How to get rid of back links?
-
I would like to clear all of the links linking to us to start over fresh? Our site has become non existent on Google with no messages or warning from them through webmaster tools. From tools on here and other sources it indicates that we should be ranked ahead of our competitors or atleast comparable. We are not found under the keywords that we use to be...."parts washers" "part washer" industrial cleaning systems etc.. our site is www.vortexpartswashers.com.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You are not banned when I search.
I find your site on the first two pages for a variety of queries. You are at position #15 for "used parts washers for sale"
I also see lots of duplicate content page-to-page on your own site. Lots of your content also appears verbatim on plus.google.com, on blogspot. and on other sites.
I would have a pro review the site to determine if you have a penguin problem or a panda problem. Or, you can study up on these two problems and diagnose yourself (but I would hire a pro).
Canning your domain and moving content to a new site will not get rid of a panda problem. It just cuts off your links.
Get a competent damage assessment before you do anything costly. When you talk with the person who does this assessment tell them as much as possible as accurately as possible about your linkbuilding history.

In OSE it looks like you only have 2 external linking domains, you could try contacting those sites directly to request they remove the links to your site.
Regarding your rankings, try focusing on trying to get a dozen really good links and make sure your content is all unique then see how they improve.

Disavowing Links: Over-optimized Anchor Text
If a site has been effected by Penguin, and the main issue is over-optimized anchor text. Would the disavow file take care of this? If there is a no-follow added to the link when Google next crawls the site, wouldn't you still have the optimized anchor text in your profile?

Linking to CMS page ID
Hi all, Is it that detrimental to SEO if you link to the CMS page ID of a URL rather than the text URL of a page even if when you look at the source code Google sees it as a text URL? Thanks! 🙂

Should I no follow all external links?
I have worked with a few different SEO firms lately and a lot of them have recommended on the sites I was working on to "no-follow" all external links on the site. On one hand this traps all the link equity/Pagerank. On the other I would think this practice is frowned upon by Google. What are some opinions on this?

Tracking Links Tool
I think someone may be trying to harm my site by adding spammy links so I want to track the links going to my site on a daily basis. Any tool suggestions? Majestic SEO is great for getting an overall picture of my links, but is not updated daily. Thanks!
