Dramatic fall in SERP's for all keywords at end of March 2012?? Help!

Hi,
Our website www.photoworld.co.uk has been improving it's SERP's for the last 12 months or so, achieving page 1 rankings for most of our key terms.
Then suddenly, around the end of March, we suffered massive drops in nearly all of our key terms (see attached image for more info).
Basically I wondered if anyone had any clues on what Google has suddenly taken a huge dislike to with our site and steps we can put in place to aid with rankings recovery ASAP.

Hi Peter,
We get get a message from Google via webmaster tools in Feb about 'unnatural links', but it's difficult to identify which links they are referring to. We certainly don't deliberatly or activly ingage in any sort of unnatural link building.

Your backlink profile looks very SEOd... nearly all exact match anchors. Looks like some of the links may be from private link networks too? Google has hit sites that have these kind of links very hard. They busted a lot of the private link networks last month and last week they released the overoptimization penalty that seems to have hit sites that have lots of exact match keyword anchors very hard. Sorry I don't have better news!
I'd get rid of as many of these links as you can....though there are sooo many I'm guessing this task won't be easy.

I have exactly the same situation here. Did all the changes needed before penguin goes on .. but droppped badly.
Did you check your Google Webmaster Tools for any google message ? (if you were hit by some google updates errors http://searchengineland.com/penguin-update-recovery-tips-advice-119650)

Sitename in Mobile SERPS is Incorrect
Our site is being presented in mobile SERPS with a completely wrong sitename. Screenshot is attached. Despite confirming multiple times that "HYPR Biometrics" does not actually appear anywhere in the back-end, schema markup, or webmaster tools settings - Google still _decides _that this is the site name. It makes no sense at all and is driving us crazy. What can be done to correct this? I imagine this can be a major issue for companies who are completely misrepresented in SERPs. Should You Link Back from Client's Website?
We had a discussion in the office today, about if it can help or hurt you to link back to your site from one that you optimize, host, or manage. A few ideas that were mentioned: HURT:

1. The website is not directly related to your niche, therefore Google will treat it as a link exchange or spammy link.
2. Links back to you are often not surrounded by related text about your services, and looks out of place to users and Search Engines. HELP:
1. On good (higher PR, reputable domain) domains, a link back can add authority, even if the site is not directly related to your services.
2. Allows high ranking sites to show users who the provider is, potentially creating a new client, and a followed incoming link on anchor text you can choose. So, what do you think? Test results would be appreciated, as we are trying to get real data. Benefits and cons if you have an opinion.2 -

It used to rank around 4 for the search "austin wedding venues" and it still ranks number three for this search on Bing. I haven't done any SEO work on it in a while so i don't think i did anything to make Google mad but now it doesn't even rank anywhere in the top 160 results. Question #1 - My Cherry's Popped!
I recently acquired rights to a URL that is one of our keywords. Instead of developing a landing page with that URL and then only linking it back to the company root, I was thinking about adding a link within the company's global nav that pushes to this new URL (and new page content of course). Are there any Pros or Cons to doing it that way? Thank you so much!

Does it fall under cloaking in pagination?
When i am trying to implement rel=next and prev tag in my pages and due to prefetching feature of firefox browser some how more calls are coming to my server for one page and its effecting my page performance. Solution that i can think of is 1. Increase my server capacity to handle it smoothly - not possible to invest for this change 2. Show this tags only when bot crawls the pages and not when user is coming through browser. My question is does option 2 fall under cloaking ?

Help for a complete SEO newbie!
Hi all, I've just joined seomoz today to try and further my very young education on SEO. My major problem is i need my site to rank high in local search engines but feel that none of the customers read much of the content as i am a landscaper and feel they just search "landscaping in Newcastle" and are immediatly looking for a contact number to arrange a free estimate. I dont do any online sales, its just to generate leads. I've spent alot of time building a better site than my local competitors but they still out rank me on alot of keywords i.e. "Driveways in Gateshead" My question is do i keep adding more and more content hoping this will work long term or do i link build with anchor text etc or both? I cannot believe they still out rank me when i feel i have more links more anchor text and a load more origional content and images. I think it may be that my site is still under 1 year old. I feel i am boucing from content to link building then trying something else without any real knowlegde of what i really should be doing or what should be the priority at this young stage for my site. I have managed to get on page 1 of google for most of my keywords in local searches ( obviously not national) but still feel its been more down to luck and effort than actually knowing what i am doing when it comes to site and offsite optimization Any help, tips etc would be greatly appreciated.
