Does a UK version of Hot Searches exist?
-
Hi,
Is there a UK version of US Google Hot Searches?
From my search, it seems like there used to be Hot Topic but it no longer exists.
What can I use to find trending topics in the UK?
If anyone has tools that work in RU, AU, DE or SW that would also be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I didn't found for google but I think AOL have something like this - http://hotsearch.aol.co.uk/ ... hope this helps.

When you go to google.couk/trends you see "Hot Searches (USA)". I am looking for something similar for the UK - the most popular/trending searches for the week (as opposed to trends for a specific keyword)

Here you go http://www.google.co.uk/trends/ Search for topics...

Keywords with no search volume
Hi there! What are your thoughts on optimizing pages for keywords that have no search volume (using the Keyword Planner)? I'm not sure it should be done, since optimizing for keywords that no one searches for is kind of useless, right? Or should I do it hoping that sometime in the future the keyword will have a surge on searches? Thanks!

Broad Match Search Volume
Hi All, In Google keyword planner, "broad match" option has been removed. I want to know that is there any other method in Google keyword planner or any other tool or any technique through which we can find out the "Broad Match" search volume??

Am I blind or has Google finally shut down its "Related Searches" option?
I know I just used this a few days ago, so I was surprised when doing keyword research today that I could no longer access the "Related Searches" feature in Google search. Has anyone else noticed this? It's a pity if it's gone, although I think Google announced it was going to shut this down over a year ago. They said the same thing about the "Patent" search too, but it is still available. I know using "Related Searches" was really popular with SEOs so I am wondering if anyone else is as sad-faced as I am? Or perhaps was it just bumped today so Google could have fun with their April Fool's beta test of Google "Nose" ?

Organic search by Simply Hired in Google Analytics
Hello there, In Google Analytics I found that there are many visits from Simplyhired - SimplyHired / organic . I don't know is there a way to see where exactly they come from Simplyhired, by what kind of a search. When I click on the link "SimplyHired / organic" in Sources> All traffic it doesn't show any details about keywords or urls in that website http://www.simplyhired.com/

What does it mean when two keywords in Google's Keyword Research Tool have exactly the same amount of searches?
The two keywords are [publicity] and [product placement] (both in exact search - not broad) and have 22,200 searches each. Is it purely coincidental or are the two keywords kind of related in Google's eyes and that's why we're seeing the same amount of searches for each?

How do I determine international search volume for a search term, beyond google?
I am trying to determine which countries I should be entering into next with my product based on search volume and competition. The issue is that not every country has google as their primary engine, ie. China. How would I go about figuring out volume / competition globally across all engines?
