Best XML Generator for Wordpress?

Quick question - does anybody have any recommendations for the best XML sitemap plugin for Wordpress?
An idea of why you like it would also be helpful.

Sorry to bother you again but have another quick question as I'm struggling to exclude child URLs from the sitemap. Have posted another question here, if you are interested in answering yet another question!

I would recommend Yoast over ANY SEO plugin to be honest....

With regards to the SEO plugin, would you recommend Yoast above All in One SEO? I've tended to use that in the past and it's pretty good, however if you have some reasons for why Yoast is better then I'll definitely give that a try next time.

Spot on - Google XML sitemap is the one I was about to recommend before I saw Keith beat me to it : )
There's a few others but the above is certainly the easiest to use. I'd also recommend the Yoast Wordpress SEO plugin if you're looking at optimising your WP site.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/ is the one I use on over 20 WP sites, it is easy to set up, one click and your done. With over 7.5 million downloads I think it's pretty popular

Should we change the publish date in WordPress when updating a post?
Hi everyone, We're going through some of our old posts in our WordPress blog and updating them, adding new information, new links, and photos. My question: If we update the posts significantly, should we also update the "published" date to today? If we only correct some typos or a dead link, we don't touch the date. However, if we've done some real work on the post, we'd like to update the published date in order to bring it to the top of our blog feed and draw new attention to the post. However, I'm a little nervous that this could be seen by Google as spammy, as it's not technically a new post and the URL already exists in Google's index of our site. Here's an example of a post that was published several years ago and then updated a few week's ago with new information (and a new date stamp): http://www.eurocheapo.com/blog/barcelona-tip-five-cheap-eats-under-e6.html Any thoughts on this? Best Way To Clean Up Unruly SubDomain?
Hi, I have several subdomains that present no real SEO value, but are being indexed. They don't earn any backlinks either. What's the best way of cleaning them up? I was thinking the following: 1. Verify them all in Webmaster Tools. 2. Remove all URLs from the index via the Removal Tool in WMT 3. Add site-wide no-index, follow directive. Also, to remove the URLs in WMT, you usually have to block the URLs via /robots.txt. If I'd like to keep Google crawling through the subdomains and remove their URLs, is there a way to do so?

Best way to change from one CMS to wordpress??
I have a client that was working with another SEO consultant and they pretty much dropped the ball big time! The SEO company took his site off of wordpress and put it on another CMS (http://www.wsinetsuccess.com/WSI-E-Fusion). My client would like to take hes site off of the WSI E Fusion platform and back onto wordpress. My question is how is the best way to going about doing this with out loosing all of the PR to the site? Should I find all of the URLs that are on the site and just 301 them to the right page? My wordpress URL is breaking and there are 5000 not found urls in webmaster due to some code being added %E2%80%9d. This code stands for double quotation marks - " Now the question is, where has my site gone wrong? I will tell you the changes which i have made Deleted a Vbulletin forum - Half of the errors are due to the forum being deleted directly Upgraded to Wordpress 3.3 (crawl errors did not show on the same day. Much later) Upgraded to Blue host pro (crawl errors did not show on the same day. Much later) These are some of the speculations. But nonetheless i have no idea why this is happening. To give further hints, the Home page URL is being added to the original URL. http://www.marketing91.com/article/http://www.marketing91.com http://www.marketing91.com/article/http://www.wrodpress.org So these are a list of problems i am facing in URL. Now i have no idea why this is happening. I can account for the deletion of a vbulletin forum. But that accounts only for half of the crawl errors. So any replies or answers??
