Why aren't review score metadata appearing on the SERP for this page?
-
The page in question is: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/sony-rx100/sony-rx100A.HTM
Review metadata checks out in google's rich metadata tester, but doesn't get displayed on the SERP for "Sony RX100" (see second page).

We're not an aggregator of user reviews, we provide our own reviews. _For the review in question, I added the metadata to communicate the rating we gave to the camera:
http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/sony-rx100/sony-rx100A.HTM
Specifically:
All things considered, we think the Sony RX100 is an impressive achievement and we give it a rating of 5 out of 5 points, as well as an enthusiastic Dave's Pick.

Hi Arthur, I have checked your landing page I don't find any reviews on that page. You are displaying reviews from prigrabber.com. Is it happening because of that. I am not sure about that. But for the same keyword I have checked landing page of bhphotovideo.com, Google displaying the reviews in SERP, they have reviews on there landing page.

I've been waiting weeks. I only added the metadata to one page to gauge impact. The request for 4 pages in the google webmaster feedback forum suggests google needs to see more pages on a site with metadata. Is this the case?

If everything is on the page correctly, give it some time to add this data to the SERP. You can learn more and notify google of this addition here http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1093493#enoughtime

Hi,
Please elaborate more about your question because i am get confused after reading, you have told that your meta data doesn't shows in SERP but it is displays title and description as you set in your site. Sometimes if Google found more relevant description from your page then it takes that title and description , not you set in meta tag.

Crawl solutions for landing pages that don't contain a robots.txt file?
My site (www.nomader.com) is currently built on Instapage, which does not offer the ability to add a robots.txt file. I plan to migrate to a Shopify site in the coming months, but for now the Instapage site is my primary website. In the interim, would you suggest that I manually request a Google crawl through the search console tool? If so, how often? Any other suggestions for countering this Meta Noindex issue?

Redirect url that don't end with slash
Hi! I need to add in my .htaccess a way to redirect URL that don't end with / to the one thats end wth /.For example, I need http://example.com to redirect to http://www.example.com/. And, of course, this redirection should be only for URLs that don't end with /, so I don't get double // at the end. I already have the code to redirect the non-www to the www, but can't find a way to do the slash thing. Thanks!

Lots of Pages Dropped Out of Google's Index?
Until yesterday, my website had about 1200 pages indexed in Google. I did lots of changes: removed low quality content, rewrote passable content to make it better, wrote high quality content, got lots of likes and shares on social networks, etc. Now this morning I see that out of 1252 pages submitted, only 691 are indexed. Is that a temporary situation related to the recent updates? Anyone seeing this? What should I interpret about this?

I know I'm missing pages with my page level 301 re-directs. What can I do?
I am implementing page level re-directs for a large site but I know that I will inevitably miss some pages. Is there an additional safety net root level re-direct that I can use to catch these pages and send them to the homepage?

Indexed pages and current pages - Big difference?
Our website shows ~22k pages in the sitemap but ~56k are showing indexed on Google through the "site:" command. Firstly, how much attention should we paying to the discrepancy? If we should be worried what's the best way to find the cause of the difference? The domain canonical is set so can't really figure out if we've got a problem or not?

Sitemap for pages that aren't on menus
I have a site that has pages that has a large number, about 3,000, pages that have static URLs, but no internal links and are not connected to the menu. The pages are pulled up through a user-initiated selection process that builds the URL as they make their selections, but,as I said, the pages already exist with static URLs. The question: should the sitemap for this site include these 3,000 static URLs? There is very little opportunity to optimize the pages in any serious kind of way, if you feel that makes a difference. There is also no chance that a crawler is going to find its way to these pages through the natural flow of the site. There isn't a single link to any of these pages anywhere on the site. Help?

Duplicate Page Content and Title for product pages. Is there a way to fix it?
We we're doing pretty good with our SEO, until we added product listing pages. The errors are mostly Duplicate Page Content/Title. e.g. Title: Masterpet | New Zealand Products MasterPet Product page1 MasterPet Product page2 Because the list of products are displayed on several pages, the crawler detects that these two URLs have the same title. From 0 Errors two weeks ago, to 14k+ errors. Is this something we could fix or bother fixing? Will our SERP ranking suffer because of this? Hoping someone could shed some light on this issue. Thanks.

Grr . . . Just can't seem to get there
mrswitch.com.au is one site that we are consistantly struggling with . . . It has a page rank of 3 which beats most of the competitors, but when it comes to Google AU searches such as Sydney Electrician and Electrician Sydney etc, we just can't seem to get there and the rankings keep dropping. We backlink and update the pages on a regular basis Any ideas? - Could it be the custom CMS system?
