Hi there,

if you set up a public bulletin board in the context of a SEO project, what product can you recommend?

phpBB? A great plugin for Wordpress? ...?

My requirements are complete configuration options of the relevant onsite elements, editing/moderation capability of all posts, authentication.

If you are willing to pay, go with vBulletin.

phpBB would be the best free alternative (there are plenty of mods/plugins that can make the site very SEO friendly)

I am concerned about the links pointing to my site. There have been an additional 273 dodgy links added in the last 2 months for unknown reasons skewing the linking domains by DA to mostly 1-10\. Could this be a negative SEO campaign?

SEO & URL parameters on external links

Hey guys! I've got a quick question: We are getting some guest posting opportunities with a few big sites in our space...
In those guest posts we will also have to chance to link back to 1-2 articles of ours and to our main site. Should I use UTM parameters to track how many clicks we get or will this in any way negatively affect our SEO benefits? Hope you guys know what I mean. I found tons of articles on this but mostly about inbound links... which isn't the case here. Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi everyone, I'm new to SEOMoz Pro, but have been reading articles on this website forever! I'm looking for a software to help me organize links I've built, including (genuine) comments I've posted on blogs, forums, links from directories, articles or other websites. I'm not talking about automated directory submission software or some other shady submission software. All I need is a software that could help me organize all these links and check if the link is still there from time to time. One of the feature I'd like to have is the ability to retrieve page related information such as domain age, PR, incoming links on page, outgoing links on page and the theme relevance of each of these links. Any good recommendation?

New website start of SEO

I have a new domain name starting its SEO have added it to Pro Dashboard campaign of my ac. Started doing is Research with competitiors backlink analysis as well. 1. If i do i say 10-30 back link requests in a day for 1 domain name using research of the analaysis tools will it be ok or it will be high numbers to start with ? 2. Shall i in start itself of SEO start doing blog commenting or not recommended. 3. Having same email id and name for 3-5 blog comments day for new domain with same email di and same name cannot it hit to any spam issue ? Asking however i read blogs and then only do good post of comment to ensure that it also contribute something in name of fresh good content to the comment box area to get good approval rate as well. I want to know the basic numbers to start with SEO for fresh new domain and how shall it be progressive in numbers etc. Will wait for reply of the community members...
