Too many on page links
-
Hello
I have about 800 warnings with this.
Example of one url with this problem is:
http://www.theprinterdepo.com/clearance?dir=asc&order=price
I was checking and I think all links are important. But I suppose that if I put a nofollow on the links on the left which are only for navigation purposes I can get rid of these warnings.
Any other idea?

2569 links is far too many, and is likely a very big problem both for your users and SEO. You have more links then the New York Times.
Ask yourself this question....if you had to reduce your total number of links to less then 100, what would you do?
You can likely use category pages for your products and only link to the category pages from the navigation.

I have same problem. Crawl diagnostic (seomoz) show me Too Many On-Page Links: 2569. But webpage kabelky.eu is e-shop, so we have many products - each one is link.
Is this big problem. Does Google know, that we are e-shop with many products? What can we do?
Also we have problem with duplicate page title, because on this links with parameters:
http://www.kabelky.eu/cz/aktovky-etue/panske-aktovky-a-etue/
http://www.kabelky.eu/cz/aktovky-etue/panske-aktovky-a-etue/?d=a
http://www.kabelky.eu/cz/aktovky-etue/panske-aktovky-a-etue/?d=a&of=12 ... etc..
have same title
We added canonicals to all these page, but I'm not sure it's fine solution.
Thanks for help in advance..

Ryan's right - nofollow wouldn't change the warning, and it's not effective for link-sculpting anymore. I wouldn't use it on main navigation links. 100 links is just a rule of thumb - it's a balancing act:

I see you have canonicals in place Gotta love Magento

I suppose that if I put a nofollow on the links on the left which are only for navigation purposes I can get rid of these warnings.
Not true. Adding the "nofollow" tag to a link does not reduce the link count. It will have no effect on the warning. You need to remove the link and reduce the link count to below 100 in order to remove the warning.
In your case, I would disregard the warning. The warning will go off anytime more then 100 links are discovered on a page. Your site shows 103 links. I have recommended to SEOmoz they adjust the tool to allow users to adjust the link count warning to a user-selectable number. Hopefully that feature will be implemented.
A small note. The copyright date for your site shows as 2008. I would recommend adjusting it to 2012.

Are you having issues getting important pages indexed? If not then you don't really need to worry about this. This is just a good practice warning, but not necessarily an actual error.
If you are then you should create an XML sitemap and reference it in your robots.txt to help get more of them indexed. Also, submit your sitemap in Google Webmaster Tools.
I'd say a more important issue you should deal with first is making your URLs and Page Titles more search engine friendly.
For example this Page Title & URL:
Page Title: Clearance http://www.theprinterdepo.com/clearance?brand=Dell&dir=asc&order=price
Would be much better as something like the following:
Page Title: Dell Laser Printers on Clearance
http://www.theprinterdepo.com/clearance/dell/laser-printers/price-low-high/

Customer Reviews on Product Page / Pagination / Crawl 3 review pages only
Hi experts, I present customer feedback, reviews basically, on my website for the products that are sold. And with this comes the ability to read reviews and obviously with pagination to display the available reviews. Now I want users to be able to flick through and read the reviews to help them satisfy whatever curiosity they have. My only thinking is that the page that contains the reviews, with each click of the pagination will present roughly the same content. The only thing that changes is the title tags which will contain the number in the H1 to display the page number. I'm thinking this could be duplication but i have yet to be notified by Google in my Search console... Should i block crawlers from crawling beyond page 3 of reviews? Thanks

How can I avoid too many internal links in my site navigation?
Hi! I always get this notification on my pages 'Avoid Too Many Internal Links' when I run the Page Optimization Score. And this is the message I get how to fix it: Scale down the number of internal links on your page to fewer than 100, if possible. At a minimum, try to keep navigation and menu links to fewer than 100. On my website I got a desktop navigation menu and a mobile variant, so in the source this will show more internal links. If I hide those links with CSS for the view, is the problem then solved? So Does Google then see less internal links? Or does Google crawl everything? I'm curious how I can fix this double internal links issue with my navigation menu.

Trying to find all internal links to a specific page (without index)
Hi guys -- Still waiting on Moz to index a page of mine. We launched a new site over two months ago. In the meantime, I really just need a list of internal links to a specific page because I want to change its URL. Does anybody know how to find that list (of internal links to 1 of my pages) without the Moz index? I appreciate the help!

Page Content
Our site is a home to home moving listing portal. Consumers who wants to move his home fills a form so that moving companies can cote prices. We were generating listing page URL’s by using the title submitted by customer. Unfortunately we have understood by now that many customers have entered exactly same title for their listings which has caused us having hundreds of similar page title. We have corrected all the pages which had similar meta tag and duplicate page title tags. We have also inserted controls to our software to prevent generating duplicate page title tags or meta tags. But also the page content quality not very good because page content added by customer.(example: http://www.enakliyat.com.tr/detaylar/evden-eve--6001) What should I do. Please help me.

New EMD update effected my mom's legit author page? From page 1 in SERP to nowhere for her name
I think my mom's site, MargaretTerry.com was hit by this update for her name "Margaret Terry". Went from bouncing around the first page on google.com and .ca all the time to nowhere on the index. The results are now very strange, a mix of Youtube, linked in, and small book stores that she has done events at recently to promote her first book. I was checking after some of my SEO buddys were freaking out about their EMD's getting hit on Sunday. She is an aspiring author with a book coming out this month. There is obviously no ads or spam content on the site... I have never done SEO for it either except a bit of on page I guess. It sucks that people might be grabbing her book soon and when they Google her name nothing shows up. This couldn't have really happened at a worse time. Not to mention the hours spent building the site to her liking, free of charge of course 🙂 Is there anyone I can contact there to help me out? Shouldn't and EMD that is someones name still rank when you search their name?

How can I prevent duplicate content between www.page.com/ and www.page.com
SEOMoz's recent crawl showed me that I had an error for duplicate content and duplicate page titles. This is a problem because it found the same page twice because of a '/' on the end of one url. e.g. www.page.com/ vs. www.page.com My question is do I need to be concerned about this. And is there anything I should put in my htaccess file to prevent this happening. Thanks!

Does page speed affect what pages are in the index?
We have around 1.3m total pages, Google currently crawls on average 87k a day and our average page load is 1.7 seconds. Out of those 1.3m pages(1.2m being "spun up") google has only indexed around 368k and our SEO person is telling us that if we speed up the pages they will crawl the pages more and thus will index more of them. I personally don't believe this. At 87k pages a day Google has crawled our entire site in 2 weeks so they should have all of our pages in their DB by now and I think they are not index because they are poorly generated pages and it has nothing to do with the speed of the pages. Am I correct? Would speeding up the pages make Google crawl them faster and thus get more pages indexed?
