Hi there,

if you set up a public bulletin board in the context of a SEO project, what product can you recommend?

phpBB? A great plugin for Wordpress? ...?

My requirements are complete configuration options of the relevant onsite elements, editing/moderation capability of all posts, authentication.

If you are willing to pay, go with vBulletin.

phpBB would be the best free alternative (there are plenty of mods/plugins that can make the site very SEO friendly)

Does a text URL (without hyperlink) provide any SEO value?

Our clients use the link shortener of our service software to share their job offers. Sometime the job baords they post to do not allow hyperlink and thus post the url as text only. Do these url texts offer any benfits in terms of SEO?

Article submission web-sites and SEO

Does article submission web-sites have any impact to SEO in these days? There are a lot of good/not so good article submission databases, but does it really matter if you spend a time to write unique articles for them? I mean, is it a good way for link-building, or should I spend more time for other parts of SEO? There are also a special websites (for example SubmitYourArticle) which automate this process, does it make sense to use this services? Alternates? Link Management Software

Hi everyone, I'm new to SEOMoz Pro, but have been reading articles on this website forever! I'm looking for a software to help me organize links I've built, including (genuine) comments I've posted on blogs, forums, links from directories, articles or other websites. I'm not talking about automated directory submission software or some other shady submission software. All I need is a software that could help me organize all these links and check if the link is still there from time to time. One of the feature I'd like to have is the ability to retrieve page related information such as domain age, PR, incoming links on page, outgoing links on page and the theme relevance of each of these links. Any good recommendation?

Is there a software to help me check whether the sites that i give link to, also place my link on their site (reciprocal link)?

When i exchange links with others, i usually put their link on my site hoping that they'll do the same. Since it's impossible to check all sites whose link i have placed on my page to see if they have put a link back to me, i was wondering whether there is a kind of software to help me do that!

SEO Fightback

I just got a spam email company (SEO FIghtback) that claims they can create backlinks through trusted Wordpress networks that cannot ever be rejected by google. I believe it to be just another linking company wanting to suck $97 bucks a month out of me, I thought I would ask the experts on this site. The video was cool....for about 30 second......but that is all I could handle. It ultimately became one of the most irritating commericals ever and truly grated on my last nerve. Thanks
