Hello,
I have snow removal service, and im targeting western ma,
but i cant really find keywords that are being searched on google for my area
what would be the right keyword research , right now i have good keyword list but its too broad i mean like
commercial snow removal 140 local searches
snow plowing pricing 480 local searches
roof snow removal 140 local searches
again im targeting western Massachusetts around 20 cites and towns
should i build my kw list like this to rank for 20 of these cites
commercial snow removal western ma

I agree with the previous comment and would add this:
When I went to Google just now and started typing "western ma" and then didn't hit enter, and looked at Google's auto-suggested terms, this one was first "western ma craigslist" - You might want to make sure you have an ad in Craigslist, or bid on that term if you are going to do any Paid search marketing.
Just a thought!

Hi Konstantin,
You are correct. Match those keywords together with the cities that you operate in, and you might be surprised what might come up.
When doing this, try both adding the area before and after the keyword, sometimes it can make a difference. To save time, I use Merge Words where you can easily put in keywords and then the cities before or after.
Good luck

Anchor text or inbound link keyword limits
With google's new algorithm, websites can get punished for keyword stuffing or too many of certain back links...so my question is, is there a limit on the keyword/anchortext used for a website containing a keyword you want the website to rank with?

Spam sites republish a article with 'money keyword' anchor text and causing a pentalty.. how to prevent.
About 6 weeks ago we had a DA50 / PA50 homepage site publish an article on our company which included a money keyword anchor text to our site.. Great. Once this happened we shot up the SERP for this term, but quite a few other spam / crawler sites seem to automatically republish everything this DA50 site publishes. This didnt seem to be a problem up until a couple of weeks ago, but now with the new penguin update it seems we have been slapped with a penalty, for having 20 sites all with the same article and anchor text. (the rest of our profile is pretty natural, so this is the main culprit for the penalty) Im now going to write to all the webmasters apart from the DA50 site, and ask them to remove the article, failing that ill have to disavow them. For future reference what is there a way of avoiding this issue of spam sites republishing a propper article and triggering a penalty.

Should I work with current site or start a new site with more keywords?
I have been working with my site for some time. Sadly, I am moving lower and lower in ranking. I am wondering if I should just transfer my site to a new URL (this time including keywords). I don't understand the whole disavow link thing. I hired someone about 2 years ago, when I lost my ranking due to malicious software. Well, it turns out that, she submitted my link to weird sites that I don't even know what they are. It is like sites with thousands of websites just listed. Things have never been half of what they were and I am really just growing frustrated. I understand that having an a URL for awhile is helpful, but I appear to have lost many of my good linking sites. Any thoughts?

Keywords with Low Search Volume under 100
Friends, Generally if you follow all the traditional White Hat SEO methods including Fresh Content how much time it should take for keywords with around search volume of 90 (per month) to show up in Page 1 in Google US. Thank you

Google has a problem with this keyword
I've been trying to get one of my clients to rank in the first page for a word which I think has no serious competition at all. Every tool I tried so far including SEOMoz's on-page diagnostics tool seem to have no positive SEO results whatsoever. According to most tools out there our page is optimized for SEO more than every website who is ranked for this keyword. The competition also has less backlinks and social awareness. We even advertise on Google for this word. But Google says no...keeps dropping us in results. We have many FB and twitter followers to. But Google is committed to rank bad sites. Funny thing is that recently our site has received a PR6. No matter what we do Google is convinced to list pretty ugly looking sites for this specific keyword and I have ran out of options. This is really driving me crazy. The keyword we try to rank is "doktor" and we want to rank in google.com.tr. If you look the search results you will see a lot of youtube videos and some sites that don't even provide meaningful content. Please help.
