my mobile internet provider I get different results from my main internet. Before anyone suggests it, it's nothing to do with saved searches as I'm clearing cookies and I've tried on multiple different platforms. I can plug my iPad and use my wireless, it's my normal rankings, but as soon as I switch to my mobile provider for internet, I'm 3rd instead of 2nd on the SERPs. Any ideas?

How long does it take to run a full keyword SERP analysis report?
Pretty much as the title suggests? Not something I'd done before as I normally do it manually and thought I'd give this a whirl.

Why does the CSV report on OSE limit the number of links I can download to less than it should?
I run an inbound link report for the domain www.acornstairlifts.co.uk on OpenSiteExplorer.org using the following filters: Show: All Links from: only external Pages to: pages on this root domain Show links: ungrouped It says that there are around 30,678 links for that query. I then go to the advanced tab, and run a report using the same filters, but when I click download report I only get 2874. I've run this for the past 2 days and I get the same. Why?

Rankings csv export doesn't show local rank
Is there a way to enable this in the settings somewhere? or is this simply not an available feature yet? Would be really great if there was an extra column in the report that shows local rank, as 93 of our top 100 keywords we track are all blended search results and a lot of the time this shows really inaccurate results because of this.

Can export be sped up?
Good tool guys. Basically, when I used to work at a software development company, we used to have a huge hosted app that had to import/export 10's of 1,000's of records, and at batch of 10,000 could be done in a few seconds. When exporting from OSE, it can take several minutes. Thanks and keep up the good work. Look forward to when your database can catch up to Yahoo's old SiteExplorer (yes, I know they were a full on search engine 🙂 but your one of the only decent alternatives, so guessing you're getting quite popular now 🙂

Report: keyword difficulty verses SERPS ranking
Hi there, I've been using the PRO tools for a few months now, and find them great for revealing information for my clients, and planning our SEO approach. One report I've put together has been really helpful for a client, but I built it manually and it took ages. It lists, in a spreadsheet, keywords side-by-side with keyword difficulty, target URL, and SERPs result. Sorting by keyword difficulty or SERPS position has helped us to prioritise which pages to hit first. But it took a while to generate the report, and I'm wondering if anyone has a better approach, or if this kind of report can be generated automatically: http://www.cicada-online.com/app/images/documents/product-page-SEO-blank.pdf Thanks Mozzers!
